An Ode to Nothing

Ah, nothing.
So glorious and divine,
As if it doesn’t exist.

My friend, here we are,
You and me to be,
An adventure awaits us.

Here and there nothing lays about,
Everything’s gone and disappeared,
No words to be said,
No good nor bad, just emptiness.

My friend, here we are,
You and me to be,
We are who we are,
We are nothing,
As if we don’t exist.

An Ode To My Beloved

I just wanted to let you know
That I have this love for you...
Although I'm not fast to show
For you, there's nothing I wouldn't do
And I can't control this love
No matter what I try to do...

While I know our lives are separating
Which has got me pretty blue
I just want you to know
How much I love you...

Because I was blinded by shyness
And now my heart's feeling rugged
So this here's An Ode To My Beloved

Oh how I still see you every night in my mind
You're the best girl I feel I'll ever find
And when my eyes would fall upon your smile
My heart would be put on trial
And so if nothing else, I want to let you know
That I'll always love you, that my hearts beat
For you, won't ever slow...

Because I was blinded by shyness
And now my heart's feeling rugged
So this here's An Ode To My Beloved

So I wish you happiness beyond compare
And sorry for the times I couldn't help but stare
Caring, passionate, smart, and loving
From my heart, to you, I'll never be shoving

You will always be in my heart
No matter where we go, how far we drift apart...

Goodbye My Love...

Farewell my child

At Gateway yin

Long sham temple

Pink laced Taipei doll

 Sealed Carmine red lips

Chiseled etched

Fine porcelain

From the four

Corners horn

Erected during

Dragon tail rains

Swept gale winds

Funnel golden sand

Through pearly whites

That smile no more

Slighting the whitest Pearl

Ever Beautiful

Lifeless love soul

Dress eroded salty seas

Passages are lingering..

My very nice poem

Linky is really cool
He teaches at a school

Linky has swag
but he does not brag

Linky is the best
So we do well on the test

A Drop Of Tear From My Master

In the mournful days of human life,
No thing is to last to the last,
The cheerful ray that lightens our day,
No sooner shall it turn its back and darken our days.

I, without any fear I dare,
I dare to spill the beans of deadly life,
No thing is so certain, but death!
So is the bitter truth of living life.

We live as if we never are to die,
We enjoy the joy as if there’s no word as Grief,
We depart with the loved ones with a hope to meet again,
Act as if we are so sure to rule over one’s breath.

But now, to those who knows and dares,
To face and accept my words,
shall live his life creating a bright moment,
At which everyone shall think back and drop tears of joy.

And I am to drop my tears of joy soon,
Having knowing you, I consider not luck but fate,
Having learnt from you, I consider not gain but bless,
So I now pray before you..

May I get to see the light that enlightened me again,
but If I ever fail to save my final breath before anyone,
So sure I am, My words shall succeed to bring a tear ,
A tear from you, A tear of memory, A tear of joy.
The joy which we once ruled as one…..

Solitude: To Yoda, An Ode

Green bark a prism creates,
Feel the pull of earth, you must.

Rotates, a slime of endless hates,
Can hold me not, this world’s crust.

Friendship’s ties, isolation Deflates,
Succumbs, my spaceship, to bitter rust.

Mist, my soul forever permeates,
Lift-off, booms the rocket’s thrust.

My spirit when light returns, elates,
Swamps swell, swallowed hope’s swirling dust.

Trapped, I am, until student from fate
Arrives to learn; Cloud City or bust.

Broken waif

 Tune weavers sigh and sigh

 The unblinking eye

Embroider thoughts

Tree line Groves

Fingered love prints

Hearts unfold

Cold and broken

Tattered and yellow

Wistful carousel

Going round round and around

As surely my heart goes...

Ode to Humphrey

The"tail" I have to tell, starts off really sad.
My sweet doggie Murphy died and my heart, it hurt so bad.
Until one day in early spring, I got a call that made my heart sing!
There were some puppies born in Waco, the daddy -Jasper, and mommy- Juneau.
Four little boys, three little girls. But the picture of one boy, made my heart twirl!
So I waited for a week or two, to meet my little puppy-oh so new!
I named him Humphrey, such a handsome boy! He has brought laughter back and oh what a joy! He's super cute, and very smart. Many would say, he's a work of art!
He's learning new tricks, and how to potty outside. So many rules to learn and abide!
Humphrey is growing so quickly, the puppy breath will soon disappear. He will be an adult in less than a year! Every stage of his life is a blessing from above. I guess that's the true meaning of what we call "puppy love".

