In the barnyard, on a farm,
Lived a pig with a certain charm,
Wilbur was his name, so bright and sweet,
A special pig, that all did greet.
Charlotte, a spider, so wise and kind,
Took Wilbur under her wing, in her mind,
She spun webs, with words so true,
A plan to save Wilbur, from becoming stew.
The animals of the farm, all played their part,
In helping Charlotte, with all their heart,
The goose, the rat, the sheep, the horse,
Together they worked, with no remorse.
Charlotte's webs, with words so bright,
Saved Wilbur's life, with all her might,
A friendship, so pure, that touched the soul,
A bond that never broke, a story to behold.
In the end, Charlotte left this world,
Her memory, forever to be unfurled,
Wilbur, now a hero, with a heart so true,
A story of love, that never grew old anew.
Charlotte's Web, a tale of friendship and love,
A story that will forever be thought of,
With words so powerful, and a heart so bold,
A legacy, that will never grow old.
When I see you I fill with joy
You have been there all along
You played with me
all day long
You bring me what I need
You'll never let me fall
even when you're gone
you will here my call
you and me running across the lawn
Even if it hurts to see you go
I love you, my friend
are love will only grow
I will always lend a hand
Carolyn Lee, a quirky artist, befriended me
She did everything with a bucket of glee
Best of all, her friendship was free
I learned a lot from Carolyn Lee.
She played art well, with a tee hee hee
Always laughing and beautifully
Other people’s criticism she did not hear or see
She was super confident, Carolyn Lee.
Why don’t you come paint with me?
She asked me with her usual kind of glee.
I wanted to, and the paint was free.
But I was intimidated by Carolyn Lee.
She used to be here,
beside me,
our laughter filling the gaps in the quiet.
But then it changed,
when they came around,
the ones with the right clothes,
the right words.
And I was left behind.
She doesn’t look at me now,
not like she used to.
She walks with them,
her back straight,
her smile cold,
and I’m still here,
waiting,
watching her slip away.
It’s like she doesn’t remember
the way we used to talk about everything,
the way we shared our secrets,
no walls between us.
Now I’m just a ghost,
a forgotten name
fading into the distance.
She leaves with them,
those people I can’t even name,
and I wonder what they’ve done
to her.
Her laugh sounds different now,
like it’s been hollowed out,
like it’s a mask
she wears to fit in.
I want to scream,
to reach out,
but she’s already gone.
I’m a memory,
buried in the weight of who she’s becoming.
She’s someone else now,
someone I can’t recognise,
and I wonder if she ever thinks of me,
or if I’m a forgotten chapter
she’ll never read again.
Emilia J, so lovely and light, no sun-bearing song, could be singing so bright,
In the heat of the day, or the chill of the night, Emilia J, is a beautiful sight,
At the core of the Earth, or the crag-bearing crust, Emilia J, is a beacon of trust,
If you batter your bread, in a bag-tearing bust, Emilia J, is a poetry must.
Emilia J, how great can you be, writing your poems from the top of a tree,
The crows are upset, invariably, but Emilia J, is a blossom to me,
Her writing is finer than rabbits have hares, Emilia J, is a friend to the bears,
If poetry, possibly, prickles your pears, Emilia J, is a poet who cares.
Curious minds seek knowledge,
laughter, friendship, shared
classmates, hearts connected.
Chatter fills the air,
laughter beyond imagination
classmates together.
As war comrades
we stand to strive hard,
good memories we still create.
Like red ants on march
hands held heartedly with
with heavenly blessing,
to cross that star fived sea(L5)
classmates together,
so sad three stayed with the flag
in a foreign land,
hope we forget never to forget,
lovely classmates I recall.
Miss Candy P. Cane was in a bit of a fix.
Her friend Miss L. Toe was not able to mix.
They were at a party with Mr. Chris T. Mess.
He wanted Candy alone, he had to confess.
Can’t she find anyone? He asked his sweetie dear.
Maybe she could go with Sir Red N. Deer?
Miss Candy P. Cane wished she had not brought Miss L.
Being alone with her honey would have been swell.
But she was a loyal friend, and she was kind of stuck.
Surely there is someone else? She asked. Another schmuck?
