I come to the garden along, while the dew is still fresh
on the meadows. Early in the morning do the bird's sing
praises of roses and peddles. I cry, because there is no
refuge finally from the pain.
Yet long ago, a child was born, to become king, and yes
there is hope, just for believing in his name. Where is this King!
when I'm hurting and alone? He's just a prayer away, don't give
up, for he's Alpha and Omega, which means, just be strong!.
So they sent me to a place, to turn my life around. I cry, be-
cause, I am somebody no longer am I bound.
Now I know that Jesus is my refuge and no more drugs is
there for I. Thank you Lord, for the method, that's "Why Must
I Cry".

Paris the 13th

Tears, my tears fall to wine
As I can not comprehend this horrendous crime
Men filled with such spiteful hate
Islamic teachings seal their fate
Kill and slaughter love and smiles
How I pray tell does this bring about
Any compassion of heart, have they no guile?

I have walked along those Parisian streets
Filled with history and diversity, such a feat
Hand in hand, people from so many lands
Dressed in darkness, blacks and grays
The massacre dancing in premonitions sway
Crusaders never win, for love will take its stand

Hundreds taken from Jesus hands
For nothing more than celebrating their great lands
Food and drink and lovers smiles
Stolen this night by hateful bile
We shall rise again, defend and stand

Our blood may flow in the river seine
However in the end its you, who is insane
We shall defend our liberty
Even if we hang evil from the tree

Père Lachaise has brought me tears
Such history over all the years
Yet here I am faced to visit once again

Paying respect to those dying in vain
My heart is fraught, with you till eternity

Liberté, égalité, fraternité

Notes: Pere Lachaise is a famous cemetery in Paris
Liberté, égalité, fraternité is the motto of France

I come to you with humble thanks for all that you’ve delivered, For Englishmen to walk the planks and for timbers left unshivered. I thank you for a glassy sea and the steady blowing breeze, For giving all these things to me without making me say please. And I thank you for the horizon where sea and sky do meet, For every new sun that I watch risin’ is a day of fate I’ll cheat. It is my hope dear loving Lord that I can bring you pleasure, By throwing someone overboard and stealing all their treasure. And when I navigate at night you send the northern star, I feel then that I’m alright and it’s to you that I’ll say ARRR. There’s a lesson that some people teach about the carrying that you do, But I knew that the footprints on the beach must have belonged to you. ‘Cause I got a peg and there’s no doubt it would’ve got stuck into the sand. I couldn’t have pulled myself back out because I got this hook for one hand. I’d like to see you but by some quirk my good eye got covered by my patch, I know that I’m just salvage work and it’s you who’ll batten down my hatch. So Yo Ho Ho and a bottle of rum and raise the Jolly Roger to the sky, And praise Him from whom blessings come the one who reigns on high. For I am grateful for the gifts that you have granted me, A pirate ship that is so swift and the blue green open sea.

ONLY HEALTH AND JOY I believe You Father God is in control. Tell me more... I want to know what else You want me to do; I want to know who else You want me to know, I want to know what else You want to reveal to me, Open my eyes, my ears, my heart and my mind let the wind the blows whisper to me let the sunshine tell me still there is hope let the blooming flowers tell me the possibilities let the tweeting birds be the notes to alarm me Ah!!! let it be Father God! Let Your Holy Spirit lead my feet Unto You Oh! God I laid my plans, Father God, look at them I want to know which of them brings You more glory and honor. I want to know which of them heads me to Your path. I want to know which of them draws a smile to Your face. You know and watch over me everyday, You know my every thought, my every heartbeat and my every action, I believe in whatever I do O Father God, You are already there for me You send hosts of angels to guard me You send the grinning sunshine to invite new hope Before I put all my effort, time, energy and all I speak to You anytime of the day for I believe everytime I speak with my heart You my Father God is listening kindly to me. From long prayers, written words, breath prayers, hymns... Though there are times, I can't even find the right words to say. And so what I do is to just close my eyes, then there silent tears roll on my cheeks but I know my Spirit will speak for me I want more of You and less of me I believe You are carrying me on this troubled path Never ever You will let me go Or never ever You will forsake me I trust You know me more than myself My past, present and my future You knew before I ever began to walk I believe You are holding me in Your palms You are fully in control of the events My win is our joint victory Hard-pressed because of the circumstances but I believe You will not give me these not because You see me a probable failure rather You gave this to me because I can... Together with You, I can and I will We will win. We will win. Despite these pains and tears I trust someday when I'll be with You You will smile at me and tell me I did well on the task You gave me And I pass, You will welcome me then Into Your loving arms where there are no more tears where there are no more pains where there are no more sicknesses where there are no more sufferings only health and joy... _____________________________________________________ O.E. Must you mileage chalk up in free verse speed way

