Seize The Moment

Live for today, our wisdom cries,
On looking back through endless years
To youthful days with mackerel skies
When joy of living outweighed fears

Let's seize this moment while we can
Latch on to this day of life,
Those inner joys shared when a man
Does truly love his loving wife.

Leave old age for the elderly;
Let them reminisce
About the past, the things they've done,
The good old days they miss.

With age and wisdom as our forte
Let's love and laugh and roister.
Our ship has finally made the port;
The world's at last our oyster.

Our best of times ahead still lie
With greater happiness than ever.
Though yesterdays have all flown by
Tomorrow's dreams will last forever.

A poem wrote by me, based on Person who is a deserving icon but still struggling hard with his career life and addressed as disturbed creature.

DISTURBED CREATURE--> Am I ??       BY Mrs.Madhavi Suyog Pagare

Am I so insane, Am I so mad,
Dramatic mood of mine is so die hard.
Destroyed my peace, Shattering my dreams,
People call me as disturbed creature.
As like mounting the pain, attenuating the drain!!

Digesting my feelings lying inside me,
Strangely nobody cared, call me sick.
Teasing me lavishly and my heart is pricked,
Hurted me like hell when addressed me as stupid.
As like showering rain, missing on the lane!!

Time lapse in journey of life,
Can hamper anybody on its path.
When I see innate reflex of mine,
I always use to brightly shine.
Though possessing every job attributes of mine,
I never thought the authorities will ditch and hamper my career line.
Falsely acting bloody swine, making my image as fade as wine.
As like affecting harmonious divine, my soul was, as is transparently pristine!!

Destroying me and testing my patience, Never wanna give up.
Transformed deviations, wanna rightly screw up.
I wanna raise up, I wanna shake up.
I wanna wake up, Tranquilize my mind.
Unzip the professional life compressed by the culprits.
Wanna explore myself, driving the motivated heights of journey.
Lastly waiting for the optimistic opportunity.
Cuffing the suspect ,I wanna rejoice by my pattern of life!!

A Farmer's Eyes and a Sailor's Shadow

A thorough yield
On a farm field of far east
It took me time to realize
How far I am to my far east of coast

Call of my weather
Call of my winds
I sailed further and farther
To my naked coasts
Naive songs, Nimble rains
Nile of rivers, Nascent clouds

Reaching this far
I kissed my earth
Ground of my grief
Glory of my ghosts
Glad is those leaves
However scanty they are

Cast is my shadows
No longer they hide
My colors and my figures
They cast numbers on stars
Measure their light
Scope my winters
Scale my summers
Scanty my rains
Scuttle I wish my springs

Now let me see my greens
Their leveling heights
Their leafy gaze
Their spiderly gesture
Their primordial texture
Now let me be slow
In company of my greens

Push Up

i could sit here. day in and day out
thinking of the most proper way
to let the ink in the pen spill out
but as of late im feeling prehistoric
so much weight on my shoulders
and i dont know where to go
resuscitate my soul
look back up and head to the goal

so much evil around. i feel like the devils workin double shifts just to bring me down.
on the road to redemption
you can take a seat up in the front section
just so you can feel the emotions
in this electric notion

i've done a lot of things that hide the halo
let it all collaborate when i medicate
now look at me, mind workin like plato
formulate a new path to take so i can
maneuver through all the mistakes
we all know we cant change what we've already made
but we can change the next thing we create
startin to sound like a serenity prayer
5 steps till im thirty
and the twenty four before i was never a player
found out when the lights came back on im strictly a lover
its the strongest drink for your soul, when its thirsty
so careful how much you intake or be left hungover
even worse be the one she ran over

i dont mean to come off like im too deep
but the obstacles made there way through just to scrape through
and leave me suffocating
just for me to re-invent a new way to breathe, re-decorating

is your life so complicated
you rather wet up your pillows and revoke from the life you live
just think of your kids mourning
theyll never see that pretty face in the morning any more
cheer your self up
you got a lot to live for
your a gem and im that friend
trynna appraise the value
that you dont see inside of you

just another day for him
goin about
searchin wonderin what his purpose is
running in circles
till he found a way through all the turbulence

The world is full of people trying to stand out.
But they don’t realize that they already do.
They try so hard to figure what life’s all about.
With all their piercings, Crazy hair, and fresh tattoos.
They miss out because of the worry they feel.
Will they approve of the way I dress, think, or act?
In the spotlight a few moments they might steal.
But some of the stupid things they do can’t be taken back.
I have a secret that only the few wise ones know.
Love who you are and forget what they think.
And all the good things in life will soon follow.
And you shall rise above all as the critics sink.
So meet the world with you head held high.
Let them see the beauty that is in you.
Let them see your happiness and joy inside.
And know that nobody needs to love you more than you do.

Gardens of the Heart

That tender gaze from cross the room,
The reaching out of hand so warm,
A phone call in the afternoon,
For comfort midst imagined storm.
Such trivial seeds when sown apart,
Beneath the surface soon mature
To cherished gardens of the heart
Where true loves flourish and endure.

