I am a creation of myself
I don't know who I am
I'm this to you and that to him
Hardly more than just a scam
I'd like to be who I'd like to be
If only I could figure
Which of me is the me
I see within the mirror

It's my created courthouse
The jury's reached a verdict
A sentence of familiar course
Against the criminally virgin
Guilty by association
I stand to face my trial
Innocent of all my charges
Accused by my empire

Out of seventy-two wishes
I've got one left
A hunger for escape grows
On an open shelf
Surrounded by my story
I have lost my soul
Upon an open world's edge
And endless and lonely road

It's my created jailhouse
A self-sufficient cell hall
Not a single bar in sight
Just cells of open gray-walls
Imprisoned by my own delusions
In cell one on dead block
With broken bones and dying faith
An executed man begins to walk

Out of seventy-two wishes
I've got one left
A hunger for escape grows
On an open shelf
Surrounded by my story
I have lost my own soul
Upon an open world's edge
And endless and lonely road

It's my created world
It's my created plague
It's my created punishment
For my created hate
It's my created nightmare
In my created sleep
It's my created six foot hole
Which was dug for only me

Impulsive or compulsive

Either way it's not conducive

Living with this disorder

Can't be good for my liver

Obsessions, when do they stop?

Compulsions, when do I stop?

Let me illustrate and reiterate

My demons make me infuriated

To the point, man, I really want to escape this

Live everyday like your last?

These hours go by fast

Trying to obliterate every ounce of the past

Always with the imagery and self coping insanity

That broke me and continues to break me.

Another day, no not another day

I just got out, please let me stay away.

Deep in the earth, a crypt of rock
slumber guarded by casket locked
Lips grope silence ‘ever more
 rasping thought, remembers whispered lore
Outstretched palms the roots do clench
tranquility stilled by festered stench
And eyes, sleep caked, are propped ajar
ignites no life, but collapsed star

Burned blades sigh, Winds’ dying gasp
bones brittle snap within her clasp
A lonesome howl the moon does draw
vigil broken, it twists its maw
Upon an arena of endless stone
the granite gates they’ve passed alone
And entered a world of burning eyes
eluded the judge of smoldering cries

A faultless gait, no stumbled draw
a reaping brought by scythe and claw
Opal edge which shrouds a cause
aberrant blade shapes nature’s laws
Dictate a script, the stars can share
an open secret, a language bare
Steps continue, feet are drawn
across gray grass, undying pawn

be mindful
human rights are human ways
that lead down

be careful
the words above always remain
wear no crown

trap the sin
destroy the lie of conceit
look within

don't consume all that you see
you will feel
wrong like fire

I am Reality’s angel resting on the broad shoulders of discovery the truth feeds darkness and engulfs its target ideas and concepts in turn become meaningless to you there is a creator of all things He is just and patient many still have fallen into the masses of shadow wrapped in their own filthy idols of philosophy I have seen grown men fall like rose petals and weaklings rise into unjust leaders forever the follower of furtive evil dominating only to remain inferior the most important answers lie in the unseen regions where no sense can fully give assurance the mind that so many unreasonably twist and turn grows weary because of the distance it must take and truth be told the distance is not what frustrates it is knowing we are seeking something far that could very possibly not exist, that our minds can twist into theoretical, idealistic nonsense it is knowing all we really think we know is meaningless and yes—even a lie all that has been written thus far rests under my wings under the warmth in which you refuse to feel can you believe in me— though I am completely unseen? how much more difficult would it be to see Him?

Forgotten you
As your mind collects the memories of yesterday
Forgotten You
Epiphanies tie into knotty strings of realization
That very moment. . .
You merely exist

Back then. . .those smiles
Those. . .distant laughs
Some you remember by name
Gone now maybe
Like the exhalation of the wind
Others dispersed in the world of arbitrary happening
Like leaves from falling, man-made trees
There is no doubt that they have
Forgotten you

Activate the bomb
Ignite the fuse
And you’re on next year’s history book
Never forgotten
But drained of all remaining good

That smile you gave
That happiness
The warm embrace so long ago
Salt-coated with piles of rubbish
Over last remaining mental spurts of comfort
Evil, evil, evil, evil, EVIL. . .
Always absorbed and remembered
. . .though never forgiven. . .