For Kim Patrice Nunez*, with hope

Must you mileage chalk up in free verse speed way
Let your wheels skid by letting loose grip on wheel
Free verse range’s for marksmen trained on rondolet*
Dipodic foot pantun villanelle dactyl

Cut their teeth on the slippery run-on-line
Roll their anaepest tongue round limerick rhyme
Do not a ballad begin with aubade fine
Nor drive straight past end-stopped line’s feminine rhyme

Such as painters’ coprophilia canvasses
Hide chance ironic hidden ghostly faces
Cubist abstract surrealist morasses
Whose apprenticeships lead to trumping aces

Far too many poets love the sound of words
Yet shirk bardic tasks speeding on twisted roads

     * Nunez: Sorry, no tilde over the “n” on my Mac.
•	rondolet: French pronunciation rhymes with “way”.

Those who worship
Those who praise
Day by day and night by night
Icons glorify their homes and holy sites
Their love for you in symbols up for show

They sing of your joy
They praise your glory
As they walk by the poor
Oh that’s another story

Their hearts are devoted
To the love of above
Yet they forget those beside them
Whom require our compassions
Sadly this kindness is so out of fashion

It selfish that happiness comes from looking above
When contentment of faith gives you a shove
Hey you who worship the gods up beyond
The gods are ashamed to be the idols of love

They ask you not to speak of the heavens
Or Jesus or saviors, or holiest of ghosts
If you truly wish to show your devotion
Stop all this heavenly commotion

Kiss your wife or husband at night
Invite your neighbor for a feast to delight
Give the poor man a blanket for the cold
Forgive the thief who stole some of your gold

Why every single day of you r life
Ask how you can make a fellow man more nice
A smile a hug, a compassionate ear
Talk against war and take away fear

It’s not by your praise of the lord above
That he will open you doors up in the heavens
The good lord is wise and sees your intention
So forgive your enemies and make them your friends
For this the lord will love you until your earthly end

The sky is not the same.
When I don't see her eyes and her smile it starts to rain.

Please God tell me your Angel is okay.
I don't know what to do if she goes astray.

Please guide your Angel back to me.
I miss the sweet words of her melody.

Show me she has not departed from us,
and will promise not to fuss.

Give me a sign or a hint of her existence.
Let me know that she is in no need for assistance.

If you do I shall promise never again to be distant.

“An Artist's Prayer"
By Rachel Heffington

I've seen the Master Artist's brush
In deer so quiet, dusky-shy,
I've seen His charcoal pencil trace
A tree against the evening sky.
His watercolors have I glimpsed
In fragile petals of a rose.
A pastel masterpiece I view
Each time a day is at its close.
I've seen His sculpture in the way
The waves conform the rippling sand,
So Lord, please take this amatuer
And guide my ever-blundering hand!

