You are NOT them.
You're you.
Be you.
Trust you.
Love you....Enough....To be true....To you.
You are NOT
The father
who left you,
The uncle,
who raped you.
And, you are NOT
the devilish ways,
that this evil act
SHAPED YOU.
You are NOT
The neighbor,
The pastor,
nor
The teacher,
who touched you.
The ones,
who crippled your soul,
and never resolved things,
but just CRUSHED you.
You are NOT,
The SCARS,
that they left,
whether VISIBLE
or
invisible,
Still all very real
and
Still all reprehensible!
You are NOT,
Their aborted child,
Their sly smile,
Their slick style...
You are NOT
a punching bag,
with no one to intercede.
Nor are you a starring lead,
when they feel the need,
to do the deed.
You are NOT
a trash can,
for THEIR SPENT SEED!!!!
You are NOT them!
You're YOU!
Be YOU!
Trust YOU!
Love YOU,
Enough,
To be true,
to
YOU!
