Author's Note: This love or romantic poem, "Your Touch Means So Much," is rendered in the Pantoum poetic format and follows the traditional ABAB rhyme scheme. The meter is varied. This poem speaks to the intensity and passion shared by two people in love, whereby the essence of each other's love is personified by their "touch." Similar in theme to an earlier Terzanelle poem that I wrote, this Pantoum is oriented toward the notion that following God's blessing above, a couple's bond of love is something meant for an eternity. Moreover, the very destiny of two people as they share the emotion and ecstasy of their love is part of the larger divine nature of God's love which touches the depths of their souls as they approach their "nexus of rebirth." This theme is also arrayed against the structural requirements for the Pantoum, which made for a most interesting write. (Gary Bateman - July 31, 2015) (Pantoum)
