The First Goodbye

laying in your bed
watching you
get dressed
the permanent ring in the
back pocket
of your blue jeans
i’m missing you already

Saying Goodbye

I cried as I said goodbye today,
To my best childhood friend;
As my tears fall I wish you could stay,
I never thought it would end;

You snort and bump me with your nose,
Trying to tell me it’s alright;
If I’ll see you again, nobody knows,
Tears are blurring my sight;

“It’s time” Mom calls from outside,
And I lead you out of your stall;
Trying to hide the tears that I’ve cried,
With my head up, I try to walk tall;

I give you a hug and breathe in your scent,
Then hand over your lead rope;
Questioning vaguely where our time went,
Praying that I can cope;

And as they drive away with you,
I drown myself in tears;
I’m lost, I don’t know what to do,
As I think back on our years;

And as my tears start to dry,
I think of the good times and the bad;
I never thought I’d have to say goodbye,
To you, the best friend I ever had.

Your love pricks me like a rose each thorn grows but no one knows Your so full of
it as it shows so carry on now go on, go. I'm fed up with the phony and i'm
through with the tears, you couldn't pay me all your money to make up for those
years. Someone help me I feel faint how could I think he was such a saint and
worst of all I let me fall into a spiral down below. A magic called love carried
by the dove of someone I use to know.

A Country Song

Just recently a new friend of mind
has inspired me to write a new string
of country song, I hope you'll like this
my first and the ones that follow....HEEEEEEYAAAAAA!!!

A Country Song

We haven't always been, That good together
We've found it hard to simply get along
So instead of being miserable forever
I thought I'd write this parting song

It's not good for you, to always feel uneasy
It's not good for me, just to play along
But picking on each other's getting cheesy
How on earth did our meeting go so wrong

Now the end is here, let's get through it
And we know it's pretty plain to see
Connie if you have to hate someone
Then Connie it's "Ok" if it's me !

We haven't always been, That good together
We've found it hard to simply get along
So instead of being miserable forever
I thought I'd write this parting song

goodbye find another sucker

well once again my poem is to long,
so you won't be able to read the graceful words of my hearts song,
i guess wanting to share so many thoughts with you was wrong,
so i'll be noting now but gone, i don't have the money to pay this site,
so they can tell me my future is bright,
so i'll say adios, me amigos, and wish you the best,
but ya gotta have cash, or here, on this site
the free words of your heart, will not be expressed
Goodbye, I am moving on, to a place I'll be fairly treated and blessed
where i won't be thought of as poop, and ripped off and hustled,
by the greedy management, of poor ol poetry soup
oh and by the way, give em cash or you'll never get posted as poem of the day