To Death

Alas! We meet again!
We held fist against each other back then,
But once more now I see you,
And I am more than ready too.

Conceding to you my life,
For this conflict cannot be ceased by strife,
You are with the Almighty Divine,
And I thank you for the gift of extended Time.

Alas! My friend depart with me,
Guide me and give me the chance to be free,
Free from the clutches of life and its reality,
Grant me the feeling of eternal glee.

To my friends I say to you all,
Do not see my death as my own downfall,
For I am happy with my old friend who visits me now and then,
Let him do as he pleases for this is the fate of all men.

How sad it is, unbelievable but true
Yes, heroes too do die
Its true death is a reality
Since birth marks the beginning of a man
So death comes to end the existence of man

Unbelievable but true
Death is a reality though hard to accept
We say why him? We are correct to ask many questions
The simple answer is yes, heroes too do die
Yes, I know you will say not in this manner
But I tell you; heroes always go beyond our expectations
Like every other hero he was extra-ordinary in all aspects
Thus, the news of a fallen hero
How thunderous it sounds
Oh! What a great lost to our nation and future generations
We now live in total regrets and desolation
For one we once loved so much is no more
To this end, we say to God be the Glory.
Daddy, may your peaceful and gentle soul Rest in Perfect Peace.

I love you, and my love to you everybody have known well
I don’t know how I would bear your eternal farewell
Your perfume in my noise I still can smell
And no body I could about my anguish to tell
I could only cry and your name to yell
Your love in my heart forever will dwell
I promised you not to cry, but a warm, silent tear I felt on my cheek
I don’t ask anything, but your coming back to me now I seek
You’re very far going
To get you back it’s not possible doing
But not to quit your love I’ve taken an oath
Since separation we can’t bear both
In my life I still need you but you vanished
Living without you tortures, and me punished
I don’t know how another time to love
But the only thing I know is that you’re in the sky above
A very deep fire tortures inside, a stove
That burnt the meaning of life in me and I become a lost dove
Stumbling in the clouds with two broken wings
Between life and death my soul swings
I used to see your face every morning
And now I’m dying everyday in your mourning

History In A Black Robe

Waves of anticipated distance- cheerfulness and goodwill reasons to part quite enormous reflected in displayed emotions long hugs, passionate waves, incomplete smiles and contact exchanges. Queues and checkpoints, controls and duty free sales all activities winding up in a goodbye From the departure lounge, mothers with their kids walk fathers with uptight faces already anticipating the next business moves children in mental freedom roam and play singles, so direct in focus to the flight entry’s aisle unfortunately it’ll be an irreversible one and an exit with a permanent stamp. A calamity not even the tenders of coincidence anticipated a disaster totally human in occurrence forcing the Germanwings to get broken by a hand unwilling to perish alone. Exposure wasn’t enough to nurture a sense of humanity education was weak to pump water on a soil of love a hundred and fifty lives given to hades without cause or reason, just on a platter of Gold a well calculated crime beats the justification of a psychiatric malfunction resulting to an all-lose situation broken wings, lost lives and broken hearts as once again, history stands still in black robes for us all to say goodbye our friends and adieu to our beloved children

The song of the Fair Maiden

When lost in the Aegean Sea, I heard a song afar from my sails;
Blinded by the fogs, I sail to the direction of that voice.
Guided by the sweet voice and arouse by the melody, I followed the path of which I knew not,
And found myself drifting ashore a foreign land.
Haul by the passing mist; I saw a hill that rose above the lands,
My ship was in the middle of the two great hills that looked down and over the shores.
I looked above and saw no clouds, just the blue skies; I could still hear her voice
The wind blew ever so gently as I move my rudder,
That song can still be heard, yet I know not where she is?
         I looked to find that voice that eludes me, that called me;
But, yet, I found nothing, saw no one.
She sang a sadden song, of lost love, but lost love I knew not?
I am a stranger, afar my abode, a stranger lost in the midst of seas.
Hold and steadfast, for my heart feels allured by the maiden song,
Yes...though my heart be sadden by her song, her voice drifts my soul across the Styx.
God makes all things beautiful; all things have purpose, and is her song,
Whether it be joy or sorrows, her song, is the song of a broken heart.
That took hold my empty vessel, and filled it with joy,
Though I never thought song of sorrow can be taken for a joy.
I sailed far and afar from the shores, and saw the hills moved further away.
I could still hear her song, I looked back and saw her, a fair maiden.
God's grace that showed me, a spirit of a woman, that took my heart and broke it.
Her skin as white as snow, her deep blue eyes that stared into my soul,
her hair long and gold as that of a golden fleece.
She a ghost of the past, singing to guide her lover back into her bosoms
And her lips afar from mine. At last! it was not for me.
A strong wind that force my eyes shut and bent my knees.
As I stood up and saw no more, I heard not her song, aye, neither her voice.
She was gone with the wind.
The song of the fair maiden still resonates in mine heart as I sail a distant shores.
Even if death approaches me and take'th my life,
My words of praises for her beauty will live on forever.