All good and gracious sentiments
Packed up in a box set nonchalantly in Downstair’s storage
. . .that chair with the broken leg in the corner of the room
That mangled cobweb holding a dangling, lifeless spider
A drowned sailor’s hat drifting through the current of the ocean
The single tear from a soldier’s vigilant, memory-stricken eye
The frustrating thoughts of a mute
The unchanged. . .HATED deformations

Forgotten you. . .
One soul brings to light weary, unthought-of happenings
Wedged deep into what she can only imagine
With not even a hint of understanding
. . .of the pain. . . .of the bewildering distortions
Of the ugly. . .
One soul merely vomits sickly verse after verse

As humanity embraces its downfall
The poet hangs onto her unjustifiable, forgotten. . .

In vile defeat I confided to helplessness
I cringed knowing I know so little
As inadequate as I am I felt responsible
I felt responsible to know everything

In this mentality I suffered long nights
Over thinking myself and overlooking life
Until I gave up the pain for a little while
And took a deep, dark look to the other side

From The Time After God's Creation… From the time after God’s beautiful creation… Between man and God… Sin has caused a separation! When God looked down upon all of mankind. Fellowship with man was what he had in mind! We were all created to bring honor to his name. But sin has brought much wickedness and shame! Sin has created an enormous “moral cavity.” Mankind has reached an “immoral depravity!” Through God’s son, a way has been made. His life for yours, on Calvary, was paid! Though mankind sinned, God didn’t forget us! Jesus is here right now! He never left us! Through Christ’ blood, our lives can be cleansed! A new life in Christ is where victory begins! Won’t you come to the Lord who created you? It is no secret how much he loves you! Won’t you come? Why there’s still time? God has a purpose and a plan with you in mind! His grace and love can change you throughout! Knowing Jesus is what true life is all about! By Jim Pemberton

Twenty five years of grave digging finally unearthed a new birth;
Emergence into a sacred world where the secret wisdom of simplicity
Prevailed.

The connection was made, the gift giving;
Spiritual fire burned above his head.

He spoke in tongues of angels, wrote a revelation in
Divine script to be read by the mourners and widows.

Eulogies long overdue, delivered
To the souls that were left behind.

Now dangling in purgatory with outreached grasping hands
Toward heaven and feet smoldering in hell.

Waiting for the “Great Provision” to pull them into
The sanctuary of submission.

Writing poetry isn't easy, but a 2 year old can rhyme.
It's all about rhyming, I assume.
It's what everyone keeps telling me.

But then, I look at art.
And the comparison of both journeys.
What is it that binds those two ?

Maybe, it's the expressions, the feeling it gives.
Or maybe, the freedom in letting your mind take the sips.
We do both with our eyes close, we can do both with eyes close.

So the next time you feel like your mind needs to go on an adventure.
Go ahead, make that structure, make it rupture !
Spill your mind out on that paper, let it paint all your wonders.

And write all your desires. Don't bother with those deniers.

The Destruction of Mankind!

Throughout the Bible’s history, you’ll find…
The wickedness and destruction
 of mankind!

There were kingdoms that have come and gone!
They took pride, and thought
 they were strong!

No matter how strong men make think they may be…
Everyone needs to make plans for their eternity!

There’s many things that people have enjoyed…
But. there’s coming a day when it’ll all be destroyed!

The Bible says that we all have failed and sinned!
What a terrible mess that we find ourselves in!

Our answer and only hope is with Jesus today!
Only he can wash the darkness and sin away!

Only he can bring a completeness to our soul!
And can bring all we need to make us whole!

May God’s Holy Spirit reach out and convict us!
That we all may know,
 only God can help us!

The Potter, drenched in his noon-day sweat,
Sat hunched, cursing his fate;
The Clay which he fiddled with now
And the wheel he made to rotate,
Found him saddedned by a thought--
Saddened by his inward urge:
Should he make two separate
figures?
Or should they be merged?