"Lord" I did my time on earth
I protected this life of yours
So many times I wanted to end it
But I never broke your laws

You have never forsaken me
So I hold on and kept my faith
And even when you know I was sinner
You still never differentiate

When she shattered my heart
I pray to you to ease my pain
And you kept me breathing
When you know I couldn't live again

"Please lord" if I did any good deeds
Please answer my final prayer
And please put me out of my misery
Please don’t ask me to live with out her

I can’t explain it lord, I really can’t
But I love her more than I love my life
And it hurts so much when I miss her
I’m dying just trying to survive

Just take me home lord
Please have mercy on my soul
I am nothing without her
And I’m so lonely in the world

And my mind is losing control
And I can’t hold back my emotion
And my tears keeps flowing
Like a river to the ocean

I keep hearing her voice in my head
And it’s driving my crazy
Because she is talking
But she is not talking to me

She is somewhere far
And standing I’m right here
I prayer to you and I cried
Now I think that you just don’t care

And I give faith every chance
And I kept my blood warm
I put my head down
Grind my teeth and Face the storm

While the bleeding in my heart
Keeps over flowing like a well
God please close my eyes
And my life has become a living hell

I did my deeds " lord
Now please take me home
I can’t live without her
And just don’t want to live alone

She is the only woman
That will ever enter my heart
And the hurting is unbearable
When we are so far apart

So I don’t even want to try
There is no use to
Please reach out your hands "lord
And take me home to you

This is my final prayer
I accept my faith
But" lord" please guide her to heaven
And just drop my off by hell’s gate

I feel like my nights is getting colder...
There's a lot of weight on my shoulders....
So much pain that I can't take....
So many smiles that I try to fake...
Living in a world with black walls....
Walk a little then fall in deep holes....
Try to reach high to see the light...
But there's no strength left to fight...
Use a pray for one rain drop....
Wishing to go back in time or make it stop....
Drowning pictures with my salty tears....
Starting a new life and throwing all of my life years....
All what I do is fantasize....
So I can believe that I'm a live....
I feel problems cutting my throat...
And darkness is getting over my thoughts...
I'm paralyzed and I can't make a sound....
I'm in a place that no one can find....
So I go back to god and pray....
Cause he knows what's inside with no words to say...
Maybe god will wash my sins....
And maybe my tragedy soon will ends....

Stay with me near, O God.
This night is dark,
Yours, my day grows colder, still.
O' god the little spark you lent to me, my courage
By your grace it ebbs from me'.
Today this day is long, my soul belongs to thee.
Red, to no one else, stay with me God.
Here when I am naught but weak.
You made me stronger still.
Stilled when I, again until it dies.

He answered heard

Patience, I am coming near.
Do you hear the marching of their feet?
So many trapped in thought, will you grow meek?
Inside out the great divide none but I, may hide.
The many secrets of thine brilliant eyes.
Bright light the stars you feel my warmth upon your face,
As I come near you stilled, don't cry.
Don't fear the face of whom he is, then said, I am.

Your Whisper Still

This little spark I am your gem by grace was lent to me.
Freely given back by me, to you.
You give again to some one else in need,
'Perhaps to they, some other child.
I can hear the great black horse it's hooves sound near'!
Yours is the face, I lived to fear to be, I see, the coming of the lord.
A world in need and now again I sleep once more until.

No matter what seems to be important in my life

Give me wisdom and teach me to love

Like the sound of the wind, I hear the music

Angels came out of an endless space

As rainbow colors they surround me

An energy that vibrates around the body

Angels are so much more than faith

They are here to help us in difficult situations

   Flying around wondering why

   A guardian angel

One day they will be real

   My hopes and dreams

A empty face, dirty and dried tears on his cheeks
Eyes that have already experienced too much
A boy of 5 years folds his hands so small
and hope his prayer to heaven will reach
Life is so cruel and he need a friend -
My mother and my father ... I do not know where
My home in ruins ... bombs have destroyed it
So heavenly father ... can you hold my hand
Hold around my little body ...
                   Comfort me
                            Love me
I'm only 5 years old and so scared

     Amen

The beauty from within overshadows
my brokenness
A voice of hope spoke unto my hopelessness
one hopeless rainy night, as my tears
merged with the raindrops
See, I had to take that walk
The soothing of the rain eased my pain, as
comfort fell upon me in the midst of
my prayer

My little poem/prayer for the people in the Philippines - and may god truly bless you all. And protect you all. Amen.

