Between the Lines of Poetry Soup

Between the lines of Poetry Soup
Lies partly hidden the real scoop

Poets with emotion’s overflow
Spillage of which, they do not know

Leaks between lines of what they write
Discerning souls, bring them to light

Fellow poets with the same disease
Wanting to love, wanting to please

Can read between the lines so fair
And see love affairs recorded there

And secrets longings all scream out
Though unstated, there is no doubt

Which poet is in love with whom
Which affair is destined to bloom

Clear to read Love’s Richter scale
The in between codes, never fail

Poems present and poems past
Love or friendship, which will last?

Terms of endearment, every one
Is a love song that can not be sung

Between the lines, you can’t deny
Is where love affairs are flying high

For we are poets one and all
Programmed, it seems, in love to fall…

With people whose words do ignite
Who caress the soul with sheer delight

Between the lines
Between the lines
The love is there
Between the lines

The long standing and hidden pain
The hints of a love gone insane

Between the lines
Between the lines
YOUR love is there
Between the lines.

A Different Verse

A different time, a different place
A different life and different face

Different wants and different needs
Different values and different creeds

Different Pomp and Circumstance
Different songs and different dance

Different likes and different hate
Different foods on different plate

A different boat on a different sea
A different you and a different me

How Many Times

How many times does God forgive,
Again and again, please just live,
How many times, can you fall down,
Over and over, you’ll be found,
How many times will I just pray,
For all your pain to go away,

For you were once my dearest friend,
In my heart your presence ends.

How many days go quickly bye,
How many birds sing when they cry,
How many cherubs fight for you,
How many angels dance the blues,

How many demons tried to take,
How many stripes for our mistakes,
How many times could I confess,
I never loved you any less
I never loved you any less.

How many times does God forgive,
Again and again, please just live,
How many times, can you fall down
Over and over, you’ll be found’
how many times will I just pray,
for all your pain to go away,

For you were once my dearest friend,
In my heart your presence ends.

Mixology Brews blends mixtures concoctions

By Sashi.Prabhu(zeauoxian0
(18th February 2012 nite at Kentucky shack on colva beach)
I was browsing through the menu and laid my eyes upon interesting cocktails and mock tails.
I snapped up the names with the blackberry camera and wove them together to couplets.
Dedicate this one to my friends who love and cherish the cocktails and mock tails.

With love from zeauoxian, black lady, Tom Collins, Three peaks merlot, white lady, John Collins. Between the sheets, pink pusy, screaming orgasm, Pink lady, lost bikini, orgasm. Misty nite, hairy navel, ding a ling, Sunset, buttock clencher, Singapore sling. Lady killer, fuzzy navel, coconut diaquiry, Bloody Mary, fenny wenny woo woo, orange diaquiry. Pure calypso, climax, kick in the balls, Caribbean fever, planter’s punch, rocks for the dolls. Peach pleasure, tequila sunrise, margarita, Pina coloda, sunset, caipirnha. Coco colada, slippery dick, the hammer, Gimlet, sweet nips, tequila slammer. Passona orange, passona lime, sex on the beach, Orange blossom, lime blossom. Passionate peach. Gin fiz, Cuba libre, Roby Roy, Black lagoon, black Russian, beach buoy. Fight fiesta, stinger rum cocktail, side car, Negroni, pink elephant, brandy lime shot from the bar. Mohjito, long island iced tea, whiskey sour, Renaissance merlot, vina tarapoca chardonnay. All these heady concoction, Many of them and lots of action. The science of achohol blending, of the art of mixology, All these to the tipper is fun and to do with a smooth tripology!!!!!!!!

Almond blossom, not amaryllis...
sweetness against pridefulness.

Say it with some intense feeling...
seek that flower expressing loving.

Almond blossom or lemon blossom...
revering love with an incredible charm.

Childness must not be unfaithfulness...
feel the sublimest joy of blessedness.

There are sweet memories with a primrose...
be captivated by a cheerful, delicate pink rose.

Almond blossom over a bunch of beauties...
you wouldn't let your choice ruin possibilities.

Oh, did you forget about the white water lily?
You may need it for truthfulness and fidelity.

