You Matter
A shimmering knife
A oozing cut
Not too deep
You'll hit the vein
Tug down your sleeve
They mustn't see
Their worry and fear
It won't change the hurt
They don't really see
Just push you towards doctors
Never think to ask
What's in your mind
Or to tell you that you matter
They're all to busy
And your cuts go deeper
Till one day it's deeper
A cut straight up the arm
Slowly you will bleed
Till you lay in a red sea
The foot steps come closer
As the world goes darker
A door swings open
And the final dark takes over
