This is for all the mothers,
Who grace this poetry site.
They bring beauty to the world,
With love, peace, and delight.
They have served many meals,
With their compassionate hands.
And regardless of the situation,
Clearly and lovingly, understand.
Their warmth is greatly needed,
With unconditional love.
They’re the lullaby of life;
A gift from God above.
With soothing hands of healing,
Without a loving mother,
There’d be no generations.
They not only birth children,
But beautiful versus and such.
They’re ordinary precious women,
With a caring nurse’s touch.
They’ve kissed many wounds and
Placed band-aids on knees at play.
I lovingly exclaim to you all,
Rejoice, for this is your day.

Touch Me Touch Me I Wanna Feel Your Body!
Touch me touch me
I desire your gentle caress
Feel me, feel me
As I move deep within
Kiss me kiss me
On the belly, all over me
In the dark, in the dark
I desire your sweet soothing words
Your heart beats along with my mine
My love is held by angel’s string
So this is the night
This is the time
I wanna feel your body
I wanna feel your hands
Wrapped around me
As I enter this world
From the darkness to light
Here I am
Touch me hold me
Caress me and hold your breast
I am the creation of your loves delight!
Thank you Momma
For creating another soul!

I am mother (father) sister daughter
Favourite aunt, SELDOM rant
Pan Flute player, dragon slayer
Own nothing pink, at least I think
Teach Sunday school, kids find that cool
I am not to lean, I’m sure you’ve seen
Curly hair, I seldom swear
But if I do, God help you
Sing in a choir, now I’m on fire
Love my dog, I want a blog
I am very kind, at least in my mind
Love good movies, never been much of a sleaze
I just gave you a look inside my book
So for now I take a bow.
I am female
Sorry I just found a fluffy beautiful pink bath robe.

A gentle caring feeling grows with age
always precious heart of gold each and every year
Sings in your love undying devotion holds Heaven on wings
golden treasure the sun shining deep warmness
An angel inside a breath of unconditional kindness
within my mothers voice loving you true forever one song rings

Happy birthday, Mom
I wonder how many years have passed by
Since I gave you my first tenuous smile
Since you steadied my first faltering step
Since the first time I called you "Mommy"
You are the place I came from
You are my first home
You are an angel in human form
Who lives inside my laughter
And crystallized in my every tear drop
I want to thank you
For your heart, faith and hope
For teaching me right from wrong
For your tender care and warm hugs
For all your steadfast love
For filling my days with rainbow lights
For all the times we have shared
For always being there in my time of need
For helping me deal with life's stresses
For helping me accept my defeats
For everything you have done
For you made me a woman I am
One birthday after another
They seem faster each year
I just want you to know that
The years you devoted to me,
You can trust, were worthwhile.
Happy Birthday, Mom.
You are the best Mom a daughter could have.

A cold autumn morning,
new rains have arrived
today not so ordinary
A little girls birthday goes by
she had an accident
she awoke in her bed wet
today she is six, a present she did
A day without the jug cord
would be her birthday wish
Her hope is soon faded,
for there her mother stood,
A birthday beating just begun-
her mothers' way
of a little fun
"you dirty little b!#@h"!
I'm sick of washing your sheets
this will fix you...and fix you good
till you're black and blue
...or till I'll make you bleed"!
Happy Birthday to me...
through aches and tears
I am happy
I survived to date six years
alone in her closet
she'd make this her car
travel to far away happy lands
go shopping for a star
once she bet the jug cord
she collected up the sheets
took her mums' old coal shovel
buried them under the house
darkest corner beneath,
her father gave her sixpence
every time she was dry,
or if she wet, he'd make her wetter
he'd put her in a cold bath
the little girl would trick him,
moving the sheets about
her mother would come in the room
catch the little girl out
the little girl did such things
out of fear she lied
the little girl was in a place
she was trying to survive
she adapted to her father
she adapted to her mother
though difficult it was
it affected everything
looking back the way she was
she changed her life completely
eradicated the fear
her life gets better and better
year after year
her mum and dad to this day
the little girl forgave
she understands the way they were
a woman she has grown
forgiving to her grave
she struggles on her birthday
preferring to enjoy
her spirit accepts what happened
on that day the present

