Goodbye, My Child

Where cradled canyons sing
Of ebony wood in the forest
There lies a gurgling spring
Where cockcrows sing their chorus
To the melody of singsong birds
There I’ve concealed my sensuous words
Filled with befitted signs
The saccharine whiff of my designs

Come to me my mortal youth
To the wild realm of your truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only your tears be found

Where the fogs of night are fountains
Spills of glistened moon ignite
By distant silhouette mountains
We dance with passion of fight
Entwining ancient stance
Mingling hand in hand we dance
Till the mountains smile on high
Near and far we spring
To pursue the realest of dreams
While the world cries at its seams
Anxious in trouble to cling

Come to me my mortal youth
To the wild realm of your truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only your tears be found

To where the ridges merry make
From the beaks of wooden bright
In sparkly pools the ghouls awake
That scarce to stir our night
We watch for seekers down under
Muttering secrets in their soul
We bid them lucks of shivers
Dipping gently in
From reeds that hide a tear of a foal
Under the gentle rivers

Come to me my mortal youth
To the wild realm of your truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only your tears be found

Far away she shall ever churn
The taciturn eyed
She’ll listen no more to turn
To the working mills beside
Or the scrubbing of the barn
May peace weave in her song
She shall wave in the yarn
To a haven known as Belong

Come to me my mortal youth
To the wild realm of your truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only your tears be found

For she comes, the mortal youth
To the wild realm of her truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only her tears be found

A House On the Cliff's Edge

There is a house on the cliff’s edge,
Around a quiet, unmarked shoreline
At night, the tide lifts high against a foggy moon
In the morning, gloomy clouds settle with the sea
At times, not even the birds are seen or heard
The house is left to nature’s caress

Home-crafted seashell chimes sway and sing with the wind
Crushed sand dollars lie together on the back porch
The shells were once whole, collected by the former owners
Long gone are they now, smiling with the moon
The owners are the very sound of the ocean spray,
Striking the rocks, announcing the cool dawn of day
They are not the dark, empty rooms,
The rooms that nobody thinks of as they go about their lives
The quiet owners are long gone—thought of only by one
A stillborn legacy about as tiresome as the sun,
When the clouds crisp out its beams . . .

A seawater puddle is in the middle of the dining room
Nobody knows it sits there, sinking in the floorboards
It used to be a far larger puddle after a storm,
Stealthily leaking into the house
But now it is small—so small—and the boards are moist,
Moist with its only companion amongst the instilled silence

Nobody thinks of empty, abandoned rooms
Nobody remembers the former owners
They were not much for socials and gatherings
They always lived their quiet, happy lives
Without a care of the outside world,
Far from anybody’s thought
Miles from the nearest home
Where the next generation comfortably lives

He never finished fixing that leak . . .

Sometimes the puddle gets bigger after other storms
And when it does, there is almost life there again
You can see the chandelier reflected on the unperturbed water
As a crystal dangles and falls from on high
The dark silence following the drop is as deep as thought . . .

Nobody thinks of empty, abandoned rooms
Nobody remembers the former owners
There is merely a house on the cliff’s edge
Around a quiet, unmarked shoreline

Lullaby of the Night Crescent

Hold my hands and sing me to sleep

Before the dreams sink too deep

Through the night walk me to the shore

To a land where greetings are peaceful snores

Let the moon talk about the day

Let it tell off our journey to the bay

Let the stars carry me with the morning breeze

Back to the fields, the empty willow trees

Let the wintersun embrace the darkness in my head

Let it lift my soul from beneath the bed

Down the beach and on the shore

On the clouds with worries no more

Free of speech, my mind sinks to sleep

Free of love my heart trembles to keep

Free of fear, my shudders float astray

Free of noises my ears chase away

To safety to nothing make me see

To claim a state I may never be

Take me to the old willow tree

Where the white snow buried me

Blown Away

Stand here crucified with sin
Pummeled by the howling wind

Arms stretched wide, just you and me
Thrown to the mercy of the sea

Torn open to the blackest ocean's
Hypnotic, murky, moody motion

Pulled to the edge and feeling small
Drawn here by your ghostly call

Rooted there on ancient stone
Petrified, I'm not alone

Through violent waves I search for calm
Trusting you'll do me no harm

Souls screaming, shattered space and time
Take back what's yours, give me what's mine

Tortured surf, I feel your pain
I will not sink in you again

Jet black water, purple skies
Stung my ears and pierced my eyes

Primal, raw, bathed in your song
Part of you, though don't belong

Your ice cold breath whipping my face
It's time for me to leave this place

I turned my back in to the night
Stare up at your guardian light

Black hounds descend and steal the day
Pounding heart, I'm blown away!

