I go where mountain streams converge
And stand with pitcher on the verge
Of a transparent tranquil pool
Where waters merge lucent and cool
There is the grass sparkling with dew
I dip the jar in aqua blue
It overflows its precious gift
As with both hands I gently lift
To raise the contents to my lips
So that I take the first few sips
And then I drink the rest in haste
There is ambrosia in the taste
That brings to mind my faithful muse
The sky is filled with scarlet hues
I am entranced and stay until
The sun goes up; once more I fill
The jar with water to the brim
On wings of time I fly and skim
Till I arrive at heaven’s gates
Then walk to where my master waits
The zodiac path is where he lives
He lays the rules and ever gives
To freedom lovers ample space
To go about at their own pace
And cure the fragile human race
To make the world a better place.
A water bearer I shall be
With care to serve eternally.

Earth is what we become and makes us whole.
Air is the first and last thing we breathe in.
Fire is what consumes us and eats our sin.
Water cleanses us, mind, body and soul.
Spirit is in us all and makes us who we are.
Without these we would fall oh so far.
Invite them into our sacred circle and pay tribute.
As we are condemned, we are resolute.
We love fiercely and fight for our freedom.
Ignorance breeds fear and unwisdom.
Thank them for gracing us with their presence.
While we give our thanks and recompense.
Exhilarated and feeling like a newborn child,
Wow this circle's "magic" is wild.

Noah heard the forecast and realised he must build an ark
It had to be impermeable for when they finally disembark.
They faced forty days and forty nights of torrential precipitation
Thank goodness Noah was constructing the ark for this situation
To invigorate Noah he could see the storm clouds were gathering
He knew that they must work quickly or they would get a battering
The requisite was it must be huge to hold animals and his family
When animals boarded two by two, it was a spectacular sight to see
When they reached dry land they were met with falling snow
Snow is formed by crystallization in case you didn’t know!
Water is essential to our daily life, we need it for our hydration
It is sent to us from heaven above – thank God for precipitation!

Her man was woven into love spell
By another woman, not of her smell.
Bewitchery, she will not tolerate
To the perfumery she’ll calculate.
Apothecary had the perfect answer
An exotic earthy whiff from vetiver!
Happy she was her man found her erotic -
But, alas, it was only episodic!
She spritzed the air with essence of rose petal -
Then a reminiscence of the betrayal!
Love and romance the attar generated
Very soon enough it evaporated.
Memorable scent of basil she wore next,
Pleasurable things her man not to forget,
In vain, it was she who cannot forget -
In her mind fresh the err her man had make,
Scent of her rival made her green with envy,
Scent of betrayal made her very angry,
Desperate but hopeful, she went to a lone edifice;
Temperate and humble, the scent of water brought her peace.

Against the sea or ocean tide,
with poetry and pen allied,
I found the water muse inspires
every word the hand requires.
How winsome is her rustic art
that from recesses of the heart,
bring well-established syllables
and the flow of countless ripples?
By gaping river's open mouth,
she'll end the wordlessness of drought
and as the poets' voice is heard,
she'll sail on his dramatic word
then drift into those wordless streams
on metered verse and rhyming schemes
until each one who ever wrote
has cast their work of art afloat!

I stole the surges of the ocean and the glory of the wave,
the roiling seas as recompense for what you never gave.
And I thought that I might see you at the dock or by the bay,
and I thought that you might love me, but my words washed you away.

A canvas washed with pastel hues
In palest pinks and liquid blues
Perfection seen through Monet’s eyes
Recounting where his genius lies
The lilies floating on the lake
The water, greenish blue opaque
A fluid mix of subtle tints
A flowing dream with fragile glints
This work of art from sable brush
Perception, depth, a hazy blush
This masterpiece both cool and warm
All bound up in poetic form
To gaze in awe, to stand and stare
To find oneself transported there
The tranquil view, unbroken, whole
Will heal the heart, rebuild the soul
The peace, the calm, the beauty rare
The artist’s gift for all to share

For decades now we've swam, we've played
and on the grass, in sunshine laid.
A haven for our meditations
visited by our many generations.
Pristine beauty, nature's pride,
and now, bereft, tears we've cried.
To be destroyed, torn asunder.
Governments decree, a total blunder.
Safety issues is their claim,
so our park they now defame.
This decision, we don't understand,
upcoming destruction of community land.
Other solutions they will not hear.
Their stubbornness abundantly clear.
We now say goodbye to memories
of wandering through paths of trees
beside the lakes of childhood life.
Their idea of progress cuts like a knife.
For decades now we've swam and played
and on the grass, in sunshine laid.
A haven for our meditations
that's been stolen from future generations.

