There has to be a heaven for musicians
A place for old singers to go
Their music still touches our lives
As they did years ago
Ray Charles transcended music type
From country to rock to blues
Ritchie Valens was only seventeen
When his death hit the morning news
Jim Croce sang about Leroy Brown
While Nillson would croon Without You
Janis Joplin would make you rock
And Stevie Ray would make you blue
I still watch old Ozzie and Harriet shows
Just to hear Ricky Nelson sing
Harry Chapin took his last Taxi ride
And Elvis is still the king
John sang of peace and love
While George's guitar would gently weep
Conway's music wasn't Make Believe
I hear their music in my sleep
John Denver's in the Rocky Mountains High
And Del Shannon seeks his Runaway
Rainy Days and Mondays made Karen sigh
While Otis sat On the Dock of the Bay
Jimi Hendrix played the meanest guitar
Roy's voice couldn't get any higher
Bobby Darin searched Beyond the Sea
And Jim Morrison said Light My Fire
There has to be a Heaven for musicians
For all those who have paid their dues
Where the music will live forever
From rock n' roll to rhythm and blues.

We knew , it was if a moment stopped in time
hearing the news before most of the World did
He loved to fly his plane from Colorado to Monterey Bay
He was a avid golfer at Pebble Beach respected

He had loves and passions from many places
deciding to fly low through the overcast red sunset
Not only did he love music and inspire all
He loved his Plane , he will always remain a beautiful Soul

The next day it was confirmed ..all saddened
It was John Denver's plane that went down
Today in Pacific Grove stands the Memorial
So Kiss me and smile for me we will ~
              always in loving memory
OH babe , do we hate you go ~

Enter a storybook tale
Where I can be
The heroine you hail
Lucid dreams of soft reflection
A touch heated with lust and desired protection
A breathe a gasp as we succeed
Join the fairytale with me
Valiant night within dark eyes
the right movement and I make them shine
like moonlight on the steamy hot spring
care to follow for a little dip with me
Trailing like the water at my fingertips
Grasp me around my hips
As close as the breeze on my skin
Whisper lies as I let you in
Lips mumbling up my thighs
bare heart exposed to the sky
fire burning in my veins
Am I a mistress of this lust or simply a slave
Trembling with desire
Take me till we've lost count of the hours
enter this storybook tale
Where I can be the heroine you hail

The Boatman’s Song 5/Many

Where one very rarely finds love, hopes and joy in life
Sometimes, even the noblest souls on earth
Have suffered tortures and pains
Even some have sacrificed their lives in agonies and pains
So that others may see that beam of light

Think again Urveshi think
The ecstasies of the joys and thrills
You have witnessed in the pleasures of
Your dance, music and dwellings
Which no humans can even think of
Would be lost for ever and for ever
And you will also miss the most
Prominent among all
The blessings of heaven to keep you young
And beautiful, without aging for ever and for ever

The charms of youth which you are enjoying here
Would no longer be there on earth
Aging and wrinkles, sorrows and worries would
Evaporate slowly, the glow of your skin and charms
Time would also erode slowly the heart capturing
Beauty of your enchanting eyes and the youthful beauty
Of your rising and falling bosoms
Slowly very slowly your dance steps would miss
The youthful rhythms of your legs
And more slowly your songs will miss
The melody of your tongue and voice

You would also see that your fans here and there
And dear ones too would fly
With the passing of time on earth
Leaving you alone without any one to adore
And no one to praise and to throw even a
Lovely glance on a beauty on decline

The glory of your name and fame
Would get lost with the passing of time
And even the most close to your heart too
Would not stand to console and support you
In the hours of your need and time

Can you imagine Urveshi, such a life?
And such an end of your rejuvenating beauty
And an end of your glorious
Youthful performances of heaven
In the hands of time and mortality on earth,

Here in Heaven you are the queen of
Everyone’s heart
Your ravishing beauty and heavenly youth
And the melody of your songs and dance
Would remain young and evergreen
For ever and for ever
Without ever experiencing, what is an old age
Pains, sufferings and the agonies of departing
From your most dear, near and beloved ones
Which often kills the human hearts
Making them weeping and rolling in tears

The only thing that is in my bong
is my gift of poetry and song.

