Your Hand Reached Down

??Isaiah? ?59:1?-?2? ?NIV??
[1] Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. [2] But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

Oh, God that I would question your reach
For it was the foolishness of me
That had kept me in bondage of darkness
My arm not reaching to learn your ways
Blinded by the world teachings
And traditions of man
That loves praise of man than you God
For this is where Jesus came to save us from
Oh, God your hand reached down
Unto the depths of my soul
Circumcising the old man to the grave
When I threw up my hands to know you
How abundant is your love, mercy and grace.
For greater is the Spirit sent from Jesus death
Than is in the darkness of mankind ruled by the evil one.
Your hand reaches down to snatch One from death.
To resurrect one unto a Living Child of God

Wow, you've so wisely reflected a profound truth in the words ~ dear, Stephan. Negativities and darkness cage us in the abyss of illusions, lies and deceptions, as we can't seem to emancipate from this toxic aura and unknowingly, distance ourselves from the God, whilst questioning whether he is really there in the universe. God's power is supreme and soulful, beyond our fathomable capabilities... You've so rightly said this.. I really loved reading this, sending you light!

Praise God for the Loving mercy and forgiveness we are blessed with from Him. Thanks for the uplifting poem of God's Love for his creation, man. And for a reminder that it is our sins that separate us from our loving father, Stephan. Thank you for sharing your soulful poems with us, my friend. Peace and joy, Bill

We chain ourselves in darkness never noticing that God's loving hands are stretched down to lift us from the pit of darkness. When we finally see it and let Him guide us, grace and mercy in abundance will flow to us. He elevates us from death to everlasting life. As ever, your thoughts are divine Stephan!