I do not know?
Your Mother and Mine
Tis Every woman
Any children.. anytime
Looks after them
Fixes and gives
them something to eat
Cleans them up...
to smell sweet
helping them to live
guiding their ways
Edifying thier lives
Within these earthly days
Your Mother and Mine
Always spending their time
Taking care of any children..
Giving from within their hearts
So Children can go on living
helping with childs needs
their skinned-up knees
with their broken hearts
Wiping away tears..
helping them cope with fears
grow through the years
As there are many women
Within this world.. Care-giving
Whom is Your Mother.. and Mine
Even some have children of their own
Some are Grandmothers.. Aunts..
Teachers, Preachers, Doctors, Nurses
Any Women.. whom gives tender-love
Even women of the neighborhood tis Mothers
All the women whom tend..
to look after any children
whom go out of their way
bringing compassion with smiles
giving many children.. Love everyday
God's Blessings are giving
within the hearts of many women
Whom choose to be.. for many children
even when they have their own..
These women are tis as I see..
God's Blessings.. of Many Mothers
There are many children
Whom seek so many women out
Whom they choose to call.. them their Mother
Whom shows them Love.. Tenderheartedly giving
For I know.. this without a doubt
For many children come to my house
They.. as All Children are.. Blessings
God gives in many ways.. all women Blessings of Children
Your Mother and Mine
Children say this to me all the time
Motherly Love.. is giving by God above
Happy Mother's Day!!!
To All Women..

When I looked up at you the other night
I saw you coming through the door
Framing it with your amazing smile
steadfast, self assured, a happy man
A happy Dutch life with Irish sea-kissed roots
Not just a European but a world class man
As you stood before me, I felt such pride.
When I think of you, I see my little boy blue
Forever young, blond mop, those winsome sky eyes
my spry child, intelligent, forever questioning
hyperactive, mischievous, a little dare devil
your smile, a mile wide in times of trouble
I see you holding your teddies Ruby and Rupert
Tractors, diggers, broken engines brrrrrrrmm.
Your love of engines, paid off after all
as you shifted gear to driving instruction
For a guy who showed no interest in being a scholar
Now you are the teacher, with a flurry of pupils
I think it works better, this way around.
Your greatest gift is your love for people
Your greatest asset, your winning smile
Keep on living and loving as you do
You view life through a positive lens
Becoming a mother hit me with a new perspective
An appreciation of life, when I gave you yours
Together we grew, and continue to grow
In love and respect, now and forever.

Thank you – Zamreen Zarook
Thank you is a sweet word in the nature,
You may be a guy of adventure,
May be you are a person of agriculture,
What matters is your architecture.
Never forget the people, who guided you,
In no degree neglect who were with you,
Don’t ever overlook a creature, who gave a smile to you,
Because, you will meet them above you.
People forget the past due to selfishness,
They have no time to remember their unawareness,
Society, most of the times behave in awfulness,
They will understand when their lives come in to bitterness.
Be a person to thank and remember,
Don’t consider them as December,
Because, you might need them in November,
So, always be as a good subscriber.

I was told about your retrospect, after that scene, I burst into tears. I learned they came to genuflect like angels and took away your possessions. They dehumanized your progeny like animals. They dragged them as if they wanted to tear. Your progeny toiled just for us to cheer. They (the visitors) hypocritically played the drum expecting your progeny to dance. Your progeny suffered for my emancipation especially when the visitors wanted their nod consolidated. Your bold progeny tried come hell or high water to get it emasculated, but the more they tried, the more it got devastated. They fed your progeny and told them to regurgitate. They forced them with the rod anytime they tried to hesitate. They (the visitors) searched the brave among your progeny and escorted them to the grave. Wherever the deceased are, I pray the creator keeps their souls. You suffered but the battle ended. We thank those who toiled their blood and passed through all holes. We live confidently because of their fight. I couldn't stand the sight when I watched pictographic scenes of the battle. We were discarded but have been found. Today is your day for you were freed this day. Although I am happy, I am sad and I hope you know why. You were freed long ago but as if we have reached an impasse, we can't go. Anytime I think about it, I have no option than to sigh. Your present progeny need to wake up and work relentlessly, for your name should climb higher than I can see. You deserve the world's priority for you suffered immensely. It is unequivocal that your womb is blessed. We see bloody things in your neighbor's houses but we live happily on your compound. Awake present progeny and make your mother proud. You have tried but looking at your mother's grief, it is very minimal............HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY TO ALL GHANIANS

I was just trying to remember the past
trying to remember the good people
and the bad people,
that i came across on my way,
i want you to know
that you are among the good people
that left a good trace in my life,
once again i just want to say thank you
for passing through my life,
is so short but is wonderful
i want you here forever.