Who am I?
Am I defined by what is near in sight?
Am I defined by what I have done,
Or am I defined by what I could become?

Perhaps I'm of no use.
To him, or her, or I, nor you.
Or perhaps I'm too misunderstood to be defined,
And it is something like understanding that comes in time.

And if to the world I'm never shown,
Yet in my own light I've grown and grown,
And so I can know no happiness but my own--
The reason for my smile, to you, will forever be unknown.

I do not pray for the world to know my name.
For it and verse; the letters are the same.
And if a man should find his sorrow in what he reads,
I pray his pain my words to keep.

Should his eyes rain on my page,
Better tears than storms of rage.
And if a man should find his sorrow in what he reads.
I pray his pain my words to keep.

And if to the world you're never shown,
Yet in your own light you've grown and grown,
And so you know no happiness but your own.
Let the reason for your smile, to you, only be known.

Caution - Fireworks

E-Z Glo Punk, Lightning Flash,
TNT Devices will burst, do crash
Southern Night, Piccolo Petes
       are hard to beat...

I like hand held Sparklers, Tanks
 flashing fountains, Solar Flare
Six to #20 Gold I have to share,
 no incidence, no burns, thanks...

  Whistles blow, fountains glow,
pop'n sounds, entire sky all aglow
I love those colors, high an low
  trails eched onto my retina
inspired me to let ya know

  Now you close both eyes
in pitch dark, what a surprise
for you to see, right there
 darkness, absolutely anywhere
beautiful trails of lights in motion

The Four Letter Word

Four letters put together to create one word,
with an impeccable definition.

It is a strong word,
Close to the heart, yet
far from the woman you Love.

Butterflies flying, flapping their
orange and white wings in the summer heat.
The butterflies flap, flap their beautiful wings
together in the summertime of Love.

For Love is beautiful, like the summer preludes!

Four letters composed, to a Chopin's masterpiece.
The Romantic pole reaches out, to touch, to hold, to Love.

For these four letters are easy to read
and put together to create a complex concept
with a universal definition.
A four letter word, easy just to say,
but it is harder to show.
For Love is a simple word made up of simple letters,
but a complex meaing that takes most lifetimes to comprehend
and others a short while.

For I've seen hearts broken
and hearts put back together,
with this simple word.
My heart burned, brused, stabbed
knows the dangers of this simple, four letter word.

Love, some think it is a game
to play when you are bored.
Destroying self-esteem of girls,
who are already weak and nieve.
They long for love, but find surrealist dreams,
and see the Man of their dreams slip away in the night.
Gone without a trace.
While she is sucked into false promises,
from simple minded boys,
with only one thing on their mind.

Love..., it is a joke to some.
"I love you," is a laughing stock,
while a slap in the face, and disrespect is in fashion.
Girls, foolish girls walking in lonesome heartbreak,
saying they are in Love.
It is sad to see, and hard to hear, I know it is.

And to me Love is sometimes fair,
and most times a cruel joke.
Love, this four letter word is simple to say, but hard to comprehend.

Love me and I shall take you by the hand
show you caves of mystery,
and skies of grace and meadows, filled with flowers,
dedicated just for you, no one else, but you.
We can make Love on the sandy beaches, under the moonlit sky
under the still stars and shooting ones too.
Have a romantic dinner of oyster-shells and champange and kiss each other,
till we drown in intoxication and fall asleep in each others arms.

huh, Love... A simple, four letter word, that is easy to say,
but even harder to show.

