Your Poem

You are lying on the couch God's perfect toes sprawled in that little fashion He make them like they should be I love them Curling with every breath and snore You read me something Moses talking I swear I heard the passage But I concentrated on you I'm dull from the spider bite You've made the salve I sit and wait for the swelling to go away I watch you sleep Some commercial comes on the TV As the humidifier hums I watch you As you breathe, your bronchitis So strong I bit my lip a little In worry of your sickness You smile and pinch me I'm just a quiet babble Tony Rest well