It’s a mother-in-law’s right, her prerogative
To ‘drop in’ on her son almost any time,
But a mother-in-law should always be prepared
For almost anything she may find.
So, Mother Cready dropped in unannounced;
But as she approached her son’s front door,
Suddenly it opened. “Ta Da! Do you like my happy dress?”
His young wife stood there in her ‘all in all’…nothing more.
“Oh, my word!” Mother Cready exclaimed with surprise.
“Why are you naked? Are you insane?”
Just as surprised, the young wife pulled her inside.
“Please, Mother Cready…if you’ll just let me explain.
You see, when Mac has had a rough day,
When he’s been under a lot of stress,
Sometimes I meet him at the door
With a smile and a kiss in my happy dress.
It always relaxes him and makes him happy,
Then he makes me very happy too.
It works for Mac and me, Mother Cready;
Maybe it would work for you.”
“We’re too old for such.” scoffed Mother Cready.
“Perhaps if we were young like the two of you.”
But, on her way home, she decided
She was definitely going to try it too.
So, she bathed and put on some nice perfume,
Fixed her make-up and her hair.
She was thinking some very sexy thoughts,
But she had to hurry…no time to spare.
She heard her husband’s car in the driveway;
And as he approached their front door,
She threw it open. “Ta Da! Do you like my happy dress?"
She stood there in her ‘all in all’…nothing more.
She saw a little grimace cross his face,
But that was not the worst.
Then he said, “I appreciate your happy dress, my dear;
But maybe you should have ironed it first.”
ALTERNATE LAST VERSE
“Well…your ‘happy dress’ could use some ironing;
But my birthday suit could use some starch.”
He kissed her. “Bet you and I can work it out.”;
And off to bed they marched.

Compassionate lovely siren
You didn't keep your silence
Words you utter - timeless
To you my greatest reliance
Your love as huge as a giant
As your heart immensely pliant
Needless more to secure a license
Evermore you're my loyal alliance
More than a systematic science
Greater than a credible titan
Guarding me not to be frightened
Always my ways you enlightened
More than these
More than a diamond,
That's how you are 'MA
My dearest Mama
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY.. :)

I hope today brings you lots of fun
With lots of love and kisses galore
From all the children that you bore.
The reddest roses and chocolates too
but most of all I hope you
hear the words ,MUM, I LOVE YOU.

Dedicated and written for my friend, Lisa Giessinger, as a special message from her to her mother, Hazel – about a most memorable day they spent together.
To My Mother Hazel
Thanks for that Memorable Day
This poem is specifically
Being written just for you
I requested it from a friend
For she knows just what to do
That special day we spent together
Is so very memorable for me, I’d say
I want it to be memorable for you too
With a poem written in a rhyming way
We’ve had our ups and downs in life
With probably most of them being down
You raised me to know how life can be
Not easy to cope, with down things all around
Well I’ve stepped up to a new level
To be happy no matter what the hell
Of any negative surroundings to be
I live thankful that my life is all well
That special day started out so bad for me
As I was headed for back injections again
I was really happy you were taking me there
With a comfort feeling knowing we are kin
It seemed like the first time in a very long time
Where we just enjoyed each other that day
You were kind of like that sweet rose
One stops to smell along the way
In this path I have traveled
Through many overgrown weeds
It was refreshing and pleasant this time
With no discussion of what someone needs
We got along together talking and laughing
It gave me such a lasting good impression
We even ate at Don Julio’s afterwards
I sure hope you had just as much fun
I want you to know how much
I appreciate this time we spent together
Making this a most memorable day for me
To truly cherish for always and forever
Now let me tell you, that day did get worse
With everyone putting me down everywhere
You were the rose amongst the trash talkers
It felt good to know my Mom really does care
Even if everything dips to the downside
Within the journeys of my life I may go through
No one could ever take our shared moments away
They’re in my heart forever and I’ll always love you
I had the best time with me and my Mom
If I told the world, that’s what I’d say
So I really want to thank you Mom
For that most memorable day

I was blessed to give birth
To my sweet little girl.
I kissed your fingers and
Toes and cute little nose.
I rocked you and sang
And wiped your tears,
I held you and loved you
All your young years.
Now You're a Mother
And a fine Mother too.
I'm again blessed to help
raise your daughter with you!

