You and I

Destiny has tethered your heart to mine,
not by chance circumstance, but by design.
The echoes of lives past connect our souls,
guiding fated footsteps toward shared goals.

Two souls, through love, morph into one being;
while our anxieties are sent fleeing.
I can't imagine myself without you;
for you're my past, present, and future too.

Your scent sweetens my memories and dreams
while silencing the cries of silent screams.
You harbor an insatiable desire,
igniting passion's flame; you're the fire.

You are my muse, my hope, and my best friend,
forever soulmates, do not fear the end.
We'll always find each other, you and I;
our love, outlasting the stars in the sky.
