The tides come and go, as the moon says hello and goodbye.
The water rises and falls, as the sun comes to live and die.
She just treads on, drifting through the sea.
She just treads on, for weak she cannot be.
The sting of her betrayal brings tears that fall like rain;
The broken hopes of tomorrow bring a familiar pain.
She just treads on, drifting through the sea.
She just treads on, for weak she cannot be.
The storms of life come and go, the water rough at times.
The feeling of going under, and just like that the sun shines.
She just treads on, drifting through the sea.
She just treads on, for weak she cannot be.

I was sitting on the dock feeling melancholy today;
And thought of my Dad and what he would say.
If he were sitting on the bench beside me again;
Like the old days we had, I would hug him, and then.
I would ask him about what really matters in life;
all the work, all the stress, the trouble and strife?
He would say, "In the end it doesn't matter what you bought;
the toys, the money, or the real estate you sought.
What matters the most is the love you hold dear;
your family, your friends, and those that are near.

Another drop of water
Falls upon the grave of my daughter

As I Hear The Insane Laughter
Of the Devil
But Its was In the hands of the God Too slaughter
The flowers Of the Innocent petal
The Essences Still Young and feeble
Barley Old Enough To mould
The Body and soul have Gone Bitterly Cold
Several choices
Now I hold A gun Across my temple Because I hear voices!

Repent My Sins Or stay In the lines Of law And Order
As I see the man Who killed my daughter
Walk free
Revenge wont alter the story Or banish the pain
Trying too Vanquish My demons But I'm still left with the Anguish And hate
Wishing my little girl would appear today
And spread some sunshine of this world of Grey
I'm Lost Drowning In Depression, I lost my Essences
Plummeting Into thickness of the fog
I hope you don't hear these tear-drops
That descended, Kind of poetic
I hear raindrops On the ocean That are your Tears I cherish...

I how visions of you still here,Beside me
Purifying
I hear your voice It says "Daddy... why are you crying"?
"Are you Upset? But "Are you really here"? I guess..
Not because she's not replying
There just noises whispering In my head
The doctor Says Its normal if your repress feelings
That's why you feeling depressed...

Today I'm just A drop Of water
I wish I felt There was more to life
Come tomorrow I'm be In the Ocean
Rising With Morning Tide.

Garlands I hold on blue river’s last sunset- path today

It’s babbling never the same each time my heart cruises it;

That I might grow old and forget an alcove by the shore

As smokey ripples lead me through a psalm of waved memoirs--

To offer wreaths for my child… lost, drowned in riverbed’s womb.

Lifeless out of water

Parting a beloved is no less than a curse,
Drowning will not at all fit into a slaughter,
As if emotions scrubbed off the vibrant verse,
Left all alone, the denied love charter,
Lifeless I wish to emerge out of water !

When the water falls from the eyes

When the water falls from the eyes
It's a display of sorrows size
Cascading tears sometimes surprise
As water falls down from the eyes

When the water falls from the eyes
Emotions release, realized
Griefs expressions are recognized
As water falls down from the eyes

When the water falls from the eyes
As pains distresses cause heart sighs
Relief comes with sorrows goodbyes
For now, water falls from the eyes.

An echo poem in recognition of two fine poets who inspired this!

Frederick Parker's poem Heart's Waterfall
and
Daniel Turners monoku Heart Sighs

Both excellent works! Give them a read also!

Thanks to you both for inspiring this one!

These belong to the eyes.
They are clumsy, my eyes
Because they are always dropping tears.
Tears are crystals of liquid,
Shimmering in light,
Impossibly beautiful,
As though their meaning is good.
Why are the gems that fall
Why are they like diamonds?
Sparkling, as if snowflakes?
Their facets are eyes,
Their mines, your emotions,
How did this come to be?
Tears are the gems of your heart.
They show what you think,
Your thoughts are written on these precious stones.
They are merely water,
Yet powerful enough to shift the heavy burden of a Mind.
And they come without warning,
These stones of feeling.
They carve tracks
Into the weathered stone
Of your face.
They are waterfalls
That wash the colour of the world
Out of your eyes.
They drip,
Less than blood,
But still as thick,
And sweeter.
But they cause you to see less colour,
It has been washed away by those rivers
Of ocean water.
So tears cannot stop.
As long as you cannot,
Neither can they.