Wandering Shoes

I didn’t grow up wearin' no wandering shoes.
No, I didn’t grow up wearin' no wandering shoes.
Mostly I just stayed at home, didn’t have no urge to roam.
I didn’t grow up wearin' no wandering shoes.

I didn’t wanna leave my neighborhood.
No, I didn’t wanna leave my neighborhood.
But my friends married, moved away; no gal asked for me to stay.
I felt it time to leave my neighborhood.

I didn’t loaf around in loafers,
But I snuck around in sneakers.
I marched around in Corc’rans lotsa klicks.
Spit-shined a dozen oxfords.
Once knew some secret passwords.
Now I’m slowly limping towards the River Styx.

I didn’t wanna travel round the world.
No, I didn’t wanna travel round the world.
Each three years I signed the lines, lived in Europe sev’ral times.
I kinda liked a trav'lin' round the world.

(repeat chorus)

I found I rather liked those wandering shoes.
I found I rather liked those wandering shoes.
Met a gal in Paris, France; we hooked up and took a chance.
Eventually I tossed those wandering shoes.

(repeat chorus to fade)

Coming from the misty lake Lough Leane
Came a beautiful maiden of the name of Niamh
Upon a mare, for she is not from the world of man
A seraphic princess from Anwnn
Upon the shores she claimed around his kin
"I have came for Oisin son of Finn"
"Maiden you come to me so alluringly
I am he, if we marry for all eternity!"

And so he rode upon her horse to the secrets of Anwnn
For he and she, they'd be happy for all eternity

Come with me to Anwnn
I am she, your queen Niamh
I have come for you Oisin, son of Finn
Don't leave me or you'll see
The age of man
The age of man
The age of man

If I hold on to strings,
That tend to slip away,
Does that mean I love things,
That I know will never stay?
If I hang on to a love,
that just holds me down,
Does that mean that my wings,
Won’t get me off the ground?
If I hold on to lies,
That I only half believe,
When I look in your eyes,
Will you look back at me?

Homeless food

                                              In a cipher of poverty
                                        These rich words postpone hunger
                                   Feed a famine
                               While a sole dies
I examine its corpse lying there
While I am elevated with the glue that killed it
                History made my days ugly
Touched my pen to wrestle anger
This bread I inhale repairs my lungs as I get glued on with a smile that makes me meet my maker in person
Legalize the glue so I can sniff the truth
Legalize the glue so I can sniff the truth

Nature Of History

In time, days, months to years

Is the failure of relationships
In January to July to December

And the shallow of rivers
In July, August to September

The destruction by earthquakes
In January, February to December

The reshuffle of accidents
In lakes, roads and in air

The manufacture of acids, guns, and robots
In laboratories, industries and employment areas

The color of rainbows
Blue, green, grey

The personality of people
Conceited, gloomy, temperamental

The training of soldiers, students, and also religions
In academy, schools and institutes

The birth of children
Over years and years all over the world

The truth of lies
In homes, schools up to work places

clocks that picture time

these days you barely see
the colors of people as they are
tomorrow looms
in places that i can't be

still i wonder will it all fall down

these days you're either right or wrong
sit back on ease and find rhythm to a song
running on e and i'm almost there
thinking maybe we'll make it
hell, we're almost there

still i wonder will it all fall down

these days it's you or me
i can picture
the things you're left to say
winters calling
and the darkness is sinking this day

still i wonder will it all fall down

these days you're either right or wrong
calling forgiveness it's either you or me
tomorrow turns in places that i can't be
the color's of people you barely see

"maybe i'll see you when you get there"

When love beckons

( Experimental Haibun) When love beckons, shall I follow? You may say, " Why? Don't you have plenty? " But, my dear, some corners are still empty. Flowers from the bush have twinkled their eyes, Others sprayed aromas and brought fire flies. Allurements are many and varied their beauties - Then, why shall I refrain from enjoying those cuties ... Drenched in love, amidst the orchids of rainforest - Your face is all over (C) Anindya Mohan Tagore (Bobby)

Against it all

The days are long gone
Nights consumed with the
Intoxication of laughter
They were the best
Young and restless
Waiting for the next best thing
Letting life expose itself
Setting our own
Standards and expectations
Responsibility was a rumor
Myths and fiction
We never paid attention
Those memories seem so distant
I hold them close as a reminder
I am not alone
Somewhere out there
You have not forgotten
Our youthful hubris
All the good fights we fought
Young and lost
Against it all

Upon the silent seafront under the scorching summer sun,
I hear a voice that cries out soft and faint as it sounded,
"O ci którzy mogliby mnie pomagac, daj mi! Daj mi!"
"It's on my head you stood, tall and vibrant under the watchful eyes of the blue sky.

Listen you!
I am a traveller from a far away antique land,
Whose shattered visage lies, whose cries tell tales of cuffed hands in the sand.
I am with whom by myself I define, in the eye of God a man, the egregious egoist,
And in the eyes of other men, the enormous load, the outcast old psychopath.

