You Will Never Know

The sun did shine for all the time you were here with me though I dare not hold you accountable for wanting to be free in your hands you did hold me but what you never could understand was I could’t be the me I was in your dreams for I am just a man no more no less than that I am what more could I ever be for I took my falls and stood it all now here I stand in grief so take what ever word you will I have nothing left to say but I will carry my sorrow in my heart for the rest of all my days but I want you to know I love you so and I’m with you where ever you go and yes this poem is about you but you will never know