Flood is a very common occurrence in Bangladesh

Due to its position and altitude.

In-spite of its all experience and forecast,

The country always falls in awkward situation,

When flood comes with all its loud and lechery.

1966, 1970, 1987, 1988, 1998 ?and 2007 in 20th century

Deadly flood barred Bangladesh beastly.

Flood situation-2017 in Bangladesh

Is much ravenous, catastrophic all over the country,

More starving in the north Bengal.

Already left few hundreds people dead.

Many people are suffering with their

Cattle, children and old member of the family.

Food crisis is acute there, cooking is impossible,

As their huts already got swamped and liquidated.

Lakdi by which they cook have been soaked,

Dry food and emergency medicine they now need

Are being made available in a slow pace by the organizations.

And no place now spared there inundated

To stay in, let alone sleep or associate.

To come out from the saddening situation

We need collective efforts,

But lack of political concomitance

And for religious selfishness it is very difficult to

Let all assets and hands to be functional at a time.

We feel our world is a village, so, any disaster happen

In any corner of the world is all’s responsibility.

We are living now in a very connected world,

Anybody’s grievance is everybody’s concern,

So, we can hope no calamity is stronger than

Our collective efforts, our collective emotion and responsibility.

Mad driven solitude--

the river of time
crashes over
like a waterfall to
the bottom...

of my soul.

I glide like the gull,
drifting in and out of
the cool mist
rising.

When I
seen Ophelia's mirage I
dove
toward the water...

" NANCY

Nancy, oh, Nancy, lain on your side,
‘Atop the gray waters, in high and low tide.
Your ropes, your stays, the new and the frayed,
Are scattered beneath Bodega Bay.

Nancy, sweet, Nancy, your windows so dipped,
Like six drunken sailors who’ve dizzily tripped.
And hanging brown curtains can no longer hide,
The drowning of pencils and log books inside.

Nancy, oh Nancy, where have you been,
Through years of deep waters, in stillness and winds?
Did your hull strain, did it then heft,
When your old captain hoisted a net?

Nancy, sweet, Nancy, don’t say good-by,
There’s still one way to rise up and fly.
Some buoys and booms, and diggers besides,
Can loosen your hull, set it upright.

Nancy, yes, Nancy, Captain can scrape
Your hull and your deck, and your wood plates,
So you can once more, at dusk or in day,
Bring back fresh fish, to Bodega Bay.

IN HELL WITH NO COOL WATER

An Old & New Aged Negro Spiritual
by James Edward Lee Sr.

It's hot all over and I'm so thirsty
It's hot all over and I'm so thirsty
It's hot all over and I'm so thirsty
OH! brother won't you give me some
Won't you please give me some
Mercy Lord have him give me some water on the tip of his thumb

I did not repent, nor did I mean it
I fell to shame and sin
Got thrown in the pit, was condemn
Now fires all around me
Been sentence for eternity
OH! Lord it's hot down here, God please help me

It's hot all over and I'm so thirsty
It's hot all over and I'm so thirsty
It's hot all over and I'm so thirsty
OH! brother won't you give me some
Won't you please give me some
Mercy Lord have him give me some water on the tip of my tongue

My body sweating, burning, never consuming
Constantly raging, a blazing on fire
Gnashing itching my skin burning
Painfully paining ever, ever on and on forever more
Lord please cool me down sent a cold artic breeze
Father I'm so sorry stop me from burning up, please;

My eternal life is over because I disobey
Should have repented, turned around before I death day came...

It's hot all over and I'm so thirsty
It's hot all over and I'm so thirsty
It's hot all over and I'm so thirsty
OH! brother won't you give me some
Won't you please give me some
Mercy Lord have him give me some water on the tip of his thumb