A PRAYER FOR THE PHILIPPINES

I say this prayer for the
Philippines,
I wish you good health -
and sweet dreams.
The typhoon will pass
and never return,
I see the people run -
trying to be stern.

God bless these people -
and their country,
Feed them all when
they are hungry.
Keep them from harm
and help them to live,
Begone you typhoon -
we will forgive.

Our country is strong,
that is true,
But we welcome your
help - even so few.
We will survive - that
we will,
But all we want - is to
escape the chill.

Lord, God, almighty,
please help them now,
Protect them - and help
them - please help
somehow.
They will survive - in
their means,
Typhoon, now - leave
the Philippines.

Shelter they seek -
from the wind and the
rain,
Taking comfort and
chatting - while trees,
they are slain.
Staying cheerful - as
best they do;
Always remember, God
does rightly loves you.

A LIFETIME IS NEVER ENOUGH Teach me how to thank you, Oh God... __________________ Do I need to choose carefully my words Oh God when all that I want to do is to kneel down, clasp my two hands, close my eyes and pray? Do I need to think of exciting words Oh God just to utter my every running thoughts: from creeping vines of rejection or immediately you'll ease my budding petals of tears? ----------------------------------------- I am very grateful that I do not need to do these for You are always there to reassure me, telling me, You know me all. Powerful and marvelous, ever faithful to answer my every call. Never too late. Never too soon. The timing is perfect. Never wrong. I love You my Father God from the first smile of sunshine in my life to the waking-glory of evening skies where upon soft pillows, I'll rest my head from a long day of work. I am blessed that You planned it all for me. Trials You have sent, they bend and challenged me but also they have molded and polished my individuality. They made me cry and sometimes broke my heart but I thank You for they have been my footstools. Footstools for me to reach where I am now, they pushed me harder, to run further, dream bigger, embrace the world a bit better, I growing more and more... Prettier than pink, fresher than green, brighter than gold, happier than yellow, deeper than red.... No other words other than, I love you and I thank you.. I know a lifetime of these is never enough to show my appreciation... but today and always, I welcome You to take control of my life, I surrender to you every plan I want to pursue I pray that You allow to happen the ones that will kindle Your grin... Hear Father God this song of my heart How wonderful, wonderful thou Art Divine and ever rich in mercy You showed to me real charity I refuse to be shaken Nor I will not be moved Amidst trials, I will stand through Knowing You will come, soon and true... You are my rock to whom I shall stand No weapons can stop me to walk on Ever since You breathe life to me You made me already victorious... Hear Father God this song of my heart How wonderful, wonderful thou Art Holy Holy is Your Name Forever, Forever this I exclaim! _____________________________________________________ O.E. The ray hiding in pRAYer like a cloud,

Bridging my hands in prayer,

With the heart of the God,

My prayer,

Walked along with me like a shadow since my school days,

My prayer,

To make me a world poet,

Realized,

My prayer,

To read my poems-

Rukaiya,My grand daughter,

To realize,

She began to go to school,

Now,

Carrying her bag on her back full of dreams,

She'll begin to learn A for Apple and learn all the people in my poems!