Straining softly his fingers, first
He carved out a beautiful girl:
She thought how worthy she was made--
On her toes she did twirl..
With another piece of that clay,
The Potter's hands so swift,
Carved-out a man--a handsome Prince,
To be her Worthy gift...

The Sun drenched already the life of him,
And fused it in the clay--
The God-like Potter who played some more,
Thought of it this way.

Now both of them, kept in the Sun--
She'd dance and he'd play...
Soon love came-in at first sight,
But these pieces of clay,
Fell into a trap of envy and
Began the struggle to live--
Both knew of what is their's to take--
None ever learns to give....

Meanwhile the Maker, seeing them crack,
Frowned in great dismay,
Quickly picked up, merged them both
To a single ball of clay:
He thought again, what went wrong
And spun the wheel anew
'Should I make a single figure
Or should I remake the two?'

The Clay, still spinning in itself,
Knew It wanted none;
'Let life of Strife be not mine,
Pray let me stay as one....'

I'm not the greatest of all-times, but when I'm done, I'll be an all time great in this lifetime of mine Like the late great who came before my time I will breed a new lifeline, that will breathe life like march of dimes My story lines, will bring truth life; like troops who fight Overseas, for rights of those who believe that death is life Now that ain't right! As the rich is getting richer, eating fillet me-non, while we barely feeding our appetite Night after night Survival has waged a war that gave us no choice but to battle and fight Although, we'll be all right They say we a dying breed, but that ain't right Instead we're the light to a lying greed That will enlighten life to a brand new seed A man of God indeed Freed from the Son that bleeds Like the summer breeze He's the sum that equals the amount of air I breathe The air that please A satisfaction like the birds and the bees My word's words are the keys That will fornicate with the mind and give birth to a seed A seed of social change, that'll change our social economy So shall our comradery That will bring comfort to a struggling society A synonym...similar to a civilization seeking for unity Unifying the physics of theory That seeks to explain the synopsis of a dying philosophy Similar to the Cosby X-cept my scrip-tic will speak more about our reality Like life's calamity And everything else in life that's destroying us systematically However, I've discovered a system That can mathematically destroy ignorancy And turn our state of mind intellectually I elect that He (God) selects me to be And be that man who may lead this community So that they (My Peoples) may commute with me En-route to a destination, destine towards our destiny Like we were destine to be We were meant to be "Great" like the late great that came before we. Because we are... The reflection where perfection gave birth to the definition of greatness Where great means Competent, Skilled, Well Informed, and Tremendous Our potentials are endless And only we not even the enemy can put an end to this So it's time we put a stop to this The biggest enemy of self And that's envy and jelousness Cause after this is Heaven or Hell and that's all there is A promised made sealed with a kiss Knowing this Is the next best thing since "In the beginning" In the first chapter of the first verse in Genesis!

The Pirates Of Great Pacific
On the day that followed their departing
When they were forced to be aliens of the great deep
Wandered back and forth with nowhere to dwell
Hunger had caused them to astray to the world of the unknown
They chose to leave and be free of humans sneer
Life was tough, and marine came to their rescue
That there was no disposable bin for a child of man
They sail in rough seas even at night
Every current of life against them, fighting for survival
Against wind and stuffs that proved impatient for the child of man
In the world of unknown, the world of deep waters
They did not know that down will find them,
Still clinging in that breath of life
With no home to turn to, they had to make pacific theirs
And learn to sail against the storms and escape the jaws of great white
It was a life of terrible gamble to invade the world of underneath
They flip the coin with hope that destiny will guide them
While they wonder in that blue print of life
To them it was clear
that life is like Great Pacific

I feel like writing some material

To see if it's for real

Desperation setting in

Knocking me out like at the beginning

Trespassing, on the intrusive messaging

Who am I fooling ?

If only my thoughts were elusive

Maybe then I wouldn't be so exclusive

Should not stop my verses,

Can't handle these curses

Like my passion for hot nurses

Who ain't got 10 purses

I breathe eventually and recap on my story,

From point A to point B

Yoyo-ing through the commotion

Of accepting that you know you may know nothing

Confusing? That's my thing

Who wants to over complicate?

