The Intruder’s Doom
By Curtis Johnson

He hasn’t the time or the tenderness,
To sit and sing a sweet and soothing solo.
He hasn’t the capacity to be concerned
About your feelings, no matter how low.

He invades without a word, a day, a time;
Not even a season or a shadow.
When calling, he fails to identify himself,
And he rarely says hello.

He moves and flows so endlessly,
And never wears a halo.
He bares no good news, but only bad.
Sad tidings become such a fellow.

Sometimes, he appears when you are feeling fine and mellow;
And also when you are sleeping quietly upon your pillow.

Regardless of who we are, none need to make a fuss, because death has an appointment with all of us.

But none need fear death nor its great sting,
Because it shall end with a descending gloom

Even the night and the darkness shall also cease;
And death along with the beast shall be forever doomed

Salvation

I
Sit
Thinking about
Me thinking about
Me thinking about those
Who are not granted freedom
At will are still able to try rebuilding
Their change and stepping up against those who
Just knock down their progression into a new destiny
In which all of those who people who strive and try
Will die but in a way in which those people
Will live their souls knowing
It may have took a lifetime
A word a day
A life just to
Reclaim their
True and
Only
Goal
Salvation