Your gone, I greive

Together since forever, as frineds
Nothing could ever seperate us in life
We went thru some rough times
We enjoyed the good times, laughing
You stood beside me, protected me
We picked each other up, dusted off the dirt
When the other had fallen in bad times
No subject we could not talk about
Even our love lifes were open to the other
We endured in friendship when others didn't
We were best friends when others said impossiable
You left me behind when you died
Greiving for such a loss of friendship
I know I will never find one as great
I cling to your memory to help me go on
I honor you my friend, my staunchest supporter
You will live forever in my heart.

Salute to the ode of old
Be wary of the ghosts it leaves
The remnant and seeds of its wake

Salute to the whore of kings
Its corpse and stench reeks still
The wise and deep court still

Salute to the living dead
Frail but rears its head
With words than never bend

Salute, I say, Ode
For yonder when I die
In spite of the odium I hold
You’d still be lying there

Ode to an Arborculturalist

Why that no good little birch
I think I alder leaf her
My aspens in the dirt
Don’t you know I’m not that poplar
I damn near choked on a little oak
And though I tried I am not maple
Now the branches are all broke
and the limbs are so unstable
I could go against the grain
But I’d hate to needle yew
So I guess I’ll cedar later
And bough out fir the one that’s true
Can’t see the forest for the trees
Can’t tell just when the root will rot
You know I think its elm diseased
And I can do with out the knots
Well now it’s really got me stumped
Just when I should have sawed right through it
And it’s too late to pack my trunk
Or perhaps I just out grew it
I could go against the grain
But I’d hate to needle yew
So I guess I’ll cedar later
And bough out fir the one that’s true
Some trees grow up in a grove
Others make a stand alone
But there ain’t no peach with out a pit
And there ain’t no pine with out a cone

I’m sure the heart wood ain’t no good
So I won’t go out on a limb
But when a tree is being felled
I wish that someone would cry timber
I just don’t think that I’ll ever see
A poem lovely as a tree
So I won’t Beech and I won’t Pine
I’ll just remind you one more time

I could go against the grain
But I’d hate to needle yew
So I guess I’ll cedar later
If you were sap then you’d run too

Take time

I dont know where to start
I dont even know what to say
I even dont know how to put these words in a phrase
Yet one thins is for sure, our friendship is made not by accidents but by choice we made and faith.

Cheers to the night that we are one and for mornings what we are not in bind
Holy ghost filled our holes and understanding for each one is made from time to time.

Respect we have for each one cannot be answered nor questioned by anyone
Coz we find ourselves before we bind and share happiness, sorrows and everyhing under the sun.

Backhanded compliment always surrounds us from time to time
Yet we care not for we admit that sometimes, somehow, our friends knows us more even before time.

So thank you from me and for everybody, for sharing joy and pain to where we stand.

Ode To Thee

I cannot say forget me
For that will never fly
like birds without wings
Take my soul from your eyes

I cannot say forgive me
For I am not sure of my sin
I take your fair heart with a fare start and balance it on the wind.

the breath that is left
inside my heaving chest
is meant for the exultation of you.

And all that i am in spirit, on land
is spent in the loving of you.
For love as it is, as rare and as cleansed
is not a forlorn sensation.

I cannot say this is the only way,
but the direction I've paved is without the pace I know.
And the love that exists refuses to relent, like the falling snow.

The thatch up higher
on the P. O. roof
a touch of home
as not aloof!

I estimate my grain of salt
not of default
what e'er is left
within the vault!

The stamp, still cheap
for all the business worth,
a sentinel of giving
Govee's own gloved reserve!

We lose it so, and then deny
our griping was the reason
not defy
our simple freedom, mails reply!

I bartered not the choice
my family moved
but first had voice
and still conserved, the mailed invoice!

The railroad stood as gain, once here
the building same ~ not premature
an older statute would endure
but P. O.'s regulations pure!

So, if and when, the P. O.'s bust
this small town's future
needing . . . . just
a line or two ~ can still amuse ~

will sure seem empty ~ a recluse!

