'You Once Told Me'
You once told me
It wouldn't change
Yet it did
But it was expected
Change is norm
It's how we react to it
That determines the outcome
I am so much more at peace now
Hope you are too
We say things in jest
Not realising we put them in the atmosphere
Eventually
They happen without you having control
The trick is to move with it
Not in angst, but expectancy