Albert The Alligator, Florida University Mascot Story

A green sweaty swampy land
Maybe no place for a man
But it is a home to many creatures
Such as our friend's the alligators

Now not so long ago,
In their steamy mysterious habitat
There was a fog so dim it almost made it black
and it had large limb's that hung low on the trees
And each slim blade of grass went an inch above your knees

All gators that lived here
seemed to be very ornary and mean
And it was considered ordinary
To attack their peers With bone crushing teeth

One could ask,
Why are they so mad?
But it's not their fault
It's just the way they were taught how to act
Ever since their speckled eggs hatched
And learned how to make their jaws snap
However, not all gators were like this
There was one who was filled with happiness
He wore a blue hat and a bright orange shirt
Everyone reluctantly called him Albert

Because Albert happened to be completely different
All the other gators kept him at an arm's distance
They called him names and spat in his face
But his joy just never seemed to fade

See Albert had a huge dream
His dream was to be with the humans
As they yelled and screamed
For the local school's winning football team

Out of nothing but sheer excitement,
Albert shared this with the others
But they all laughed even his brothers

So Albert decided right then
to not care about what anyone said
And to pursue his only dream
No matter how long or tough it may be

The next day Albert left that dreary swamp
On mission to prove the nay-sayers wrong
And when he left that dim fog grew so dark
You could not see or hear a big dog's bark

So he made his way to the nearby school
Where he saw not no one, not a single soul
Every building was empty
From the top to bottom floor
The all of a sudden, Albert heard a thundering roar
"Romp!, Stomp!, Chomp!, Welcome to the Swamp!"

He rushed to the football stadium
Where he was met with open arms
He finally felt accepted, safe from abuse and harm
So with his new friends, he rose up in exultation
His life was anew, he was the love of Swamp Nation

As I gazed into the sky in the middle of the night, to my surprise I saw an object coming towards me from the moon.
From an object it turned into a fascinating creature, from a fascinating creature it became an indescribable paragon of beauty.

She was so seductive and attractive. I could not resist her. Her love is like an ocean that has o end.
She is like an angel that has no spot or wrinkle.
Her hair is like the expensive wool of Lebanon.
Her lips, so smooth and attractive
Her tongue, instinctively seductive and ravishing

To my surprise and amazement, she turned her back at me methodically and rhythmically.
She mysteriously shook her waist and I saw the most well carved art work of the Creator.

I saw her well-constructed behind invitingly stirring at me.
How could I resist such one in a lifetime offer?
Then turning directly towards me, I saw the most tempting and sensuous breasts in the whole universe.

Both breasts danced like a football in the field of play.
Now, I am trapped. No way out. Who will rescue me from this illusion. Illusion? No, I would rather call it fantasy. But no, it became a reality that I cannot but face.

Oh! Queen of the night you are just a relic of pleasurable island of paradise and unending love.
Please take me on a ride to your world of Eldorado.
Queen of the night
You are my queen of the night.

Evening walk on the beach

I walked alone
along a sandy and lonely beach.
The raging waves from the sea
crashed onto the slimy sea shore.
The riding waves were white and bare,
but when they violently crashed, turned white and black.

I walked along the lonely beach.
Listening to the seagulls chatting
on silver rocks and boulders.

I sat near the shore.
The waves coing in and out
crashing violently on the silver rocks and boulders.
I sat there, lonely skipping pebbles into the vase and endless sea.
The waves came in and swallowed the pebbles, I threw its way.

The sea crabs wabbling from side to side, came up from the shore.
They kept me company on a lone and quiet evening.
A lone dog walking without an owner
came and curled up next to me,
and barked at the chattering seagulls.
They flew in panic toward the setting of the Red Sun,
and disappeared into the evening paradise.

The lone dog gazed upon the red sheld sea crabs,
and chased their wabbling bodies away
back down to the slimy sea shore.
And at the setting of the evening, I was alone.

Soon I had seen something
that had shocked me,
A young and beautiful gypsy woman.
She crossed my path along the lonesome beach.
All of a sudden the beach became full with love and life of all kind.

The lilacs, and roses, and violets and daisies
grew tall and bloomed, like madmen.
The waves pulled in by the full moon,
that shinned upon me and the Gypsy Woman.
She was decorated with ragged skirts and blouses,
with shinny, white pearls around her neck,
and golden bracelets around her wrists.

She smiled at me.
I smiled back at her.
Her hair black, with a vail of flowers around her head.
She stopped me and held my hand.
I was astonished and afraid.

