Bad Karaoke - Grook

Encouraged by the masses is mediocrity, like when someone at a bar sings bad karaoke. As they belt out notes off key, we might give guffaws. Drunken with good will, though, we offer up applause. Written Feb. 14, 2016 for the Grook Contest of Silent One

This wind is not alone because it stays on the height,
And waits for golden dawns that follow after night;
It crossed many tempests, islands and an ocean dark,
It met the fairies and hobbits and the joyous lark.

While flattening blond fields, it thought a paradox
How Little Prince was taught on Friendship by a Fox:
While playing with the grass, and with the yellow maze,
While caressing the flowers’ feet, it heard a poet`s case…

This poet is like the hottest wind that lives on height:
Suddenly, his “light poetry” is seen as “poetry of light”.

Must I act Like a Goat

Must I act like a Goat for you to know
that I am not a Goat?
Goats are stupid and senseless but I am not!
Treat me not like a Goat 'cause I am not one!
You know it all but never give me a breathing space.

Must I act like a Goat to show you that i
Don't like your character and face?
You think I can't wait and see another
Who can over throw you in the same act.
Change your attitude towards others in your life.
We are all in a learning field of life.

You think that I am a Goat because I acted like one?
No I am not, I did that to get something from you.
Must I act like goat always to you in life?
I may be one today but tomorrow I will not!
Differentiate me from those Goats at your door,
I am not one of them!

In short, I meditate on the difference
Between Solitude and Loneliness
None is rude , none try to undress
The feeling , because high intelligence
Makes them find common recollections.
While a lonely person need no directions,
A solitary one has reasons for solidarity.
Thus, all we need to live Truth in Charity.

I took one look
It died before it spoke
No reason to read the book
The play she played was a joke.

Painting by the Numbers

Living off government welfare
Is like painting by the numbers
Not matter what you say
"It's not your art!"
And it's someone else's money!

Poets and critics lament like ants grasping at different parts of an elephant poor blind men could not grasp the metaphor