Drugs are for thugs
that's hell in a nutshell.

I don't smoke

I know that I don't always tell thruth
and that I like to lie.

Stairway of Music to Heaven Fragrance of roses and grass dipped dew Moonlit night Plays a solo of romance; “I will love you tonight” With every note struck thunder rages with spirit off the piano keys, tornado spins out of control with the crescendo coming to a whisper and the music plays on as two lovers climb the black and white keys to heaven. A sense of awe, as emotions of both spirit spin on tiptoes of each step of the keyboard with love caressing them tightly as they take each step flowing so elegantly. Voices tenderly laying their lips on their structure, blessing them with the song of the heart that says I love you.

She said baby I have to go,
I said girl you don't need to go,
Because baby I want you to stay,
'Til the sun rise,
'Til the end of the night,

I said baby I'm feelin you,
And I'm fallin in love with you,
Which is somethin I never thought I would do,
But, I did today,
So girl, Why don't you stay,

Why don't you stay, 4x
'Til the sun rise,
'Til the end of the night,

She said baby I have to leave,
I said girl I don't want you to leave,
My darling please stay with me,
'Til the night end,
Then come back again,

Because baby we have a chance,
For us to have a great romance,
So, girl take my hand and dance,
You don't have to go,
Baby don't go,
Chorus: 3x

'Til the sun rise,
'Til the end of the night,

A Song For You

I want to sing, such a Song for you,
So the sleep may come to you,
When I sing the song for you
The fairies from heaven would come,
To take you softly in dreams.

You know when the fairies come,
The buds of your heart would bloom,
Leaving every clouds behind,
They would take you on their wings
On the silver surface of the Moon.

If the Moon is not there,
They would take you to your stars,
They fairies would tell your stars,
To shine and more shine,
Till your dreams come true.

I want to sing, such a Song for your,
So the sleep may come to you,
When I sing the song for you
The fairies from heaven would come,
To take you softly in dreams.

Do you know when the Moon and stars tells,
The sleep always comes
To rest in your eyes.
These stars tell everything
In their own silent way,
While shining far away in the sky.

I am singing a song for you,
So the sleep may come to you,

                        I Have A God

Woken up by a mellifluous music never heard before,
Made me wonder, was I in the kingdom of Orpheus ?
Or was it the orchestra of heavenly maidens?
I open'd my eyes after honey'd slumber,
Blind'd by sparkling silver and blazing gold
Of a goldsmiths treasure trove.
I walk'd step by step on the cloudy floor
Feeling the weightlessness of my heavy shoulders.
Much had I been overwrought by mortal burden,
And heaved a sigh at this fanciful world.
Above the lands, above the seas,
Above the mountains had I obliviously reached.
In the realms of dreams I smiled,
And swirled my glittery gown.
The gods had been kind for this Elysian ecstasy
Loud shout'd I my gratitude to the Almighty,
If this be divinity I ask for no more
Before me stood my creator in all his luminosity and spoke,
You call'd me child and I your servant be,
No more pain, no more misery,
No more desire, no more passion shall ever feel.
Your soul in my palm will be, your vesture rested on the ground.
Down look you on earth, the towering inferno has turned you to smithereens.
Your love is here,
And here begin we a life afresh.
He point'd his big finger down, once again.
There on earth your treasures lie,
The fray is on and many will die.
For centuries have they fought and for centuries will they continue,
Your abode be here for all times to come,
Fret not you, for I be here.
Spoke I to God,
A dream this were not, for I am sure.
What treasures do I yearn? What passions do I crave?
What pain? What misery you speak of when I your only audience be?
My raptures the world knows not of,
For too entangled is the diseased world,
Of attachments and detachments.
Much to their envy am I filled with pride,
My journey has not ended,
With you by my side it has just newly begun.