Not me mate.

I've been talking for a while now

Like I took a vow

To keep up the beat

And make it hit it deep;

Escape into the realm of the curiously strange.
The attentive oddities now relate and no longer estrange.
Phases of laughter riddle the night’s air ready to interchange.
The misplaced youth is greeted with a bizarre exchange.

An exotic like mirror is placed in a willing man's possession
It was once a door into a granted obsession
This uncanny event pushes him to a slow yet alert decision
An affectionate relief gives way to a granted vision

The parallel find gives way to a contemporary escape
Living in the dream world is his new mission to reshape
Nightmarish ghouls attack with a mighty force
The courageous warrior prepares to engage this dark horse

A mighty wind appears as a talking deep voice
"Use the mirror the entity will have to make a choice"
A clamor forces the darkness to see his own brutality
His lurid look into reality was the evil’s fatality

The inevitable suffering, the desired alleviation
All these could be seen through her eyes' nation!

Walking threw the mist of the night,
on the path that lead deep into the forest, in absence of sound;
from one whom was bought, no body shell be found,
of those who might be lost, homeward bound,
as we raven through this hollow ground.

Cross sentences that are incomplete, fractions that make you weak,
threw words that you learned so well, life is a living hell,
don't front and pull back, end of line, number check,
in the story and on track, blank page,
ink intact.

People come & go, that’s the cycle of life
One minute you know them the next they’re a stranger
Different me’s come & go, that’s the cycle of strife
One minute I know myself, the next I’m a stranger
Lost in limbo, I can’t discern which way to turn
Got 1,000 old me’s on my shelf in different urns
Whippin’ up a new me in my schizophrenic churn
You could say I’m like most things, still to be learned
I don’t think I’ll ever live up to my expectations
It’s just too easy to fall into these temptations
How many of you have felt these frustrations?
One minute I’m a genius, the next I’m an idiot
Every single days a struggle to live deliberate
Maybe I think too much, maybe I need to acquit
Maybe not, I’m just trying to make it all make sense
Where are you, God? I’d love to hear your two cents
I have a lot of questions for you; I’ve been on the fence
Did you create yourself? Where did you commence?
And what’s your thoughts on killing in your defense?
These days, isn’t war in your name just a pretense?
Will we ever understand? Or is it just too immense?
If life was my landlord I can’t say I’d renew my lease
My biggest fear? I’ll decease before finding inner peace
Wish I could go back & hear Socrates & Plato in Greece
Wish I could go back to Galilee and hear Jesus teach
Wish I could go back to 1963 and hear MLK’s speech
Why’s the hardest part practicing what you preach?
If only there were some kind of conscience bleach
Swear I know the right way but still I choose wrong
These inner demons have been at me for oh so long
Maybe I was born in the wrong time, I don’t belong
Lost in trivialities, searching for a way out of the throng
I’m looking to the stars where the Gods sit thru my telescope
I feel small but yet infinite, it helps cope and gives me hope
I like to imagine God’s looking back thru his microscope
thinking: face your woes, they’ll follow you around the globe
and all there is to know is within you, you just have to probe
even the righteous suffer, didn’t you read the book of Job?
and life’s what you make it, a lucid dream, no frontal lobe

Meddlesome acknowledgement was my gift to many
I wondered where the nutrients were coming from
I was absorbing your words, parched by my own dimming light-years
There I was stunned by the legion of black-faced martyrs

Exasperation of the undeniable misunderstanding of every conceivable word
Left me with another path onto death
And not nearly dying, but regenerating in technological, factorial woe
Demon thoughts squeezed bile from the brim of subconscious drivel
Accelerating the ghouls from the gull of my esophagus

I was held down from the dreams of the fortnight
From words of architecture ascending from the brims of the archangels
Eyes remained closed
And I felt the actual descent of my downfall
I did not open my eyes at all

I did not mean to pry into your life, oh beautiful soul
Please accept my gift today
My fierce gaze into your lavishing grail
Led me to accept and love where I often fail
I am no longer smothered in your intricate designs
Though I am surely small to you
Though I feel only a fraction of a fool
I am the hidden spark under the timbers of lies