Peace surrounds me on this day in May as I let destiny have it's own way I smile down on whom I am made grandly by all my yesterdays I will live again and all my hopes and dreams shall not shatter I am destiny's lost prodigal child, May has been a source of pain for me Seeming to harm me with it's innocent days hidden in coy smiles, yes it lied many times but not today, the day after yesterday beginning all my tomorrows We can not always live in the growing fields of flowers picking them and hanging them up to dry somehow in making something beautiful we forgot them and they did not dry, yet died We can not always hold onto our flowers some do not fare well to the process of living dry so today is not tomorrow nor yesterday but it will always be lost amongst some field of flowers No garden to train, yet sheer joy in what is natural for miles as far as the eye can see it is spring and I pat my body down, I lived through the night yes, I am alive, and did not die, as they live their destiny Yet, my flowers have no scent, and not many want them , but what glory can be found in the ordinary flower? the garden of no surprise with many needs to thrive, none, for there is nothing grander than a flower growing in fields wild Next year, it will spread it's seeds in the wind and prosper so much grander it will be each year there after, yes, growing wilder and my prayer is no one will cut them down or poison them ever-after yet someone will love the flowers growing wild tomorrow and the day after May they become a heart's desire, and glory will forever remain in those alive, and wild but never dried, or tamed, for how can we say nice things about something, we set aside to wither and die, in shame and pain, that should always be allowed to grow wilder, to wither and die not tomorrow or the day after
will edit when I get back home. SORRY GUYS!

All I hear are sirens echoing off tall buildings; a drunk man ranting, a prostitute looking for her next trick, a drug addict looking for his next fix. Young teenage kids who seem to have just learned the art of curse. A young couple fist fighting in the streets---more sirens. A homeless man pan-handling, picking up cigarette butts and smoking a hole into his neck, gum pushed deeper into concrete marked blacker with every step. All I hear are sirens and I say a little prayer for the person in the back. Trains and boats chiming in the distance, a stray cat limping into an unknown existence...must be nice to have nine lives! Yet, all I hear are sirens in this concrete urban forest, where trees are replaced with buildings and cars are the only waves I hear, street lights in place of the stars, sirens in place of the wind.

I close my paper eyelids tight, i can hear in this concrete urban forest of man-nature, for a glimpse, a stolen second in time, the sound of Mother Nature...she still sings and she's crying. She's crying for the people in the back of all those sirens. She cries for her bush the drunk man urinated on; the puddle of blood collecting on her blades of grass that a young man drew from his womans lips. She cries for her branch the teenage kids snapped for fun. She's crying - Mother Nature - is crying, because man - nature takes her place. In this concrete urban forest...all I hear are sirens and I close my paper eyes; i try to reach out and steal the tear off of - Mother Nature's - face. All I hear are sirens and im saddened, man-nature takes her place.

Oh dear kind Lord, I beg you and, when on my knees to pray, I need a little helping hand to guide me through this day. I have to face a motley band who can’t think what to say. I give them all the guff and gen to help them understand. The work is very simple when they’re organised and planned. And yet their fumbling specimen look strictly second hand. I guide them all, the usual way, to seek some homonym. To no avail, day after day, their efforts still look grim. Oh please may I confess and say; “I find them very dim!” ~ For Anne's "Confessions" Competition.

The eye,a sign the
unwise can't comprehend
  Forged from the world's
origin,an
illumination in darkened
minds,for the
enlightened ones like
Leonardo da Vinci,Isaac
Newton,John Milton....etc.
   The eye is a tree
with many branches like
Priory of Scion,Knight
templars,I.O.G.T,United
Nations,Masonic
Lodge,Music industry,
Politics,global economy,
etc
stretching beyond
human imaginations-felt
in all corners of earth.
  The world is clothed
through wisdom from
above.
   The eye,all seeing
sign,an invincible
emblem of power and
riches to the lion hearted
and loyal souls.
A seat of influence and
fame.
  Creating the social order
through men of power....
  Some see it as a
curse,others a blessing.
I feel it,the great eye is
everywhere watching
you!

Stand up and shake;
Feel the rhythm in your heart.
Ignite those pants;
We get up and dance.
God on our mind,
Eternity in our souls;
Feel the chills of those bones.
It's the hope.
Open those closed doors:
Into Heaven we go,
Welcomed and forgiven.
Here is the love;
Let's dance!