Inhalation like a lyric strums my diaphragm
Exhalation like music draws your diagram
The cold wind captures our still frame
I feel your presence spark a flame

I sigh an inaudible note into your heart
Love orchestrating the rhythm and the beat
I whisper a life-giving pulse into your ear
‘May we never part, I’ll always be near’

The blood coursing through our veins
Form a musical choir with our bones
Our souls step to the heat of our drumbeat
Our shadows united into a burning silhouette
We dance beyond the grave into heaven
Because angels love to sing and hate sin
Just on our choreography healing will rise
Because God is a DJ and music answered prayers

A shade tree, the end of a dirt road
in the country, middle of nowhere
the bed of my truck, tailgate swung low
legs hang over the edge
A small pond flanked
by endless fields and blue skies
laying back gazing up
The radio at full volume
through opened windows
singing along and laughing

A few beers,
cold from the ice chest
quenching our thirst
dripping on our skin
feels good on a hot afternoon,
shorts and tank tops
shoes kicked off
wrapped in each other
as the earth pauses
and we are the only ones here

A friendly dare, wide eyes
huge smiles, clothing is removed
as we run naked to the pond
jumping in, splashing,
the cool water is as refreshing
as your eyes staring at me with that grin
and I pull you close and kiss you,
your skin against mine and we are nowhere
and everywhere at the same time

Loving you as cat tails sway
in a warm summer breeze
Seals and Croft play from the stereo,
it couldn’t be more perfect
lost in the passion of your embrace,
feeling the sun caress us,
we are one and this day is ours
as a bull frog croaks his approval
and we both laugh again,
so much in love…
Dressing as the sun sets igniting
the sky in enchanting colors
I kiss you again and tell you I love you,
and you blush like the horizon…
this is our place and as we drive off,
you next to me, resting your head on my shoulder
I take one last glance at our heaven
in the rear view mirror
thinking to myself
we will be back…soon

Passion in D-Major

Feeling, the sensuous brush-
strokes on a canvas,

to a symphonic crescendo,

of our shared heartbeats,

fading between the notes,

feeling your soft body entwined
with mine,

your form bathed in my infinite

our orchestral desire rising,

conducting a shared fusing of

... the music echoing ...

over the precipice,

on the brink of dazzling rainbow

lost in the void,
of an eternal instant,

plunging through the depths of

forever pleading,

for a prolonged,

bouquet of shared time.

When sunrise spreads its beauty
across the waking sky,
morning melodies I hear,
like celestial music in my ear.

God must have an orchestra,
He sends to earth each day.
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
His band of angels play.

Listen to the sounds on earth.
It's His Glory that we hear.
Listen to all earth sing,
the music of the spheres.

When I found my true path
I remember the many wounds
That healed in my heart
And all because I found you.
And in my dream, I could dance
Upon white cotton clouds
In heaven's romance.
With you, no fear I know
Together we are where we belong.

Your love and warmth
Help me get through the days
When heavy storms
And rough trail threatens my faith
And I find that you've carried me all along
Until heaven becomes our home.

As I walked up my path
Found thorn filled, I found the truth,
That deepened the love in my heart
That brought me even closer to you.
And through the tears, in the sweet breeze
Of your loving embrace
I found grace.
With you, no fear I know
Together we are where we belong.

Your love and warmth
Helps me get through the days
When heavy storms
And rough trail threatens my faith
And I find that you've carried me all along
Until heaven becomes our home.

And in my dream, I could dance
Upon white cotton clouds
In heaven's romance.
With you, no fear I know
Together we are where we belong.
And through the tears, in the sweet breeze
Of your loving embrace

With you, no fear I know
Together we are where we belong.
With you, no fear I know
Together we are where we belong.