Death By Murder:
Murky water left to drink
floating particles of death.
Erie presence leaves discontent.
As something wicked floats in it.
The bone chilling cold wind doth blow
off Lake Erie with flurry snow.
Late at night off cold dark shores
shadows of a floating barge.
Clouds of soot from steamers clogged
Pollutes the air with killer smog.
When something wicked this way flows
poverty on desperate corners pose.
Perverts prey on angry streets
Homeless children on which they creep.
Desperately at the mercy of,
as something wicked this way comes
Young ones get plucked, like sweet ripe plumbs
As something wicked this way comes
Contaminated, where no herbs could purge her
Strictly becomes death by murder.
Others with blood dripping from lips
Every scary thing flung and flipped
No caring soul feels to investigate
As vampires odors fumigate
There's no friend to even extend
a stick to beat the bush or defend
The evil deeds that ignorance brings
desecrates the graves of all good men
We make loud noises and pretend;
While something evil this way spins.
The screams are loud but know one heard her
Ignored are cries upon lake Erie's borders
Spores that spawn.. these deaths by murder.

A small romantic rain poem dedicated to hubby.
wrote by Mrs.Madhavi.Suyog.Pagare
"Ohhhh Rain..Shower again!!!!! "
Showering in the rain,
Draining the pain!
Enflueraging the essence of arenicolous sand,
Feeling blessed porting on this beautiful greenary land! Trees were roaming
under fiercing winds,
Thanks nature for benevolently so kind!
Sip of sizzling coffee With Caramalized sugar,
Cheers hubby to accompany me my gelling agar!
Wanna capture this Driplets of aromatic water nearby lake,
So that I can make an icy snowflake!
That's amazing, "but ohhhh God, I wish my honey is here".

At first the sun's fingers
Poke up just a bit,
Seeming to find the ocean's ledge,
They grab a hold of it.
With radiant arms extended,
It raises itself higher,
Then sits upon the ocean's rim -
A fuzzy ball of fire.

Such a disaster once had happened.
Water and fire had fallen in love
Master to hug the fire was maddened,
Was so much afraid to hug his love.
Strong arms of fire enchanted, gleamed,
All around him has brightened.
Pull over to her love water dreamed
But the flames of fire frightened.
Prideful and beautiful was the fire
With each coming day his love blazed
To hug water was his greatest desire
But …to do it he was so much afraid.
The same often happens in life.
They love, but are afraid to show.
With the real feelings they strive,
Different ways they forever go.
Can’t live together water and fire.
One another they only admire.

The rules of engagement are
etched out in time
The fog's holding sway as the
sun tries to shine
Through a blanketing smokey
Outmanuevering all access to
sunshine and clouds
The swells on the water in
In accordance with luna and
the time of the year
Drawn skyward they swell as
they rush to the shore
To crest, foam and crash with
a frothy white roar
The sun punches through in a
white shining ball
To the sound of a single
unseen seagull's call
The sand, sky, and ocean all
lack clear distinction
Reality fades to a blurred case

Impermeable waters thrill the air
To invigorate tiptoes everywhere,
Dizzy where moist grasses and blooms unfurl
As herons pirouette through a curved swirl,
Where mist, in full hydration, reels a while
Its tangy perfume …the senses beguile!
As crystallization forms like soft ice
From mild gushes, flowing tendrils baptize
The requisite weave of crests, its tidal intent
Where islet’s limbs end a water dance’s fest
Oh, precipitation of gust crowns the moon
Tugging lovers and dreams in a ballad’s tune.

BID ON MY LOVE ON OCEAN WAVES
The depth of my emotions is my greatest foe,
release me from the darkness with your magic glow.
Come hither to float on the ocean waves that shine,

Searchin' the waves for sight of a sail.
Throwin' back hearty tankards of ale.
" Sails to port, " the lookout did call.
So excited was he that he nearly did fall.
Closin' in on the prey excitement grows.
In less than an hour we'll come to blows.
Ocean spray feels good on my face.
Closer and closer we're winnin' the race.
" Weapons in hand, " I cry from the poop.
My wolves get ready as we near the sloop.
The vessel did gleam, she's a true beauty.
My blood is boilin' for my pirates booty.
" At her lads, " I yell through a death grin.
We swarmed so fast the fight did barely begin.
The fight was swift but it was bloody.
After spyin' the treasure I knew we'd been lucky.
Out of the chest gold spilled to the deck.
Loot her and burn her, we'll sink this wreck.
Back to our ship we take our loot.
Survivors on the plank their gettin' the boot.
Twas just another day in a pirates life.
You've got to be quick and sharp as a knife.

