Everlasting Sunset

Here I stand
at the edge
of night
the scent of
roses and sweet nectar
fills the air
the moon and stars
sparkle and shine
with such radiance and beauty
the ocean so full
of life rages
as a gentle breeze
begins to blow
as the stars
sparkle down
to the shimmering ocean
with the scent of
cherry blossoms
as the night
melts into the dawn

The Four Letter Word

Four letters put together to create one word,
with an impeccable definition.

It is a strong word,
Close to the heart, yet
far from the woman you Love.

Butterflies flying, flapping their
orange and white wings in the summer heat.
The butterflies flap, flap their beautiful wings
together in the summertime of Love.

For Love is beautiful, like the summer preludes!

Four letters composed, to a Chopin's masterpiece.
The Romantic pole reaches out, to touch, to hold, to Love.

For these four letters are easy to read
and put together to create a complex concept
with a universal definition.
A four letter word, easy just to say,
but it is harder to show.
For Love is a simple word made up of simple letters,
but a complex meaing that takes most lifetimes to comprehend
and others a short while.

For I've seen hearts broken
and hearts put back together,
with this simple word.
My heart burned, brused, stabbed
knows the dangers of this simple, four letter word.

Love, some think it is a game
to play when you are bored.
Destroying self-esteem of girls,
who are already weak and nieve.
They long for love, but find surrealist dreams,
and see the Man of their dreams slip away in the night.
Gone without a trace.
While she is sucked into false promises,
from simple minded boys,
with only one thing on their mind.

Love..., it is a joke to some.
"I love you," is a laughing stock,
while a slap in the face, and disrespect is in fashion.
Girls, foolish girls walking in lonesome heartbreak,
saying they are in Love.
It is sad to see, and hard to hear, I know it is.

And to me Love is sometimes fair,
and most times a cruel joke.
Love, this four letter word is simple to say, but hard to comprehend.

Love me and I shall take you by the hand
show you caves of mystery,
and skies of grace and meadows, filled with flowers,
dedicated just for you, no one else, but you.
We can make Love on the sandy beaches, under the moonlit sky
under the still stars and shooting ones too.
Have a romantic dinner of oyster-shells and champange and kiss each other,
till we drown in intoxication and fall asleep in each others arms.

huh, Love... A simple, four letter word, that is easy to say,
but even harder to show.

My Wishes are Simple

My Wishes are Simple

My wishes are simple,
my desires few,

to gaze upon an ocean,
and marvel at a solitary drop of dew.

My wishes are simple,
my dreams not too grand,

to feel the waves teasing my tired feet,
with no footprints left in the cool, wet sand.

My wishes are simple,
my thoughts serenely gentle, calm,

my heart resting beneath a swaying palm,

healing my being, caressed by nature's soothing balm.

hello! hey! boungiorno! what is the date?/
this world of dimensions created duality/
no letters/ no words/ are enough to express/
someone like you/ in reality/

i filled all your emptines/ MY still quiet bay/
as Jhon opened world in his Yoko/
you searched perfect princes/ looked for "right him"/
now at only one overman looking/

i swear/ i will hold you/ as much as i can/
would become all the axes/ and outer space/
voice is speared by the screaming wind/
falling down/ flakes to your place/

going crazy just seeing your knees/
don't regret anything/ my Benito/
unbelievable/ perfect/ unbearable/
you whisper/ "la comedia e finita"//

i want it bad

gimmie, gimmie, gimmie.
you've got me begging like a baby.
and you know i am such a lady
but this gold has got me crazy.

hazy, hazy, hazy,
under skies of purple daisies.
i'm pouting my lips like a young girl.
and i can't help how my toes curl
every time you bring that glamour around.

honey, hope you haven't forgotten
i only smell this sweet
because i'm spoiled rotten.
no one deserves so much so fast
but i found that it doesn't hurt to ask.

ever since i was little
i knew how the world worked.
manipulate and replicate
until the world is yours to take.

is it a sin to have your cake
and eat it too?
even if the party wasn't for you?
the name on the cake says "princess"
and i'll blow out the candles till i'm blue.

because i'm royalty, now.

with eyes made of diamond
and a heart of coal,
soaked in silk worth more than el sol.
i'll meet you downstairs by the bar.
when the sky's as rose tinted as your glasses
i'll help you dig up treasure in the sand by la mar.

Pick A Rose

If we are willing to learn, life is willing to teach
If we are willing to listen, the sounds of life will reach

If we are willing to receive, life has much to give
Let's take what life gives, make the best of it, and live

Sometimes, bad things will happen to good people and all of us
When trials come, be still and please do not rush

We do not always know what life will bring or share
We do know that others care, and will help us bare

There are peaks and valleys; there are some tricks; but there are more treats
Life is sometimes cold and bitter; but more often, it is warm and sweet

There is a little of the bad, sad, and ugly; but life is really mostly good
Life can’t be all good because we don’t always do the things we should

Ignore the promises of the “quick fix”; it takes time for the wounds to heal
Don’t seek the “get rich quickies”; such likes are usually schemes and tricky

So slow it down a notch or two, and get to know the good life
It’s staring us in the face, offering opportunities and grace

Take some time off; take a break; get away; and take a walk along the beach
Take a trip, but not on a plane; relax and take it easy on a slow moving train

Turn off the alarm clock; don’t answer the phone too quickly; smell the colorful roses
Live and love the good life; pick a rose, or maybe two; and share them with someone you love