It was a clear dark night
When your voice was the only in sight,
The many years of childhood,
The "Hip-Hop Hooker,"
was the choice of many tunes,
So know, that in our genre,
We may never forget
How the regulations of the game was maneuvered,
By just 16 bars,
or how we jammed and sang,
Along in our car,
To the many soulful grooves,
This one, Nate Dogg is for you;

There's no heaven above me
and this world's trying to bring me down
Thinking what goes, will come back round
But there seems to be no heaven above me
And the worlds getting ugly
I'm searching for comfort
but your arms, they don't want to hug me
I guess there's no heaven above me

Sitting still in this storm, Calm, and i can't breathe
Running homeless for days and I miss Autumns leaves
Vacant are my tears But i can't breathe
Rain falls from my eyes But i won't leave

Take me to a place Where i can live
Flowers no longer growbecause man can't give
At the bus stop But i won't turn
My patience's fatigued But i won't learn

I believe in me and i believe in you
i believe we hold the truth and it will see us through
Crystals no longer shine for champagne is trust
When it's all said and done, again i'll see your dust

There's no heaven above me
and this world's trying to bring me down
Thinking what goes, will come back round
But there seems to be no heaven above me
And the worlds getting ugly
I'm searching for comfort
but your arms won't hug me
I guess there's no heaven above me

and there seems to be no end in site,
Smile, because there could be"

A sweetly-scented, earthy rain-storm,
she came to me,

thunderously raging with raw emotion,
she came to me,

drenched in the essence of truth,
she came to me,

she touched a chord deep inside,
she strummed away all emptiness,

she came to me,

she comes to me,

a gentle presence filling my life,

she comes to me,

a healing spirit soothing all inner strife.

black and white butterfly's
pasted to the cold glass windowpane
against the grainy image of clouds
but to the butterfly's they are forever sailing the windless world
forever following eachother in such
sweet refrain silent and numb

black and white butterfly's
pasted to the glass wilderness
the urge to give their lives color
the desire to be more than born to be
to see the better world
greener pastures
to be the apple of some young girls eye
to be the happier dream

brief moment
when head above water
the thoughts are clearer
the feelings less fractured
swimming the last mile filled
with sunshine breathing
feels so free
after the nail to the head laughter box
creature image hollow pool
where we have run out of water
while i'm still trying to swim upstream
beat the butterfly's home
while i'm still
silent and numb

Joy's in the air
Paradis beyond the sky
Rejoice o sorrowful earth
Look up and reach for The Lord on high

Break loose your shackles
Stand tall,stand strong,be humble,yet be proud
Turn your hands upward
And reach beyond the clouds

Reach for the heavens
To defeat your woes
Reach for the heavens
Reach with your hearts, your minds, your souls

Reach up with joy and happiness
This could be our last moment
Not ever knowing when or where
You or me will be summon

Rise up and reach for paradise
Do it with prayer,with hope
Never hesitate even for a second
Keep your faith afloat

Reach up higher and higher still
Till you can feel his presense
Even though you can't see him
You can fell his evanescent omnipresense

Never stop believing,never stop reaching
The wrongs we've done in life can be forgiven
Never stop believing,never stop reaching
Never stop hoping,always stay commited.

I will never stop reaching for
You should never stop reaching for
We all should never stop reaching for

Reaching for Love
Reaching for Hope
Reaching for Salvation
Never stop reaching

Never stop reaching fot Heaven

I'm watching Janis Joplin on DVD tonight.
Man, but she could sing the blues, even higher than a kite.

Her eyes look weak and heavy, but her voice is loud and strong.
No secret she was hooked on H, but still could wail a song!

She only wanted peace, and that to her was in the bar.
Singing out her message, but instead became a star.

A free spirit with a genius mind she used to ease the pain.
A talent with a heart too big to carry - caused a strain.

She was wise beyond her years, yet they focused on her past.
A memory she longed to shed, to prove them wrong at last.

Shunned again by her home town, was very hard to take.
Still, she was determined to stay true and not be fake.

The line that most defined her, how ironic, did betray.
"If it feels good do it." Turned against her on that day.

No chemist checked the potency; Her dealer said beware.
Feeling good took cautions place, the needle her last prayer.

My personal tribute to Janis Joplin. To thine own self be true.