What was this stunning and beautiful woman doing to me?
A victim of lost love and heartbrake.
I had no money, no jewlery.
I asked her what she wanted.
She replied with loneliness in her voice;
"To be loved."

I pulled her in, and kissed her,
and whispered softly in her ear,
decorated with silver earrings;
"Me too."

We joined hands and walked the lonesome sandy beach.
Listening to the waves, now softly coming in and pulling out.
The shore, now not so slimy,
and the silver rocks and boulders sleeping so peacefully.
I turned to her and she smiled at me.
I held her in my arms and kissed her upon her sweet brow.

Dark Eyed Traveller

Standing at the tavern door, eyes dark and brooding
Neath his floppy hat, stared into the crowded room,
A Raven flew from his shoulder settling in rafters high,
He smiled a sardonic smile and ordered a mug of ale.
All turned to look at this dark eyed traveller tall,
His leather boots dusty ,cloak trimmed with mud,
And from his belt around his coat hung a dirk long
No one thought to say a word they tried to look small.
Around the smoke filled room his gaze did wander
Settled on a crowd of rowdy sea going lads noisly
Drinking ale and rum and telling bawdy tales,
Just back from foreign voyage across the seven seas.
Within their midst a vision sat with a smirk on ruby lips
Long hair framed her face like waves of swelling sea,
Like kelpie mane, ran that hair ,her eyes like deep sea green,
And at once his dark eyes shone beneath that floppy hat.

The night wore on, the air grew warm, the raven fluffed his wings
From somewhere a shot rang out lodging in rafters deep,
Laughter raucous and shrill cut across the misty room,
Silence fell heavy among the gathered crowd.
He slowly turned his head in the direction of the rowdy lads
Dark eyes flashed as stepped towards where they sat,
As one they rose and laughed in his face, swords drawn,
In his hand a wooden staff and they laughed no more.
Faces stunned into disbelief at what they had seen,
Around his feet six men lay still blood seeping from their wounds,
He turned on his heel and slowly went through the door,
The Raven cawed, spread his wings as he flew out the door.
Standing by his horse the sea going beauty waited patiently,
She smiled as he approached with a swagger and dark eyes flash
He tipped his floppy hat and beckoned with outstretched hand,
She went to him in full embrace held him like a band.
They travelled the land, the sea faring beauty and the dark eyed man,
Their tale told throughout the fair sun kissed land,
From village to village and taverns where seafaring folk met,
The legend grew of the Dark Eyed traveller and his mermaid bride.

The Maker Of Miracles

I am the maker of miracles a real spiritual man waltzing through shadows as they pull me back in I know I must escape them any way I can I know the way out like the back of my hand It's just me and the maker together, he and I I told you God is in me you just thought I was high talking with the Zeta's they tell me just why everything has an ending and the old me, must die I'm Calm as a bomb in the eyes of a storm they stare upon me as if I've been warned turn me inside out as a goodness is born I wear my battle scars so stars know I'm war torn When the gift of life is freed from inside the fire starts fading then the anger subsides like the great phoenix, I go back in time a miracle is born and now that I'm revived in my new life, I shine.

A Blue Boy's Death Wish

A fragile mind breaks
Wake upon the rock laden shores
A muffled heart begs to echo
Whispers lost among a velvet chamber

Dusk comes premature time and again
Dropping the curtain on an optimistic sunrise
If you never witness dawn
There is no tomorrow

Always the dreamer aches
Never awake to make real what he desires
The restless corpse walks blind
Dead ends seem fitting for one of the kind

Lost in the labyrinth of strangling vines
Love is the motive and the weapon
Taking root in throats dry from weeping
Sprouts of amnesia in place of smiles
A garden called heartbreak holds onlookers captive
The comfort takes hold, sets in the bones weary of searching
A plea for rest lands on deaf ears

The hollow boy tires of himself
The last request he will ever make
"End me"
Lost and tired
He wishes to be weak no more

Beach of Despair

The darkness of the night and the depths inside Is clipped by the glare of the soulless dim moon Slicing through the water, breaking off the tide A black crow belts his caw making one to swoon There’s a straw house, quite decrepit and lonely No light strays inside this house which is empty The beach of despair carries many footsteps With all seeming to end nowhere, no free steps

Your Glory inside

When I lay down the night before,
I woke up to find Your Glory inside,

When I woke up to find Your Glory inside,
I bowed down at Your feet,

I crossed over the Jordon and fell at Your feet.
I Praise You now and Praised You then,

When I woke up to find Your Glory inside,

how wonderful now when I woke to find,

Your Hand in mine,
Your my Hope Lord,

Your my desire,
My Savior,My King.