My mother, my grandmother before has always held a place in my heart.
My father, and my grandfather before has the same part.
I was young and very active with unwillingness to listen fully to what they had to say.
I had a problem, never could be solved without my parents and grandparents till today.
With patience they all come to my aid when I fall on my face.
With little dishonor I listen to them and what they had to say, I embrace.
Over the years I go to them with no doubt a feeling of no dismay.
Over the years I go to them and they help me solve problems that to me is O.K.
Now I am getting a bit more aware of what had happen to me when I was growing.
Now I remember how the ride was in my beginning: it was a trial of not knowing.
With the guided words of my parents and grandparents I survive through them all.
With it some being a problem that I remember I recall.
My mother and my grandmother always said to be patient and it will be easy to solve.
My father and my grandfather always knew that I would grow and evolve.
I could wonder everyday what if my parents and grandparents was not in my life.
I could just think that would be fatal like a stab with a knife.
With knowledge that they had past on to me of what they had experience.
With their proof of teachings they had past on to me is their self existence.
Over the years I grew with life so full of happiness that was because of my families love.
Over the years it showed me the path that led me to all the above.
Now cherish those words that help me through my troubles in my new family.
Now I listen to my parents healing words of wisdom and except them gladly.

To you whom gave me life,
Rocked and sang, sweet melodies lullabies
By night, and cradled me safe and warm,
Within a mother's loving, and tender embrace.
Taught an awkward child, to take her
First steps, and held me upwards so as not
Devotion's nightmare protector, who always
Made sure the closet door remained closed, and
The bathroom night light was left on, so the
Monsters under the bed could never get me.
Champion of the chocolate chip cookie, never did
You once forget the bare necessities of life,
Such as having icy cold milk in the refrigerator.
Movie queen diva, whom popped the perfect
Kernels of popcorn, and added just the right
Amount of butter, for everyone's picky tastes,
On our annual family nights.
From diapers to tattered blue jeans,
Barbie dolls, and trying on your over sized high
Heels, you never ceased to amaze me.
On every level mother dearest, you
Were always the ultimate super hero to me.
Through hardships heartache, and loves first flirtations,
But no shoulder's comfort, soothed me more
Than she, whom guided this awkward teenager,
Through these hard times of youthful regrets.
A grown woman am I now, raising children of
My own, realizing all the sacrifices you've made,
All in the name of a mother's love.
No ages wrinkles, can take away your true
Beauty, held as a frozen photograph
Within the inner heart of my soul.
She's the dear sweet image of what
I want my children to remember me by.
It's the highest form of flattery,
To emulate, a someone special,
Such as yourself, a woman called mother.

Happy Mothers Day Mom
God granted me life and Mother you brought life into the world,
Mother our life begin together and you lead me through this life,
Mother this makes you as precious as God's finest work,
You are more precious then diamonds, rubies and authentic white pearls.
Mother, I celebrate your life as my Mother for all you've done for me,
Yes all the cooking, washing, sewing, protection and making sure I was okay,
I was seldom late for my morning school bus you did make sure.
Thank you for taking me to church, and for including Sunday school,
And for teaching me the best ways to deal with life with out you,
You thought me God's most important Golden Rules.
And how to apply them to life and others as I got older,
Mom now that your gone I still her you telling me the things I need,
I love you Mom and miss you very much and I know I will be with you again,
With my worm tears of love I send across the Heavens for God to touch on there way to you on this your Mothers Day.

You are the birthplace of motherhood
an eternal wellspring of living waters
the quiet strength and will of a family
a welcome gift of tenderness and love,
You are the keeper of familial dreams
a true graceful light that will ne’er fade
the storyteller, the counselor, the hope
a motherly guide to all mothers unborn,
You are a heaven-sent guardian angel
a sacred temple of cherished memories
the heartening lyrics of a favorite song
a fountain of life’s wisdom personified,
You are a kind smile’s lasting wonder
a thoughtful spirit of undying affection
the blessed serenity of a maternal kiss
a woman of untold wisdom in her eyes,
You are the joy of a comforting lullaby
a matriarch of exquisite grace and style
the wife, mother, and daughter of time
a genuine breath of unconditional love,
You are the delight of a warm embrace
a serenade of heaven bound devotions
the feeling of stillness within a dream
a storyteller of inspired reminiscences,
You are the celebration of womanhood
a moment of everlasting effervescence
the aura of admiration and commitment
a majestic queen of perfect selflessness,
You are the joyfulness forever lingering
deep within the true essence of my soul
the loving legacy of a devoted matriarch
a woman of truth, intuitive and strong,
You are the light of childhood dreams
a precious jewel of maternal kindness
the epitome of humbleness and grace
a beloved mother who is forever loved.

