Tall trees sway with ease In a warm gentle breeze Bright blossoms are dancing This sight’s so entrancing The weather is quite mild Though my hair, newly styled Blows freely in the air But I don’t really care Mother Nature provides The winds and the tides When I’m walking outside My sheer joy I can’t hide

I am off contests these days. Living on an island like me one appreciates the lovely zephyr that blows softly at sunset. Great poem. Best for a win. hugs.

So often you've told me about your walks. Overlooking the sea must be spellbinding, Jan. It would be for me. I live near a huge lake, but the sea... ahh that's different. Let your hair blow in the sea breeze.

Dear Jan, You have captured the simple joys of being immersed in nature's embrace. The imagery of tall trees swaying, bright blossoms dancing, and the gentle breeze tousling your hair showing a picture of tranquility and contentment. Amidst the winds and tides of Mother Nature's symphony, you find pure joy in the moment, reveling in the beauty that surrounds you. I loved how your words are to appreciate the small pleasures. - Blessings, Daniel

Love it, The reason Jan, I don't try to fit into contests, is I don't look as good as you do in them.........you are really good at it !

Hi Jan. Love your rhyming couplets. Mother Nature can always raise the spirit. Hope your hairstyle has recovered from the zephyr. Tony.