Is joy found in Thee and thine or in me and mine?
Whose words teach of the path, my life will define
Is happiness found, respecting all things, being kind?
By seeking a common good of man, with thee in mind
Or by achieving goals, success that will benefit me
Is this the key to unlock the grace foretold from thee?
It seems that many men’s words differ in religious belief
Each group’s path shifts, as when wind blows a leaf
Which men’s words should I follow, whose thoughts are true
Or do these men speak with words, mixed in an evil brew
As I think, ponder, on what path I should follow in life
You guide my direction, as the "Great Spirit", my fife
Let earths wind, water, fire, teach animal, plant and man
All lessons they need learn, from the creator of the plan
All mankind needs your grace to discern wisdom from folly
Some men distort your words to sell tickets on their trolley
With "faster is better" and “giving of your life will be holy”
Beware the cost of the ride, proceed a little more slowly
Wisdom discerns truth, as knowledge comes alive
Let your spirit be taught, before man can contrive

Who fears the rain fears cleansing streams
Where goes a river, stagnant and unclean
When a friend sobs with a friend, love blooms
Was there lots of water on the moon
Warm water has been my trusted friend
When nicotine had to come to an end
Why did Noah admonish the crowd
Weather forecast stupendous storm cloud
What would we do without our water
We who stand in need of a Savior.

THE LAST DROP OF WATER
Clouds of despair will block out our sun
Trials and burdens each weighing a ton
God brings those clouds into your life
Not without conflict, discord or strife
Are they punishment or sent to refresh
Love incarnate through a Saviours flesh
Do not flee from raindrops that may fall
Let them linger enough for mercy’s recall
Grace will fall –heavenly drops from above
Till the last drop of water-a chastising love

Desert dust devils reign supreme
Swirling in conditions extreme
Dry, cracked river bed yawns wide
Depleted source long denied
Lost to his instinctive traits
He halts to sniff a draught of air
Frenzied digging does then occur
Grubbing for ants, worms or mice?
He digs a deep hole in a trice
Ground darkens to a muddy brown
The scent of water.......his home found.

Water Ripples and a Willow Tree
Would a willow weep herself to sleep?
But before she does count her sheep
That are laying below each long limb
In shadows where light is low and dim.
One of the sheep soon went astray
From her mother did wonder away
To see wide world with its each sight
Which she will adore and did delight.
River rapidly ran then slowed down
Saw and heard ripples make a sound
And were in a mostly circular shape
She never know how or way to escape.
Ripples gently passed the willow tree
And then started heading out to sea
Until a current existed everywhere
Now each ripple is no longer there.
Willow soon woke up very next day
To God her prayers she soon did say
Thanking Him for His each wonder
And branches below her that are under.

I am a water Lily,
my petals are quite frilly.
I thrive on abundant waters,
the flowing streams, my AORTAS.
Great beauty in flowing scene,
planted in life’s flowing stream.
My nectar is quite neat,
my honey dew is sweet.
It is in April and May,
broad leaves on water I lay.
When I prepare to pray,
in nature’s usual way.
Being love’s Lily of life,
manifesto of love not strife.
Having variety of colors,
love imitates no others.
Please enjoy my view,
my beauty I give to you.
I sway in the gentle breeze,
with awesome beauty, I please.
From a world of useless strife,
come and quiet your very life.
Come and sit by my side,
on my river so very wide.
And let your conscience awake,
love’s nature made no mistake.
Love only made me for you,
as truth, I am as skies so blue.
Nature’s awesome retreat,
numerous days to repeat.
Petals of beauty quite neat,
a natural of love’s feat.

of water sign, Cancerians are most emotional of all
seem moon cold but are warm and glow as luminol
sensitive individuals, they are caring and giving
circulate in familiar circles and are home loving
always nourish and nurture their relationships
take good care of all friends when down in chips
they don’t expect a return for their own favors
even distant ones can get a feel of their flavors
they are quite protective of their personal spaces
such as interests, possessions, and relationships
guided by intuition they think out-of-the-box
relying bit on gut feeling, logic at spurs is lost
they may easily be affected by failures and setbacks
and are prone to pessimism and lack the whack
their mood swings are famous and unpredictable
but it can be a bit overwhelming for other people
Cancerians are said to be tad complex and conservative
they cross-check everything, leaving you no alternative
over-sensitive, they tend to harbour imaginary hurts
doubts when cleared, can suffer from bouts of regrets
they are protective of their emotions and can be cringy
can’t let go of things easily and not help but be a clingy