A PBS SPECIAL: IF AS SUNG BY BREAD Mm mm, if I had a sweet tooth, I think I would be sugar proof. A cake would be nice to satisfy this appetite. Sweet rolls are in the stove. Let me turn my music on. I must send a wavelength to the cook. She or he will prepare bread, if his or her mood is good. I am mill in here. I am self-rising flour dear… Oh, she hears. Greetings darling! Hello Mill, she is retrieving me. I am about to be intensified. Oh, she coming back for me now. Sweetbread she will behold in her eyes. Many desserts to come, he has joined, shouted Mill and Self-Rising Flour. _______________________________________/ Sponsor: Seren Roberts Contest Name: "IF" as sung by Bread - write me a masterpiece Entry Date: March 29, 2014 Date Written: March 29, 2014

It's Time I was Moving On

Sad news today, February 6th in our year 2011
To "The Great Gig in the Sky" sell out in Heaven

My favourite blues rock guitarist, Mr Irish Gary Moore
Joins the "Midnight Blues, "Too Tired" no more will he tour

At fourteen years of age he received his first guitar
Like many budding rockers aspirations to be a rock star

The Beatles, Elvis Presley and the amazing Albert King
Heavily influenced this left hander, who made his right hand sing

As he grew past his teens, the genre he'd enter would mean
The likes of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers and Hendrix, now he's seen

Blues Rock it was to be, when Peter Green caught his ear
If you grew up with this maestro, you'll know his career

It started way back, way back in 1969
Skid Row, from Dublin he joined, as the music industry would find

This is where his association began, with Lynott, bassist extraordinaire
Many nights sharing the blues, this two Irishmen would share

His solo career just grew and grew, then into Thin Lizzy he would blend
Sharing the Black Rose stage with Phil his Irish friend

The blues became his life, with two Albert's who'd share his stage
Guesting with his 'Midnight Blues Band' many a jam they would engage

I now close my humble tribute, for he'll always be in my heart
On this day in Estepona, Spain, my hero in final depart

Not Your Fight

Dragging, lagging down this road,
Many things I was never told,
Stumble, tumble to the ground,
Looked up and saw no one was around,
Scraped and bruised... on both knees,
Begging for this disease to seize,
One more breath before I break,
When suddenly I realize You died for my sake,

When I can’t seem to find the words to say,
To cancel out these feelings of dismay,
When all I’ve seen was equivalent to shame,
And tornados wipe right through the pain,
When water washes the frailty and dishonor,
And most thought I was just a goner,
Your whispers penetrate my night,
Speaking out “this is not your fight”
“ I died to fill your life with might”

Holes in souls are hard to bare,
Especially when your scars are there,
Hearts that plead to overflow,
Sometimes bleed and cannot let go,
But through the madness and through the times,
There is only one name that comes to my mind,
Nails that sacrificed for our greater good,
Can relate to my deaths even if He was misunderstood,

When I can’t seem to find the words to say,
To cancel out these feelings of dismay,
When all I’ve seen was equivalent to shame,
And tornados wipe right through the pain,
When water washes the frailty and dishonor,
And most thought I was just a goner,
Your whispers penetrate my night,
Speaking out “this is not your fight”
This is not your fight,
This is not your fight.

''My Special Muse''

I can hear my muse weep and sigh;
I just listen and don't ask why.

her touch feels like a burning fire
and it's forever there to inspire.

she visits me in the cool of the morn
by the brooks where I was born.

there she reveals her magic powers
where I await amidst the leafy bowers.

amidst these leafy bowers by the brooks
beyond the hamlet and ruined rooks

I write all day for my special muse;
for if I write she'll never refuse

to be my muse until I am gone and dead,
when my poems are beloved and well-read.

Some waves wait for a sign from our moon;
The silver line will touch the cold room
Ready to move a night of special kind,
Trying to tame the cruel sea behind;
As they would catch in the same ring,
In which the human spirit may sing
The lyrics of the solitary golden rain,
While night is pulling the stars`train.
White waves’ struggle may retrieve
New hope for you to be ready to leave.
And so, tomorrow`s song of loud tone,
May find that man that speaks alone
And love that rows the invisible little boat,
With wretched birds of chattering note;
But on the heights,if hope`s sapphire is sad
While walking on the mountain red,
The dreams learn fly in the pure air:
As place, this heart, this times my dear.

The Deadly Dart

Wherever I go through out my whole life,
I end up struggling with lots of strife.
Thinking that my life is a total waste,
Wanting it to be over in a haste.