I am the hidden spark under the timbers of lies

Verse 1:
Don't be shy,
I just wanna spend some time,
Make you mine,
Make it right,
Don't need to worry,
Girl, no one will ever compare,
To you,

Chorus:
Girl, The moon is close tonight,
Mother nature's on my side,
Let the clock move slow all night,
Come chill with me tonight,

I said the dj's on my side,
And he's playing our song all night,
We can dance all through the night,
Come chill with me tonight,

Verse 2:
Listen to the night,
Listen to the moving of the trees,
Their talking to me,
Controlling me,
They make me move,
As I watch the movement of the
moon,

Chorus:
The moon is close tonight,
And it's shining on so bright,
And our love is worth the fight,
Come chill with me tonight,

Girl, the party's off tonight,
And their playing the disco right,
And the club won't be jumping
tonight,
Come chill with me tonight,

I said the dj's on my side,
And he's playing our song all night,
We can dance all through the night,
Come chill with me tonight...

In the void, sipping the zoid,
with mental properties of tripping on the spiral.
Falling down the tail of lions, awkwardly spinning.
With upside down tunnel vision leaking through.

Solidifying all matter that matters,
melting into the walls of your brain.
It tickles all the raindrops dripping in your eyes,
satisfying your desire of a synchronized pattern.

Bleeding purple from the rainbow,
and turning into swirls of diamonds.
Slipping exuberantly beside you; driving you wild.
Where the shadows stop the spirited scream.

Devour yourself into the omniscient grip.
Icy cold finger tips scratch the surface of your divinity,
bringing you closer to the God who whispered in your unborn ear,
situated in your flesh from birth to death.

It embeds itself in the pupil of your eye,
dancing with your spirit and licking your soul.
Black shapes of madness wrapped in chaos and euphoria.
Twinkling and blinking dust of a cloud.

Haze filled skies and blood filled smoke raining from the clouds.
Envisions of clowns and demons laughing at our demise.
Chilling sensations of sickening mannerisms,
mechanisms and mechanics sought out to destroy the tiny creatures.

These creatures running crazy into acceptance of demise.
Deprived of life, scared of death but giving into it's taste.
Taste buds quiver as the taste grows sweeter.
Death, oh death, tell everyone who you really are...

Too long have you been hidden in the shadows you cast,
too long have we rendered your pain.
The world grows sicker as the hairs in my head grey.
I'll never surrender as demons always circle.

Today, begins a new day of our fight.
And I have a good feeling about this day.
Onward, we have united our minds and gathered ourselves within.
Always ready for we accept our fear.

We accept our hate and everything in between.
Accept it all for what it really is.
No amount of doubts will over throw us.
Onward, to peace.

Life is a waste of time
Why Life?
If a flowing river is not ready to still
A falling rain shall stop
If a blowing wind shall disturb
A breathing man shall live
An ambitious man shall die

Then, life is a waste of time.

I don't understand you, so...that means you don't exist.
You create spectacular works of art impossible to resist.
Your thoughts and actions are written down, in indelible ink.
Ignorance and ingratitude doesn't move me to ponder, to think.

It's much harder to say, I'm confused by you, I just don't understand,
What is the purpose for my existence, where do I fit into your plan?
A humble person will admit they need help, that they might be wrong,
Misguided or misled, they still feel the need to be loved and to belong.

When one doesn't understand abstract art, because there's no nature scene,
Rejecting Twelfth Night, because they don't know what Shakespeare means.
Saying Picasso doesn't exist, because one doesn't know his brilliant mind,
Isn't saying there's no Creator the same, presumptuous, the pinnacle of pride?