Water, Beach and A Moonlight Stroll
Moonlight, beach and a stroll in the cool blue water
you wading beside me, string bikini made it so much hotter!
You bending over to splash water in my smiling face
a fantastic sight, one that made this loving heart race!
Cool breeze sending it's soothing , washing embrace
moonlight water washing away footprints leaving not a trace!
Such glory, sharing that love filled time with you
realizing I love it all, everything you and I could ever do!
Stopping by that overhanging rock beaten by the sea
memories of your body and sweet face forever burned into me!
Love, overpowering love, burning us into just one
water, beach, breeze with us bare under that midnight sun!
Robert J. Lindley, 07- 23-2014
Our first night at the resort in the Phillipines, Boracay!
So very beautiful and an idealic scene for love to blossom.
And blossum it did, a glorious memory burned into my heart
and my brain!
My wife, the enchantress that captured my heart with a smile,
a laugh and a string bikini! One I bought that day and dared her
to wear! Knowing I'd win the bet, she fooled me--she wore it won
the bet but just between us -- I wanted to see that win!!!!!

A drought has been declared, no hose pipes can we use
There has been such light rain for two years, but I think it is a ruse.
The day the drought was declared the heavens opened up
They have not stopped precipitating; one certainly dare not look up.
The water flows as free as lager at a barbecue
Constantly pouring, persisting it down, and the same problems ensue.
We are drenched in all sorts as drains do rise, and rivers flood their banks
But the drought warnings still apply there are supposed empty water tanks.
The spring rain is falling not like tears on babies’ cheeks
But pouring and pouring constantly, and has been now for weeks.
Still the drought does linger but I think I know the ruse
They will put the bloody price up, and watch us blow a fuse.

A dripping, drizzling, falling drop,
Which hits the ground with a bouncing plop.
A rolling, flowing, surging force,
Which carves the land and runs its course.
A cooling, soothing, refreshing thing,
Which calms the soul and makes it sing.
A soaking, drenching, dousing substance,
Which engulfs the world's continents.
A sustaining, quenching, natural element,
Which fosters life and makes it relevent.

Never a crescent but opalescent
This globe, suspended and always present
And the Wolf cannot be flesh or bone
In this void in time's dim desert zone
The Wolf drinks water by frozen moonlight
Tween slurps She's panting with all of her might
Behind Her is cool, clear space, not a sound
Only the dream, the moon, the pond, the ground
Before Her, Her own urge to lap abounds
Wet shadow animates Her slurping sounds
As She's prowling, the dreams of human minds
Resume here, and secret voices She finds
While the Wolf lingers in psychic powers
None shall wake, but quake, for several hours
Their minds in this clearing, none can hide
Into this stretch they've strayed, some petrified
Sleeping souls, unseen, drift round Her shadow
Longing to escape to some green meadow
Gathered souls meld with Her strange oasis
Their liquid ripples squirm like their faces
In each warm, active mind synapses spark
Captives perceive images as they arc
Meanwhile, the Wolf; in spirit world She drinks
A united sea; thoughts each dreamer thinks
Her lips draw in the collective spirit
Of their curious nature; they fear it
In Her belly flows their merged collages;
Impressions of their entwined barrages
The Wolf's clear as glass, exposing patterns
In colors blazed like Neptune's, like Saturn's
From Her drinking head down to Her wagging tail
She's made of dreamers captured by sleep's spell

Having escaped from her attic on a bright summer day,
Constance skipped through the forest in fantasy play.
Flowers abloom; vibrant colors mix with green;
Constance found amazing beauty in everything.
A shy, maturing girl with only imaginary friends;
Flourishing happily in a world full of pretend.
In a pool of fresh water from a spring underground,
Constance knelt to take a sip and a beauty she found.
Where once was a little girl, a young woman she saw,
Whose beauty, adorned with flowers, left her in awe.
The reflection of her face in the rippling pool,
Smiled back with satisfaction in the water so cool.
Although unsure of herself in many different ways,
She saw confidence growing in the face that she gazed.
The water refreshed her when she finally took a drink,
But the reflection was more fulfilling for Constance, I think.

Fire ants! Fire ants! All over my yard!
Fire ants! Fire ants! Why do you try so hard?
There are little hills of demons all over my land
Filled with the little critters that I just can’t stand!
The sting and they bite and leave scars on me.
The have even killed my very favorite tree!
Fire ants! Fire ants! Are making me so mad!
Fire ants! Fire ants! Where’s that can of diesel I had?
I will be diggin’ in a flower bed when suddenly
Those darn fire ants are swarming all over me!
I run to turn on the water and grab the water hose
So I can wash away the fire burning under my clothes!
Fire ants! Fire ants! Taking over Texas!
Fire ants! Fire ants! Meaner than my exes!
One of these days, I will manage to eradicatecate
Just as soon as someone improved fire ant bait
My land will then have a fire ant sign
Saying stay off of my property, it is mine!
Fire ants! Fire ants! Making evil mounds!
Fire ants! Fire ants! If you got ‘em, trouble abounds!