I can feel the pain inside my own heart,
Like someone through at my a deadly dart.
The wound is easing deeper and deeper,
Will the pain ever stop getting bigger?

Feeling emo is never a good thing,
Cutting your arm makes a really bad sting.
Blood is dripping from my arms and my heart,
Failing to dodge the largest deadly dart.

Drowning in all the lies and self pity,
I live each day but always feel sh*tty.
I have lots of thoughts about suicide,
But then I think about those who have died.

Those who have died not just from suicide,
But also those who are really nice guys.
...This "poem" was actually suppose to be a couplet (on any thing you want) for my english
class but i made this kind bcuz i was feeling emo that day...and also after i was done i read it
over and it almost sound like a rap song which, i guess, is kinda funny and cool.........

Private Nectar for Public Facing Lips

My every eye contact is a rhythm of a lovely song the melody continuously in play, all life long. Images of my ego, in black and white I submit settling in your sweet zone, no need for residence permit. Having a long shower with the morning dew shows anything is enough if it is from you. Your braids, scents and gestures won’t let me be sparking up fireworks, putting the mind in constant glee. My lust of you, the cover of my soul’s book up the stairs to a romantic anointing we already took. Presenting a package of experience with a diamond surface adulterated by paparazzi is the first line of our preface. A male nanny becomes the best when you’re in pains without uniforms, I’ll for you bring down the rains. A vacuum of decency from our folded bodies isn’t illicit to our erotic stunts the world of the wild will solicit. Even in the verge of a break up, against tabloids our hearts kiss putting into rewind, the motion pictures of our bliss. The sweetness of this private lust evolving day after day the effect of our public essence yet still making hay.

Song of love songs

“Come away, my lover, and be like a gazelle or like a young stag on the spice-laden mountains.”
Refresh your treasures, through springs that flourish and endless fountains,
My heart has searched for you for hours,
To smell your skin is as though I have fallen into a garden of everlasting flowers,
With eyes that pierce the depths of my soul,
Your love has truly fashioned me whole,
Yearning to awaken our deepest desires,
Yet, cherishing the journey, before we evoke this blazing fire,
My dearest love, spotless and pure,
It is your presence that allows my spirit to sore,
Your crimson lips rest softly, while welcoming my embrace,
Like the finest rose in springtime you rejuvenate this place,
A neck no other could ever compose,
Every part of you is perfection; my love for you simply flows,
I rejoice in knowing, that just like the promise of the evening moon,
You are my darling bride and I am your humble groom.

No Superhero

I believe in love,
Not in you

You've hurt a lot of people
That's something no superhero would do

Wimpy attempts prove one thing
You're desire for my love has no honesty

Did your time
Escaped your grind

Whatever is left behind
A toy maker can fix and polish to shine

Outcry of a broken heart

Even my mind not stilled by silence
my thoughts outraged with hurt and hate
as Im dumbfounded with confusion
leaving the cause to no debate,
I cannot tell you what is wrong
to tell you means I'd have to trust,
and my heart no longer feels willing,
beating only cause it must.

I feel a dead man live my life
I see his cold abandoned heart,
I hear his agonising cries
as he is torn more apart,
knowing no peace, no rest I find
having no comfort, stuck in a bind
a vagabond, alone in his life
Ive been cut off, betrayal was the knife.

awaiting death, and still much worse
my whole life upon this earth
seems like a scheme to take my worth
and bring me to nothing,
such is my curse
and i fear the effects
may never reverse
and make believe that I am cursed.
the way I feel too great for words
too great to bear such constant hurt
my soul depressed and left prostrate
before God to help, I hope it works. . .

Limbo Dancer

The limbo dancer, he so slim!
I think I might just fancy him!
His back so supple, his skin like brass …
But best of all is his little round ass!

Aaahh … limbo dancer! Limbo dancer, limbo for me …
Aaahh … limbo dancer! Limbo dancer, limbo for me!

The ladies love to see him perform!
That man can really limbo a storm!
They wonder just how low he can go …
Me, I don’t wonder … I already know!

Aaahh … limbo dancer! Limbo dancer limbo’s for me.
Aaahh … limbo dancer! Limbo dancer limbo’s for me!

This is a calypso rhythm.