One day, when I lay my head down,

I will wake up to find,

Your Glory inside!

Calling Out

The shadows over take my mind at times

but your love stands so true for me

it takes care of the pain I feel

but when the shadows call it seems so loud

when your soft whisper is covered by clouds

Why so faint is Thy voice for me

did I fall to hard inside this hole

Do the clouds stand so close for a reason

let me out of this season of darkness

let me hold Thy hand inside mine

keep me warm and fill my heart

I love the way you touch my face

when the tears fall and you open your warm Embrace

Your truth is all I need to live

a true life for all to see

your hand and love guiding me

But I can't walk this road alone

I need to hear your voice inside

I need your touch so very much

I see the pain and feel it to

I need your love to lift the blue's

Take me now and use my life

Help me Lord, to escape the strife.

The water in my chest,
And my eyes, they burn,
Lungs burst for air,
They are losing all their turn.

My eyes see the light,
That swims in the water,
And as I sink,
My lungs burn hotter.

I try to breathe,
Yet only choke,
I scratch for the surface,
Pray that it be broke.

But I know that I,
Will soon touch sand,
But only beneath the waves,
I will never touch land.

So I close my eyes,
To be engulfed by the dark,
As as i slip away,
Shines bright, the mark.

The deeper I go,
My dress cling to me,
As I drown,
To the bottomless sea.

I Ignore Where To Go 'Ghazal'

I was staring at my left side, feeling the beats
my heart floats upon the waves tide, I ignore where to go

The beats are rhytmic,it is hard to keep up
with the waves are about me to kill, I ignore where to go

I tried to dive in this wave but I am beat
I cried to live in this cave where I can hide, I ignore where to go

The seats are reserved in despair whether the heat
burns,or the sea is to spill its darkness on me, I ignore where to go

I was staring at my right side, cannot feel my feets
my part gloats over my hellish ride, I ignore where to go

The neatest dark costume of life I used to wear
the dearest spark is consumed to chill, I ignore where to go

I prayed to survive but the wave to my strengh is unaware
It sprayed its salty water,I had to bide ,I ignore where to go

I hopped the wave, I wiped the salt and I felt neat
I hoped to wave ,to survive I took the pill, I ignore where to go

Hafssa is the only girl to save herself from this cussed wave
I strongly beat the swirl that used to put me aside, I ignore where to go

Robert Beach

With screams echoing through these halls,
Smoke begins to rise.
Retuning to these murder filled walls,
It's the past I have learnt to despise.
Lights flashing red, blue, and white.
Sitting up against the door,
We've held up one hell of a fight.
A knock on the door.
"You'll deal with my son first!"
They pulled my beaten brother by the wrist,
As they cursed,
Ignoring my bleeding mother.
Scared and traumatized,
We have survived.

These Salty Waves Pt 1

What am I supposed to think? What am I supposed to say? All these lies you bottled up come sweeping, crashing with the tides. My footing's gone, the ocean real, but how am I supposed to feel? And here I am, a drowning mess, a loveless lie, I do protest. And here I am a drowning mess. So all those things you said to me? Where they just lies out of pity? So all those things you said to me? Or am I lost in salty waves? Yes I know my future's grave. Or am I lost in salty waves? And now the panic in my head, when I should be tucked up in your bed, reels and reels right here instead.I'm going down, a sinking ship, funny what name drips off my lips. It is not God, or Angles plenty, or even that I'm just damn ready To let go of the hell and the lies. I'm wishing for your gentle eyes. Or at least the way they always seemed, but perhaps that's just this salty dream. I have no clue what I'm to do! A drowning hopeless mess, for you-- think it's cute, and oh so funny, but here's the bitter truth now honey. I'm going down. There is no help. I can't be saved by God himself. I put my life, my whole world of trust, and you've thrown it away for lust. Well what the hell's a girl to do? I'm just so entranced by you!

