Your Moon and Stars

In your words, I am your moon and stars
 I light your path in a lonely place
 Bright as the moon and my eyes are like stars      
 Yet, you lie with another when I’m away

 I am food for your heart; I nourish your soul

 Mere words chosen precisely to beguile

 Words once held as truth, now accuse you    
 Mere words chosen precisely to beguile
 All beautiful lies used in strategy