Lyrics contest

“Through this world I’ve stumbled
So many times betrayed
Trying to find an honest word
To find the truth enslaved
Oh you speak to me in riddles and
You speak to me in rhymes
My body aches to breathe your breath
You words keep me alive”
I know these feeling, I’ve lived them well
In a world WHERE I could never tell,
I was once captured, they held me down
For many years I thought I’d never be found
Betrayal birthed roots that PRODUCED bad fruit
Denial hid behind smiles that bread life trials
But a burning hope, and flickering light
Lived inside, I just needed it to ignite
Perfect love, the only cure
To give me new wings and make me sore
I now can be still in words that are true
Unraveled deception, a restful view
Your words are serene, killing off the machine
I am embracing a life that I’ve never seen.

When I was a boy I’d hike through the woods
that were living out back of my neighborhood.
I’d go down to the stream and catch a trout
and marvel at nature that was all about.
When I got thirsty I’d go to this pool
and drink the water so clean and cool.
One day I went back there to get a taste
and it was polluted with industrial waste.

Chorus: This is my planet and this is my earth
this is the trust I was given at birth.
All of the water, the earth and the air,
is in my custody, is in my care.
When I was a young man I went off to war
to kill my brothers on a foreign shore.
I didn’t hate them, don’t know if they hated me...
(we were doing the business of the powers that be.)
We fought in a jungle that was lush and green,
made by God and so serene—
but it was where the enemy would hide
so we killed it too with an herbicide.

I became a consumer, used all that I could
of the earth and ore, the water and wood.
In the name of commerce, in the name of trade
I plundered the earth like a renegade.
The factories smoked till they hid the stars,
the rivers stank and the earth was scared.
I held my conscience, ripped up by the roots,
there was sap on my hands and crud on my boots.

My thoughts were like trash clogged in a drain
and regret ran thru me like an acid rain.
So I took a hike to the back my mind
when I was younger, in saner times.
I dipped my mind back in my memory pool
where the waters ran so clean and cool.
I became, once again that wide-eyed child
who had sworn his love for all natures wilds.

Lovely lacy writes what she knows
Her angelic voice continually flows
Reaching from past pain, darkness and despair
Restoring others faith with lyrics that are quite rare
Forgiveness and mercy dances on the stage
As the destiny healer writes with prophetic sage
Metal of angels, psalms of the redeemed
When delicate matters are uttered they just glisten and glean
Atmosphere changers
Silences all strangers
Environment alterations
With Warmth and supplication
Radiating spiritual peace
While chaining former raging beasts
Gifts of sunrises echo through
All this woman seems to do.

Music, music sets me free,
It lets me be who I want to be,

Lyrics, lyrics can lead to misery,
It makes me want to bleed,

Music, music makes me scream,
It scares the living soul out of me,

Lyrics, transform thoughts to actions,
It puts me in a tight contraption,

Music, soothes the soul,
It can also take a toll,

Lyrics, could make you cry,
It could make you want to die,

Music could make you feel worthless,
It could make everything feel worth it,

Lyrics, could lift you up,
It could also bring you down,

Music, can make you frown,
It could make you act like a clown,

Lyrics and music will always be around.

This man of mine, never one so divine,
He has touched my heart so many times

Just being with him makes me feel complete,
I enjoy him very much, he is so sweet.

How could I have found him?
Where did he come from?

To have found this man who found me,
Is it a part of a divine plea?

This man of mine so strong, so true
Who loves me in ways I have never knew

He is caring and giving so gentle so endearing
These words I am speaking are not even completing

I love him so, this man of mine
My heart is his, my life entwined

Together with Gods special touch
Bring us happiness hope and trust.

Party's Over

After all the fussing, fighting and talking
Up all night, with these floors I've been walking
You come in late once again last night
It looks like you had a real good time
Guess I'm 'bout to ruin a real good day
Party's over I've got somethin' to say
Yeah, I'm gone for good now get outta my way
There ain't nothin' you can do to make me stay
Don't try to stop me now I gotta go
But just in case you didn't know
How can you expect me to love you
When, darlin', you know I can't trust you
Baby, love can't live on alibies
Didn't your mama teach you not to lie
Guess I ruined a real good day
Party's over I got somethin' to say
Yeah, I'm gone for good now get outta my way
There ain't nothin' you can do to make me stay
Don't try to stop me now I gotta go
But just in case you raelly didn'tknow
I know all about your pretty little friends
And I'm sick to death of lies that never end
I guess I ruined a real good day
Party's over now I got somethin' to say
Yeah, I'm gone for good this time get outta my way
And there ain't a thang you can do to make me stay
Baby, someday when you're sober
Maybe you'll regret it but for now the party's over