Listen you!
In these winds that bleed the quietest of all my taints and troubles, I complain not,
And by the thundery roars of the rains and all the fears and scares they give me, I manage a smile,
I am a traveller in a desolate land, unaware of whom I have become.

Song for my boy Freddy

I remember back when I was young. I was a difficult kid who spoke outta tongue.
Now I got a song that has to be sung. Wish I could go back when the school bell rung.
When you age it's only about money. Regret not going because, my nose was runny.
What bills is next the cable, or internet? Get my school work done then I'll be set.
There's so much on my plate no free time. Rainy days we would play in mud and grime.
These words and, dreams are all that's left. Gloating about my jawline, my unique cleft.
Now I worry if I will survive another rent? I'm dead broke and the moneys spent.
At least I can be happy inside this mind. Don't regret the childhood can never rewind.
My bodies unhealthy need to take my med. From inside this stomach. My kidney bled. No more soda and take away the beer. Dad needs stick around to hold my boy dear.

Oh how I hate being trapped inside the prisoners den. For you my son I'll always win.
Oh how I hate being trapped inside the prisoners den. For you my son I'll always win.
I'll shall never fall shall never cave. Just promise me. You'll never be a used up slave.
I'll shall never fall shall never cave. Just promise me. You'll never be a used up slave.

I give my all everything I possibly can. Kid your going to grow into a upstanding man.
Don't let this world tell you no you can't. It's something society will try and, plant.
There gonna tell you this is how it has to be. Forget there ideas form a beautiful tree.
Your first job won't be the only. Kick them to the curb say you will never own me.
Your my child you came from me. I already know the greatness that they will see.
Do this for yourself and not for me. Unlock your mind and, set those dreams free!

My hole my home

Here I am your fool again
waiting for your misdirection
I've fallen out of place again
won't you help me
find my home

Won't you help me...find my home
I just want to be all by myself
I just want to be..all..by...myself
I just want to be..alone
NOT care about no body else

I'm strung by out in space again
alone in this void..I call home

Won't you help me..find my home
I just want to be..all.by..myself
I just want to be ..alone
NOT care about..no...body else

Doing OK

Monday morning came with cold north wind
And I put my hat on, ducked my head
And faced the day again
And for me I just don't know no other way
Just like my daddy's daddy did
There's no one takes the blame
Let the wind blow where it may
Let the rain fall and I'm OK
Let time carve out the lines, in my face.
All I know is that I'm still alive today
And I'm a doing ok.
And my woman still holds me tight at night
Don't start no trouble won't be no trouble
Unless you want a fight.
Let the wind blow where it may
Let the rain fall and I'm OK
Let time carve out the lines in my face.
All I know is that I'm still alive today
And I'm a doing ok.

Abortion at seventeen

Abortion at seventeen
The shades of black within you surface
before you lose consciousness on the
sanitized bed of the hospital.
No friendly face is waiting outside.
Your age is seventeen… almost.
This is the age of the quick use and throw.
The shades of black make you take an oath,
just before sleep, medicated sleep,
that you won’t attach yourself to
anyone for long. You are cured
from romances, immune from love.

These are the words that belong to past,
I urge to tell more to see if tears
are going to make you less of a goddess
which I think you actually are.

age of disturbance

Uneasiness replaced tranquility
They forgot love and answered with hostility
All their actions and words are done in vain
Once great personalities now fading as though left in rain
Seduced by madness
Now intoxicated by riches from hearts of blackness
Their propaganda has nothing but lies to spread
And it leaves us with dreams misread
They give us advice they too should have taken
Hoping a new mindset awakens
They should have told us
Never make your decisions blinded by lust
I witnessed all their treasures wither into dust

Bones are Eternal

As the tick tock of time starts catching up with me
Soon these bones will be older as the cracks appear to see
Like a wine maturing so does my mind
Knowing full well I'll have to leave it behind
Ironic really striving to be the best
I'll end up on a pile
with all the bones at best

Will I return, that is unclear
Yet worrying over that wont help me here
Will i meet my dear departed
That left the earth before I
Which journey should I take on this path where i die

I've watched the world change along with surprise
Seen the rain forests dissapear watched the sun start to rise
Watched the waves engulf the shore
Then disappear into the still calm waters once more

I've sat with the rich and dined without a dime
Sinned with the sinners and drank their fine wine
Yet the beauty I have is fragile I know
As I'll never see any of this again once I go

Fill my eyes with more than the seven wonders
Ill take all you can show me and more
I want more
All the riches you can keep
I want more
So much more for me to be
I want more
All the memories I can hold
Is this life eternal
Or will I just get old

Come and take me to that sleep
Across this life,death line
Where I hang like a pendulum
To and fro,living and dieng

Beyond love,greed and hatred
And all satisfactory needs
Spirits roam in sacred temples
Make me one,make me free

Enclose me in the lustful darkness
Of your death like arms
Make me a bird make me a raven
WiTdraw my knowledge,give me peace

Beyond the mountains above the clouds
Where music is louder than words
Come and take me to that sleep
Where hatred doesn't exist and love doesn't hurt
