You Were . . .

You were everything and nothing at all ~ Simply the passage of so much time. You were the keeper of lies while I reached for the truth of us. You were that moment that never mattered in the instant that meant the most. And I shiver with the memory of the dream I had last night . . . Strange. That then I may have called it love.
