Full Moon

I went to the doctor one day in June
I just wanted to keep my heart in tune
He had me take off my clothes
Then told me to touch my toes
And then he caused me to howl at the moon

The Moon in Astrology

What has astrology to gain us? The confusion surely must pain us. Just how are you behooved-- Not to mention improved-- By knowing the moon's in Ur-anus?

Miracles Happen To and In June

There once was a gal name of June.
Who wanted to kiss and to spoon.
  She made a big splatter
  falling off a tall ladder.
When she married the man in the moon.

Her wedding of course was in June.
She wanted to marry him soon..
   She started to chatter
   but that didn't matter.
Their life was so much a cartoon.

The man in the moon liked to croon.
He liked to sing songs about June.
   But nothing was sadder
   when he made her madder.
Singing not of "June" but of June.

To get on her good side Old Lune.
Flew June to the moon via balloon.
  But she was much fatter
  and emptied her bladder.
Now he looked like a baboon.
To end this wild tale about June.
Know the man in the moon made her swoon
    He heard her feet patter
    when she mixed cake batter.
Turning into butterfly from cocoon.

The Virgo with Taurus Moon

My Moon is in Taurus, so though
I’m Virgo Sun, you ought to know. . .
There’s a whole lot of soul
In a hot virgin bull;
It’s a combo magnifico!

Moon Pie

two small chimps sitting on a limb
can’t tell which is the her or him
pretending to fight
they do it all night
starting soon as the lights go dim

Staring at the shy pale moon*
I came to realize rather soon
That without you on my side
My sorrow wasn’t able to hide
That bright night of month June!

Moon Picture

Was that a man in the moon
Riding over the dune
Or is it a woman
Perhaps built like a man
Singing a lonely tune

His Trip To The Moon limerick

There once was a boy we called chase-face
he dreamed of reaching outer space.
With this dream in his heart
our family will part
and this boy we never could replace.

We all dreaded that day late in June
when we knew he would fly to the moon.
So a party we had
even though we were sad
as the countdown was scheduled for noon.

Chase couldn't get rid of the grin
or the drool that was right on his chin.
He was laughing so loud
while we stood watching proud.
His journey would finally begin.

The trip was a total success.
Of course, we expected no less.
We've done all we can.
He now is a man
and all that he sees he will bless.

Moon of the Sea of Debussy

Oh I do so love Debussy

And his mystical tides of the sea

And I swoon with the moon

At the sweet Clair de Lune

As its melody so gently sweeps over me.

A Bad Moon

Once again the moon is full
The hoot of an owl I hear
Beware tonight
I may you bite
As a wolf I must appear

Once again the moon is full
A hunger begins to gnaw
Something to go
Is far too slow
Faster will be if it's raw

Once again the moon is full
A victim I quickly find
Fearful is not
Giggles a lot
Others are also unkind

Once again the moon is full
Beneath it I stand alone
Something is wrong
My ears are long
A fluffy tail I have grown

Once again the moon is full
In a mirror now I stare
How can it be?
No wolf I see
Only an big funny hare

Once again the moon is full
In shadows I hide away
For dawn I wait
Accept my fate
I’m having a bad hare day

Ghost Cat

There once was a white cat I knew
Who had feathers; a ghost cat who flew
Through the shimmering streams
Of the moon’s silver beams
Leaving slain doves in the dew

Fat Moon

She blocks out the sun it's as plain as that
A total eclipse with infinite fat
The darkness comes at noon
That's when we see her moon
Her mom has made me as blind as a bat

Man in the Moon

The man in the moon caught a big cold
because the air was caked with green mold.
He made a big sneeze
releasing his cheese
and now he is bright green I am told.

hands over my ZONE to hide my stuff

Tonight, I view the lovely full moon,
near the ocean on a lonely sand dune,
with memories of my only true love,
who is watching me from far above.
My only solace is a haunting tune.

The moon was so drunk
he fell into a gold trunk
from drinking too many shots
and winning the jackpots
until the sun and the stars had sunk !

                     SUN or MOON?

Two drunkards were not aware of morning or evening.
On one corner of sky full yellow disc was shining.
First one was prompt to show ‘Sun is about to set.’
Second one objected ‘Moon is glowing its best.’
Both quarrelled but right answer was totally missing.

On the spot third drunkard was seen to appear.
Both approached to get the correct answer.
First one told, ‘See, Sun is going down.’
Second protested ‘Moon wears golden crown’
Third one listened and tried to make clear
Third replied ‘I am full and going to burp,
but ready to explain you clear and sharp.
I reached this area just today noon
I know neither Mr Sun or Miss Moon
How can I say who is going down or who is rising up?

Driving through town just around noon
All my friends were acting like loons
 Peoples jaw dropped
As they stood at the bus stop
They had just seen a full "moon"

Full Moon Night

Her blind date had arrived right on cue,
her jeans as tight as a cocoon,
stepped into the night,
"ripped" noise what a fright,
exposing her hefty full moon.

Thank God she had brought a sweater,
tied round waist she felt a little better,
till dog came around,
pulled sweater on down,
full mooned ran after the irish setter.

Night Sky

The sky was a blazing dark blue
The stars lit on fire glimmered too
The moon was pure white
But just not too bright
The art of an evening brand new

Man in the Moon

I know there's a man in the moon
He looks down like a lonely cartoon
He flies his night kite
in the dark side of light
Whilst whistling a lunatic tune

There was a madman on the moon,

Got caught in an ecliptic typhoon,

As the moon charmed the sun,

And winked for some fun,

And the loon on a crater, a maroon.

To The Moon And Back

To The Moon And Back

We soared like rockets to the moon
Streaking skies heat as we swoon
Clouds amass at first
Erecting frenzy burst
Back on earth our butterflies croon

The Moon Limerick

The moon shines with its pure delight
As if morning comes surely bright
But the color is red
As if it has bled
There’s an eerie sound, brings it fright