Going Down

Gushing waters surround me Swelling . . . swirling, the pressure is whirling The cries are gone But the wind still screams As the timbers of my exhaust Burst in violence at the seams! I am going down I welcome the tempest with a frown Broken mast amidst the swell Purging me deeper in this watery hell Bodies concealed within Soon the pressure will win Southward bound, pell-mell Into the blue, blackened demons of watery hell! Of sickening inevitably do I sail Into the depths of my demise Gone now are the magnificent, mortal cries Swallowed by the bulging sea The wind upon the splintered timber still screams As gleeful as can be! Going down I never knew I would falter and die in the deep dark blue Going down I see Past fly And wave with my sail the Future—goodbye

O' Sandy

As we lay beneath the moons glare
A simple look will never prepare
It seems quite
It seems peaceful
Without the light nothing appears displaced
Only that sight is a lie, not really a sight
The suns arrival comes with the truth
Now we can see what needs to be seen
It disguises as if it was a dump
Yet, it never was the place of any garbage
A day ago it was a living society set with a stage
The performance came her name was sandy
The audience took her act to heart
She took lives
She took memories
She tore us all apart
A scary performance, always to be remembered
Now to fix up, the damage that was widespread

Shadow Rock

Cobwebs cover the window sills
And dust chokes the doors
All is quiet, air stagnant as camera stills
Take heed, steer clear of these shores

On dark nights they shine the beacon
Sound the horn to signal danger
Tarry not, your resolve shall weaken
For its they you should fear, stranger

Dread not the sunken pirate ships
But here’s no safe harbor to dock
The night crew, the Graveyard Crypts
Man the lighthouse on this rock”

On The Beach

On The Beach
Imagine walking on a beach after you finish school. Enjoying time alone. Happy that your studies are going well. In your own little world. Then they come for you. Snatch you off the beach. Take you to their boat and kidnap you. You've never been so scared. Not knowing what's happening or why. Little do you know, you won't see Japan again. Enemy soldiers came for someone. They found you. They need Japanese citizens to teach spies the language. But you don't want to do this. You go crazy. Not in anger but mentally. Your 'life' there doesn't work out. Your fate is bad. 'Suicide' by drug overdose. Your body thrown into a pit with others. A terrible fate. North Korea did this to you. And to many more who are missing.

That's her name,
a small silhouette of her shame.
The simple games she plays; a smile worth nothing
certainly she isn't worth anything.
Trim and clean, no, not what she seems.
The straight edge of her hair,
oh, ever so fair.
Each cut tells a tale. She beckons in her unclear haze,
Is home, but it seems not so.
That's her walk; simple, well dressed.
The tip of her tongue, stayed from guilt causing speech..
Her teeth pale the calmness of her person,
Oh a smile worth nothing.
Every move she makes has some form of purpose;
she knows where she's ending up.
Anger-less, with searing shoal of blue waters.
Sensitive, what is an ocean of blue without rain followed by a smile?
Happy to say the least, loving to a fault,
tempered to the point of understanding.
Evil like the good that comes from some clean fun.
Awful at her best,
yet the worst compares so much better.
She walks in withered past and crumpled future.
If she falls no-one will pick her up,
yet her smile is worth nothing.
If she could talk she would tell her story.
Yet she can't speak,
her voice is gone.
Her love is shattered.
The lightning strikes the shore,
the sand wells up into glass, only to shatter,
shatter like her heart.
She thought she could swim,
the water how it cared now about her plight,
simply to toss her back to the glassy sands that cut her heart.
Here it would be,
she would cry without her voice,
her only defense, where,
as it was,
her pale smile.
Couldn't she see him and how much he cared;
He wouldn't know the knife had slipped,
or that sirens buzzed with retribution.
How long does a dark day last?
How long does a dark night last when even the day is dark?
Both could only last much to long for her,
yet, here came he with flowers to meet her at home.
She wasn't there, with which he carried heavy heart-
seeing the tape and the crying man.
When would daylight break?
Would the night ever set on her calm reprise?
Now they've sent her away; he's hung his head,
she's died inside, her apathy grown, how could she cry?
Mid morning, the light in the room was still the same.