Miss L. Toe heard them, and marched off angry that day.
They have never repaired their friendship, most people say.
A person who will listen and not condemn,
Someone on whom you can depend.
They won't flee when bad times are here,
Instead they will be there to lend an ear.
They will think of ways to make you smile,
So you can be happy for a while.
When times are good and happy there after,
They will be there to share the laughter.
Do not forget your friends at all,
For they pick you up when you fall.
Do not expect to just take and hold,
Give friendship back, it is pure gold.
My friend my friend
Supporting me anywhere
Acting like my mom
Caring me anytime
My friend my friend
Sharing your feelings
Solving the problem
You are always my family

Magnets never lie,
Magnets never die.
As will our love,
You and I
I have finally arrived,
To remain behind.
This time it will never break apart,
Till the very last time.
[HARAN SARAVANAN - SERI JUBLI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL MALAYSIA]
Opposite poles attract
Like poles repel
This is a scientific fact
Are we meant for each other
Only time will tell
We are meant for each other
Our love is perfect
You and I are forever
Darling, I truly love you
Will you accept?
[DHEEBAN KUMAR - SERI JUBLI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL MALAYSIA]
Nothing to see here the black bear said.
I am giving the rabbit a lift with my head.
Then you will eat him? Someone asked with glee.
The bear rolled his eyes and said “tweedle dee dee”.
The rabbit had not thought of this possibility.
He wondered then if too trusting he must be.
But the bear was his friend, so would keep him safe.
They had a terrific friendship, he and Mr. Rafe.
Mr. Rafe whispered you should scream.
It would be fun to wake them up from this dream.
The rabbit did not feel as comfortable now.
But glad it was a dream, this part was a wow.
Land Dweller, the tortoise knew he would love this young bull named Red Gee. He had loved the bull’s father, grandfather, and great-grandfather hadn’t he? You are a red Angus, he told the young bull, and you will do well at the fair. People will revere you and photograph you, and show that they care.
Red Gee trusted Land Dweller, they developed a bond thicker than sugar dough. Pretty soon they were together, whenever and wherever either one would go. Land Dweller was about a hundred and twenty-six years old, by now. Seasoned and wise, he taught young Red Gee to stay away from one frisky young cow.
She has her sights set on you, he told the young’un, so you have to be quick. She is ready to settle down, so let her go after that other bull, McNick. Because you, my lad, are a show bull, and we must get you in a ring. Comments and compliments will swirl around, praises will sing.
Red Gee trusted Land Dweller completely, for it was in his DNA
to listen to Land Dweller, and give him respect and friendship every day. It had been good enough for his ancestors, and they taught him in his dreams, to follow Land Dweller’s advice, for he was even wiser than he seems.
The puppy and the kitty were the best of friends
They touch noses until their whiskers got the bends.
They ran together and frolicked and laughed and played.
They had the best time together, neither afraid.
They cuddled up at night, in the arms of each other.
They considered each other a sister and a brother.
Some people were surprised. They asked how can this be?
They did not know that dogs and cats could have this much glee.
They laughed and they tumbled and they rumbled and puppy barked.
The kitty meowed and patted you down, their friendship was a lark!
They both loved playing together in the winter, spring, summer and fall.
Few adults understood it, but they were actually the best friends of all!
He was the most basal, nasal
Bottom slowest, lowest
relative in their family, Jess Mamily.
They were fearful and tearful,
When his parents brought him to Sunion Reuion
He was dorky, dinky, odd, a clod.
Don’t play with him, said the Suion cousins, there were dozens.
So he sat alone, writing a story, penning a poem, a friendless gnome.
His penning paid off, he wrote a killer of a best seller.
He made two hundred thousand, maybe a few dollars more.
For the Jess Mamily the public knew was adored by the ten score.
The cousins began to knock on his notoriously famous door.
But he did not open it, remembering their mistreatment of him.
A Sunion Relative, but shunned no more.
On the Mamily size, Jesse had an always sweet cousin, Jim.
Not thirty four, not even a dozen, only Jesse and him.
This cousin was embraced by him and he shared his wealth.
Their friendship firm, both happy with monetary health.
