Zero Hour-Time
Silver bells festive in the sky
joy on earth and peace from on high
born in Bethlehem the owner of creation
warmed by animals in piercing cold of cave
Mary and Joseph kneeling in the hay
with a few shepherds to Baby Jesus pray
glittering gold of wings and violet gowns
heavenly splendor in adoration bowed
smiles the Babe raising hand to bless
small crowd present and caravan far yet
guided by star from lands apart united
three wise men on wonder path uncharted
bringing gold, frankincense and myrrh
to the High Priest, God and King of kings.
Festive bells announcing in the sky
time divide of day light from night
Zero hour
Before and after Christ.