I do not know?
You are my flower
The flower from the island
You make me happy when am sad
You make me laugh when am lonely
When I need company there you are
There you are when I need a friend
Indeed you are my flower
Without a word-without a gesture
You are my flower
You are my flower
You are appreciable and understandable
You are my flower
You are a tree with large pale-pink flower
You are a bird rather like a swallow
You are my flower
Indeed you are my flower
You are my flower.

Within a flicker your life sailed away like the rushing tide upon a purple sea
it carrying you along to be placed by God's side setting your soul free
If only your eyes could tell me of the splendor you now see
and emit your light of purple brilliance so as to ease my sad heart of agony
In silence I lite a purple candle for you knowing forever you are near
my arms reach out to hold your shadow while my eyes are covered and veiled
Your candle starts to dim the melting wax dripping into the shapes of a thousand
consuming my heart of the sadness and deprivation that you are not here
In paradise you now belong as the Angels sing your warrior song
today is your birthday and I know the greatest gift was God calling you home
But as your Mother my heart continues to suffer with grief
as I lay upon my bed with your blanket and savor your lasting scent
Watching your purple candle flicker and glow as it vibrates my lost heart
my love for you Son forever ablaze knowing for only a short while we are apart
Speak softly to me in my dreams while giving me visions of a young child at play
the purple candle continues to burn my sweet child, 'Happy Birthday'.
We miss you Caleb. Happy Birthday

Samia “Happy Mother’s Day”
Mother an angel that I’ve met
Recalling the words that always wept
For as tender as they were
Loved to hear them as you say
Mother you kicked my fear away
Calling on all angels to pray
That your son will be in safe
And his health will ever prevail
Mother you praised me when I failed
You encouraged me when I veiled away
You hailed me in every act I play
You laughed to any joke I say
Mother you held me when I was in pain
You wept that my tears will fade away
You told me that one day I will gain
You stood by me when everyone ran away
Mother you chose to move on and part away
To the new world that is far away
Leaving a child to grow in darken
A man today still searching in vain
Mother I’m writing for you again
Even twenty years can’t keep us away
Even the haven you chose as a stay
My words would reach you as a pray
Mother I wrote you to say
No matter how far you chose as a stay
Your son here on earth would love to say
Happy mother’s Day “My Angel”

My parents taught me the Christian ways.
I was taught to obey what the Bible says.
I was proud of my parents! I really was!
And loved them so much… Just because!
They meant everything to me! I was proud!
Until one day... There appeared “a dark cloud.”
It was like a “darkness” hovered above.
Leaving their marriage empty of needed love!
Though they were together many years.
There were many cracks that soon appeared.
I say a once happy home soon destroyed.
Being with one another…. They no longer enjoyed!
How could this happen! I had wondered…
To see a happy marriage “totally plundered
As sin crept in... And allowed to prevail.
Very soon this marriage simply failed.
May this be a warning for me and you…
That our commitment remains faithful and true!
If your marriage is heading toward separation…
Please seek God for a healing and restoration!
If your planning to have a divorce..
Jesus’ love can put it on the right course!
He can replace the brokenness and hurt within..
And can put your lives back together AGAIN!

I do not know?
From Kindergarten to Graduation,
you've made a lasting impression.
From the good times to the bad,
you've been the greatest mother I could have ever had.
You've been a great inspiration in my life.
A loving mother, and to Dad, a superb wife.
You've helped me keep my head straight,
took off work to watch me at the plate.
As the years go by and my life begins to wind,
your love and advice is one of a kind.
Thanks for showing me the way,
to becoming a man one day.
From playing sports to playing with toys,
no matter what, I will always be your baby boy.
Thank you for everything you've ever done,
I always have been and always will be,
Your Loving Son!