me and the sea

The murderous monotony of every day, drives one`s life away, one breath at a time, with the mind pushed to the very edge and off the plateau where reason prevails. Where life is sold to death on the deed of fate one urges to run.
Far, far away from everything, into the rising Sun.Away from the cacophony, away from the din,Noises from outside and noises within.
At the edge of destiny and at the very edge of land,
One is driven to the ocean and mayhap a small beach of sand.
In the wee hours of morning, when the waves curl up gently on their sides and fall asleep on the beach and a brand new sun turns the morning to gold,
One hears the wind tease the palm leaves, a song, very comforting, timelessly old.
Feeling the warm and intimate touch of sand between ones toes, sinking into its embrace, the mind unwinding like a generator going off load,
Watching the water soaking the sands endlessly with its love and reluctantly returning to its abode.Ever unchanged ever cheerful is the song of the sea,
the wind plays music the spray cools the day and the gods come out for tea.
You join them in silent company as your memories hand you the drink of your life, made with the sweetness of beauty, bitters of truth, salts of success and a dash of lime,
At times like these one needs a friend , and the sea is close at hand, with its secrets well kept in the company of the rocks and the sand.
A good companion to think and share under the endless gaze of shamelessly blue skies,
About he hurt inside and about dreams often cut to size.
the night falls slow,
Acres upon acres of dark canvas, hiding something precious from our sight,
Only to be given away by the sharp shining points of light.
Through these little leaky stitches drips onto us the truth of our being,
The answer to every puzzle, the lock to every key, the subtle secret of every thing.
Yet we stumble on tricked by the snares of greed lust and gain,
Camouflaged the dust of ignorance, hidden to look plain.
Everything calms. playful by the day, violent in the evening the wind calms to a sigh,
Running to you a message from the horizon which really is the upside down earth smiling at the sky.
Ever so sly sleep steals ones wakefulness, to disappear with it till sweet dreams announce the break of dawn.
The night leads the moon naughtily behind her, swaying long dark hair, on bare brown curves countless stars adorn,
Silent giggles echo away into the distance as another morning is born.

Fleece Quilt For Curious Stars

Gentle ripples float about his wheels, searching inquisitive around spokes, questioning apparent lack of motion, now the little fish turn their backs and swam back. Eyes intrinsically profoundly fixated on innermost thoughts, where loud voices debate the time away in warm orange evening glow, fleece quilt for curious stars Ears catch finest nuances in vibration inside, the soft rumble ebbs into loud roar of high tide and first waves leap and lap at his numb feet with never ceasing hunger As if with sorrow, he pulls the rims and wheels himself out, thoughts collected and arranged in fluctuations Undulations and arranged back into working order *** February 18, 2017

A Message To Sangmi

You've succeeded in breaking my heart,
but you can't break my pen.
I'm writing..
Can you stop me?

You were
playing like a child,
twinkling like a pearl
and smiling like a dream
when I suddenly loved you
and you suddenly hated me!

While commuting to school,
I used to repeat
my eyes aren't enough.
I need a million eyes
to realize some of your inconceivable charms!
Your mind isn't enough.
You need a million minds
to realize some of my massive love for you!"
and I used to smile.

While going back home,
I used to repeat:
"Thinking of Sangmi is a homework
that I can't finish,
and to be honest,
I never want to finish!"
and I used to cry.

I didn't come to this land
to submit my heart and go back,
but I did!
Sangmi, I love you!
I love you, Sangmi!

In every meeting,
you could see the love in my eyes.
You could see it in every gesture
and feel it in every word I say.
And I could see your hate for me clearly.
I could feel the unjustified disparagement.

Although you're the only queen,
your face is the only face
and you voice is the only voice,
I can't be a slave.
However, I can keep loving you forever!
Now, you can travel!

Peace is not Far

my emotions to art anger for a start!
it makes me stark, open so i hark to the universes spark,
and from the dark peace at heart,
dedicated to a start,
and a future apart from this cold dark December arc,
to each plays their part, entwined its called art,
the beauty afar only seen when on par,
reminiscent they always are,
Peace is not Far.
