Your Visit

I had a dream late last night I was hugging you and asking you if you were alright. Your beautiful hazel eyes were glowing with the light of spirit and my heart didn't hurt anymore with pain, because of your visit was finished. I once again held you close and was remembering about you, what I missed most. Silence fell upon the room, your spiritual light lifted the gloom from the room. I awoke with tears in my eyes and I could smell your perfume as if again I was five. So much love you gave and never once did you ever say goodbye.

Very emotionally charged poem, Sharon. It seems if we never get the chance to say goodbye, we carry the emptiness with us longer.

I am okay, I kind of like the fact she never said goodbye, in a sense it makes me feel as though it is not forever, only for a little while, are we apart. Thank you, Daniel, for your sincere comment. Wishing you all the best. Sharon
