You'Re Every Breath I Take
_______________________________________
With your hand resting in mine I was strong,
you were my true north, my anchor, my rock;
and I thought we had this life together,
that great love could survive all weather.
Within your embrace is where I belong,
but there is a book written and a clock;
our love was not to be forever,
my sweet love, I will not let go- NEVER.
Your were my world just like in the song,
'till on our door destiny came to knock;
and you had to leave me for Heaven's gate
it was long written and it was your fate.
I will not forget you my whole lifelong,
and the clock of time is loud tick-tock, tock;
I thought that without you my world would end,
but each day I feel your great love descend.