Millions of lives and souls untold
And to account it all
Words, lines, films
Imagination trims
A sliver of soft, scarlet ribbon
Hollywood rounds
Quills deliver
Writers flare with passion so strong
Filling minds with fantasies, reveries, histories
Tragedies
We consume it all like freshly baked bread
We feed until we are engorged and fed
A viral, universal mess
Ideas and unmade memories
Nothing more or less

My eyes remain glued to the screen
Living it all out
Tears dare to flow—to doubt
I should have thought of that
Can I truly let myself believe,
Someone else lived that!
Pound away your directors, script-writers, fighters
For miles and miles of stories remain unread
While the unknown remain in the grounds of humble malnourishment
Dead
Careers for the mind with a twist of the fable
Left us savage for the meal and the crumbs under the table
I can never let the raw truth rest
Naked, bare and empty—soothed
Nothing more or less

I cringed for originality
Observed the world through the unedited scripts
The very act, the poetry pact
The wild animal drooling in the back
I was slapped in the face by my boss who had cracked
As the reviews bloated less and less
They wanted something awful, something flaw-ful—something new
And this empty brain in agony—HISSED
I have lived in no epic battle of account
Of the collateral sufferings of my brothers
The stories the red carpet smothers
And still I ache to create
Before the other ones discover
I returned with ‘‘oh me’s’ and ‘oh my’s’’
With a work of pure genius—a storybook of lies
Nothing more or less

Little have I lacked to dream
Of contortioned pulls and dramatic fire
Stories that rarely brittle or tire
I fiddled with precious glass on edge
Foully eager for self-damage
As if it would trigger some legitimate spark
Searching for creatures and features in the dark
No one unlocked the passage that night
For the starving idea-parched malice of right
But all welcomed with open arms
A pale mannequin filled with jewels and charms
Consuming, fuming dooming
All ghosts hoping, screaming, looming
Hoping that one day they would find themselves on the big screen
Their legacy real as it can possibly get
Nothing more or less

I tried to write about love but I haven’t felt it.
I tried to write about the sea but I’ve never seen it.
Then I tried to write about the air, but I have never breathed it.
I tried to write about magic but I never believed it.
I couldn’t write about god, all I have ever done is sinned.
And when I tried to write about life I found,
I have never really lived.

I have an addiction...
It dont matter what time of day it is my addiction is there...
Not always in the literall since...
But it is always on my mind...
I lay my head down to sleep at night thinking about you...
I sleep dreaming about you...
I wake up thinking about you...
Your always on my mind...
No matter what I do my addiction is always on my mind...
Even if your not the last one I talk to before I lay my head down to sleep...
I still lay my head down thinking of you...
I just cant get enought of you...
No matter what my addiction is there...
My addiction has a name...
Her name is Shelby Nestle...
No matter how much we text or talk on the phone...
Its never enough...
I cant get enough of your beautiful eyes...
I cant get enough of that beautiful smile...
I cant get enough of kissing your soft lips...
That feeling I get inside when our lips touch...
Or holding you in my arms...
This is a new addiction to me...
Never have I been this addicted this quick...
It scares the shyt outta me...
But then I love it...
You are my new addiction baby...
You are my...
My heroin...
My ecstacy...
My cocaine...
You are my own personal drug...
I cant imagine and addiction stronger...
You are my addiction...
I wouldnt even think about trying to break this addiction...
I wouldnt go to rehab for this addiction...
I like it to much...
YOU ARE PERFECT JUST THE WAY YOU ARE

There are proud people “coming out!” Yet, they have no idea what real life is about! Many brag about a lifestyle that’s revealing. Yet have lost God’s purpose and meaning! I’m coming out for Jesus! I’ve nothing to hide! I’ve asked him to take away my sin and pride! Of my own accomplishments... I’ve nothing to boast! But I’m proud of God the father, son and holy ghost! Whatever pride we have… We’ve all sinned! Jesus told us; “you must be born again!” Nothing that I’ve done is worth “bragging of.” Rather, I’ve done things that I’m ashamed of! But God reached down to where I was standing! And filled my life with his peace and understanding! The more I have of Jesus, the less I need of me! His power alone is what can truly set me free! I’m coming out for Jesus! The redeemer of my soul! I’m going to shout it! So the whole world may know! I’m not ashamed of Jesus! I am NOT! By his mercy… My sins have been blood bought! For each step you take to God… He takes two! Won’t you allow him to do his work through YOU? A life of righteousness and holiness is what God is asking! Come now! And receive HIS life! It’s everlasting! By Jim Pemberton