Take My Hand

Take my hand, darlin’ come with me
Back to the way it used to be
Before troubles of this old world
Made me forget I was your girl
Let’s go back to a simpler time
When I was yours and you were mine
Together we can surely find
The love that we have left behind

Together forever
Our love we must treasure
Rebuild it, don’t kill it
I know you still feel it
Take my hand

Rebuild our love just wait and see
To the way that it used to be
Filled with happiness and trust
It is still there if we could just
Get to the way it was before
When each other we did adore
We can fall in love once again
Be so in love like we were then

Together forever
Our love we must treasure
Rebuild it, don’t kill it
I know you still feel it
Take my hand

Oh, oh, oh
Take my hand

All of One Kind

If I made a wish or
	If I wanted to pray
This is what I’d ask for.
	This is what I’d say:
Give us the seasons
	The flowers and trees and
		A song to share.
May we find peace
And see what the other sees.
We are all of one kind.

I’ll walk in your shoes.
	I’ll sing in your key.
Will you sing in mine and
	Will you walk with me?

When we’re afraid
	We stand on our own
But give me your arm
	And we won’t stand alone

As we work together
	I’ll try to trust you.
As we seek an answer
	Can you trust me too?

Oceans and mountains,
	Above us only sky.
The earth is where we live.
We must share it, you and I.

Give us the seasons
	The flowers and trees and
		A song to share.
May we find peace
And see what the other sees.
We are all of one kind.

Johnny 's Song

He was born to sing upon his land
Now he's resting in God's Everlasting hands

Didn't matter who you were
That voice you'll remember for sure

A voice that could shed many a tear
Or make you just want to stand up and cheer

Oh how'll I miss this one hell of a man
Made me today of who I am

Across oceans far and wide
Johnny sang his songs with passionated pride

Now he soars amidst his eagle friends
High above the rockies bends

Oh Johnny this song's for you
As I sing about your eagle friends too

Did He die in vain, leaving no visible trace to remember Him by?
Did He fall into Satan's deceitful trap and let him continue to lie?

We can be victorious as Christ was and become immortal,
let the evildoers destroy themselves with deeds so immoral!

Did His deviate from the holy path and be easily deceived by false glory,
no, He did not give into the Angel of Darkness, but resisted with hostility.

We can be victorious as Christ was...truly divine and humble,
let others mock us with their irrationality, we will not tremble!

Did He speak against the tyrants of His day, to be praised for being bright?
No, He did not...but with His whip He cleaned a temple so impure and dark!

We can be victorious as Christ and be part of His prophesied kingdom,
and marked by true modesty and humbleness, we'll lose our humanism!

Did He want to die as an impostor to satisfy the ego of a would-be God?
No, He did not seek glorification without merit and be called the Word!

We can be victorious as Christ was by denouncing all vanity and wickdeness,
not being crucified on Calvary as He was, but be resurrected as Lazarus was!

Lyrca Lyric

It sloped like the hillock
Where I played as a boy
Then curved to a pillow
Of round contoured joy

It was poetry in motion
A rare joy to behold
A promise of mystery
And pleasures untold.

But like art on the wall
Of the world's best museums
Best viewed from afar
The stuff of poetry and dreams

Poets Verse

Music is poems with notes set to sing.
Whatever the words, emotions to bring.

Some sad songs can really bring you down.
Listen to some blues, to keep your frown.

Other times it's fun acting like a clown.
Stay low for so long, then come back around.

Now most poets tend to call their work songs.
Whether or not, I just want to belong.

Rhyming with timing and verse set to meter.
Has to make sense, or I'll call you a cheater.

I cannot write any notes, to music anyway.
I can write poems, if you listen to what I say.

Rhyming with timing without any reason.
Is hard on my brain in any one season.

Although all the old poems are considered better.
A new one by chance may strike on this letter.

Forgive me! I'm here in my pled. I'm here on my hands and knees
yelling out to the world. I was wrong, I don't know what I was thinking
that was back then. I'm sorry I rather lose my life then to lose a friend.

You best believe just forgive me
this is my shout out to you, for you to listen to what I have to say
. I'm done and I'm not going to walk away
never again b/c its hard on me to think I just lost a friend.
