'Tis a meaningful tanka, Lukas; applies not only to the dollar but to our euro, too! ~ Somehow, when I see 'dollars' I always think of Clint Eastwood and Spaghetti westerns! // paul

The Euro simplifies things, Lukas; no playing around exchanging money, and losing in the process! Where trade is concerned, my country (Malta) has benefitted. // paul

lol I guess being in America I have more to relate to the dollar but that is interesting. I have not seen a Euro yet but I have travelled Europe when the Pound Lira Mark Franc, Schilling etc were around and we had to exchange at every border. Is it better with the Euro?

I wonder, is it the dollar or the thing we want to buy with it??? I like this thought provoking piece!

I will not look at a dollar the same way again, Lukas! A really great Tanka! Best wishes for the contest. 7, Sandra
