Captured

He left
That night locking
Her away with a kiss;
Her soul captured by his spirit,
She stayed.

She waits -
For the spirit
To light her pitch-black days;
To breathe into her missing nights;
She’s still.

Tears of a child

I hear
Each night she cries
Tears like crystalline rain;
They pierce my heart like frozen knives,
Sink deep

LONELY THE INTERLUDES

keyboard chasing ripples through notes’ interludes, pounding, drowning crushed love… ebony fingers like tendrils stiffen from refrains, despair on moonless halls… blistered Dr. Ram Mehta's Cinquain Contest by nette onclaud

LONELY LOVE

The love
That I feel
Can never sleep.
Anxiety that kills me
With warmth.

Loved
I've missed
Terror briddled
Set to gallop
My heart.

Deaf
Silence...
Words spoken
For heart that's set
Ablaze

Gripped
Red rose...
Breasts to hug
With zeal breast bored
In rose!!!

Craze
That I yield
Can't just end.
Anxiety that kills me
In pain.

Be free

There, there,
she has long gone,
let her go and be free,
free to live and roam as you please,
be free.

Lonely

Lonely
Return to thee
Years of separation
Our lives mirror images
Alone

Lonely
Days of yearning
I am a new person
Sprouting come spring and summer
Forlorn

Lonely
To imagine
Your sweet lips upon mine
This is a beautiful thing
Remote
