Your Favorite Song - Kryptonite

You are my fatal weakness,
my dark covered light
Got those piercing, dark-green emerald eyes,
and an alien heart shaped like kryptonite

And I hear the dirge words from my favorite song playing:
The beautiful ones always make you cry

You are my decadently Delilah,
my cup of steamy, evening nightshade
Though I be your lover Superman
with a Samson tan,
you cut my strength away with a dark-green razor blade

And I cry
like a dove,
Baby, baby why
As I can't turn away from the gaze
of your killer kryptonite eyes

While I hear the dirge drone of my favorite song constantly saying:
The beautiful ones always make you cry

And I'm certain too,
as I wipe the dark-green tears from your eyes,
that your kryptonite lips
will give me a sorrowful, sad kiss when I die

Now at peace, I close my eyes,
holding your kryptonite heart close to mine
And your radiant lips are aglow,
flaming fluorescent, bright light-green lime

As echoes of these dirge words from my favorite song starts fading:
The beautiful ones, they hurt you every time

Prince was one of my all time favorite singer/ song writer. And musician. You expressed very well very well why it's your favorite song. It was everything that I was looking for.