Note : So Many small towns, losing their little collection stations. Seemed like a
composite of fortune ~ just that small letter, or personal note. Even an unpaid
bill at least got to you, to your own hands. With the composite of money handlers
savings are being trafficked into so many schemes. I loved those old buildings, and
the friendly tellers, from down home. They made America dignified!

Defiant Beauty

A heavy beast,
sluggishly crept
ever onward,
it's coat
a ton of beautiful fur,
wet from the morning dew,

patches of white light
shone out,
reflecting from the fur,
patches of brilliant light
that shone and danced,
upon a creature
who struggled to breathe,
who's every step forward
was a brave act of defiance,
who's eyes could not betray
fear and pain,
but who's heart
was too strong and
too proud to quit without a fight,

in the clearing
heads turned,
vultures landed to stare,
prairie dogs gathered in rows,
not waiting for there chance
but in awe they watched,
this magnificent creatures,
defiant swan song

and you could swear the wind
was no longer howling but singing
and that the chirping of the birds
had joined in chorus,
for just that one moment
the world took notice
and joined in honouring
the last moments
of a creature of such profound beauty,
such defiant sad beauty.

Haste Makes Waste Ode to a Cyclist

No matter what I read
No matter what I said
The listener never stirred in bed
To all he just appeared quite dead
Eyes blank and always open
Not a word from him was spoken
Through tubes the young man would be fed
He never blinked
Just stared ahead
What more about him can be said
Two days ago he was to wed
No safety helmet on his head
His girlfriend held him by the waist
His motorbike zoomed off in haste
At break-neck speed they lost their luck
On the right they passed a truck
So what more can we say today
In this state he'll always stay
His lover now has walked away
So young she'll soon foreget the day
Another guy will soon appear
No longer will she shed a tear

Matters of the Heart

Cancer can take the strongest man,
and bring him to his knees.
Cancer can take the happiest girl,
and crush all her hopes and dreams.

It seems Cancer can take whatever it wants,
what a strong and powerful foe.
But this isn't true with Matters of the Heart,
and I'll tell you how I know..
Cancer can't take away memories ,
of good times that you shared.
Cancer can't take the life she gave to you,
even though hers was not to be spared

Cancer can't the friendship you had,
this is yours forever to keep..
      Cancer Can't take away Love,
for it's a river that runs much to deep..

Cancer can't take all of her
               that's in you.
It's a Matter of the Heart,
     and will always shine through..

The World is Gone

The wind is blowing the dust through the air
The air is toxic and full of filth
All my breaths are tarnished
Hard to breathe and hard to see
The air is poisonous which killed all that is important
A wasteland before me
A desert in plain Hell
The atmosphere slowly diminishes
As my body implodes
The earth is crumbling
Breaking apart in space
I always wondered why
This was something I had to face
Leaving debris all over the place
This world has gone, left without a trace

You are old I am young
You have love I have none.
"Look. Look at those flocks of birds emigrating south!
They’re escaping with regular wing beats, crying farewell."
Tomorrow would be a good day to die
Today a good tomorrow
Dying must be strange, nonsense life is strange
We wait for nothing yet nothing will come
I never hoped you would accept an invitation to my farewell party
We wait for nothing yet nothing will come

Yes, like Veronica Voss

Ode To Gentle Rose

It took years before I even recognized how special you were.
I simply never realized that anything like you ever existed. After my wife informed me of you, I became very fond of you.

In our garden on a former property, we had both thorn                                          and non thorn roses like you.  Of course I picked from both;
but nothing was more pleasant that picking you, my dear.

I only wish that we could have brought all our roses with us when we sold the property, rather than having to start over.
Having lived for five years in our present property, we have yet to own the your variety of roses that never ask for blood.

We were able to take one or two plants with us, but not you. O Gentle Rose, you were my most favored rose variety; but unfortunately, we could not take you with us.
If a person has never picked a rose, chances are that he has never been pricked by a rose thorn.

Picking roses is a lovely chore, but being pricked can leave one with an uncomfortable little sore.
My Gentle Rose, it would be a dream to own a garden filled with the likes of your beauty.

I often think of your gentleness, and I miss your friendly wave.
I tell everyone, if you should come to own such special rose, keep her close. All roses are lovely to me, but none so dear as you, my Gentle Rose.

Farewell Farah

Farwell Farah
Dearest Angel of all
time has passed away
and Death has made his call

You let us in your room that day
you didn't have very long
You showed us what cancer took away
in doing that you were very strong

In your day you gave men
what their eye's desired
What we shared in your life time
was God's gift; and ours

For me it was my teenage years
The years I was permited
To pin up what we called posters
the swimsuit, Farah was in it

Thank you and farewell