I call it a blessing from above
And I know everyone wants this to have
Everyone is looking for it
But only few can found it

I'm lucky I'm one of that few
And I've been blessed to found true love in you
It's like a dream came true
To be loved by the guy I loved too

To you,I felt the undefined happiness
For me,for all the guys you are the best!
And I want you to stay for the rest of my life
Coz' I really need someone like you in my life

I consider you as a blessing sweetheart
So I give to you my sincere HEART
I love you forever
And I hope that God will guide us to be together..forever

I have good news! My husband Michael was able to come home from the hospital in time for his 71st birthday August 9th. He is doing better and lost 60 lbs., 40 of which was water, in the hospital. Had he waited a week longer he would have died doctors said. He is slowly recovering. I know that all your prayers help so much and I am very grateful to all of you for your prayers. Thank you so much for all your good thoughts and prayers. Love, Connie

I would like to ask for your prayers and good thoughts for my
husband Michael. He has been in the hospital for a week and
why I have not replied to all your wonderful comments on my
poetry or commented on yours. Thank you all for your kindness.

My husband’s heart is only beating at 20% of its capacity.
He may not make it home from the hospital where he wants to
be. I have great faith in prayer and I know that it will help.
My daughter and I will be going to see him as soon as she gets
off work and we will be doing reiki on him (touch healing).
Thank you all for your support and your prayers.
Love and Blessings, Connie

Sometimes things are up,
And sometimes they are down,
Sometimes black is white,
And sometimes it is brown.
All the rivers flowing,
Back to the sacred sea,
All the monkeys climbing,
Up the very same tree.
You think you know a lot,
Think you know it all,
But the autumn leaves are falling,
At the north wind's lonely call.
The thinking of the meaning,
The reasons lost and gone,
At last the place is ready,
A vacant holy throne.
The emptiness that fill you,
Fills you from inside,
Is the treasure you are holding,
The bridegroom's holy bride.
And now the north wind's blowing,
Blowing down the Way,
And now we sit here waiting,
For the bridegroom's wedding day.

At last time has brought me to this day yet again on another Saturday night things forever will end sweet flowers with petals in need For me it is nothing more than a day my life will begin the pain I feel will forever remain yet to others it is merely a Saturday Here I stand at the path of yesterday and today for tomorrow there will be nothing more to say in so many demanding ways I thank God it is Saturday The last day in a week seen as play but as for me it is such a lonesome day tomorrow is day number one the day life begins has yet begun Peace floods me in my solace this day knowing it is final, done, ended, this 5th day in May the day I was finally told to give up and walk away I am no longer trapped by my fears or waiting for he to cause me pain I am the one who won on this Saturday At last I do not care to be played or hurt to the extreme, a lovers old tired game I want to thank you for moving on to another's sweet way This will forever be known as Red's blessed Saturday and with this release back into the wild game I find my heart pure for those locked deeply away thank you for letting me be and not trying to keep hurting me SATURDAY is officially my lucky day! enjoy the date that you made, love her deeply, cherish her face for I will forever remain ever-so grateful for this Saturday To you both I thank you, and send a prayer of passionate love your way! At last I can be happy all because of one Saturday in May! To me a new anniversary I have now made, with God's amazing grace.

A child is born, a great joy in life
The child has a proud mother and father
The baby is expected and loved long before it was born
At the crib they admire the small child
Tears are flooded with pride and love
They stand there with diamonds in their eyes
and say a prayer for the newborn happiness
Everything is perfect, welcome to our little earth
We would always love you and take care of you

In the dream world where reality becomes a fantasy
And fantasy becomes reality.

The impossible is made possible and death becomes no threat. Mountains turn to a plain ground and are surmountable.

In the dream world I can do the impossible and see the invincible. I can spread my wings, soar and fly through the clouds reaching the altitude of my fortune and destiny.

In the dream world I am unstoppable and unquestionable, conquering all my adversaries. The treasures of this world are at my disposal, kings and kingdoms are my subjects.

In the dream world wishes don’t count but choices are made. That is why I have made the choice to have you as mine forever. In my dream world where there is no pain but gain, no distress but fortress, no cross but crown.
