Yet, I Rise Like The Sun

 * Inspired by Maya Angelous "Still I Rise"

 You label High Ideals Blasphemous, Yet your Religious Creeds breed Misery
 Yet, I sail Free in the High Seas beyond the Ill winds of Sorcery
 you cast Stones of Hatred but your Crooked Eye can't see
 Yet, I Rise Like The Sun, For the Future is Bright as me

 Does My Wisdom offend you because your drunk?
 or because your Sails adrift, Rotting and Withering in Rust to Dust?
 You see, your Arrows of Hatred are irrelevant, for I Ascend to new heights
 In spite your Ignorance and Lies, I Still Rise

 As Above, So Below, what's beneath me burns with Fire
 snared in your own traps, because my Faith Burns Brighter
 your mirages and delusions cause Confusions so Vast
 for nothing is permanent, your Impermanence has failed you, Alas

 Did you think I'd Give In and Shatter like glass?
 and kneel to my Master which I Mastered and Outmatched?
 Should I give in because it's Convenient, or because you think I must?
 You See, in the Higher Kingdom there is no Death, No Fear, In This I Trust

 Does my Zeal offend you or because I'm Steadfast?
 or is it my Light that burns Bright that's Everlast?
 or is it that I Glisten like Diamonds through Higher Faculties?
 or because I hold The Sword Of Victory?

 You can taint my name but you can't taint the facts, You See
 for your arrogance is a great asset for my Sovereignty,
 You See Freedom is Sweeter, More Sweet than Slavery
 I Am Wind, I Am Air, I Am Water, I Am Fire, I Have Conquered all these
 
 Is it my Shine that Upsets you because it Glistens the night?
 or because you could never be, what I have become, a Shining Knight?
 I sing and dance to this Great Song called Life
 I Am the Stars, I Am the Moon, I Am the Sun So High

 Into the pages of History, you will remember me
 above the Solar Plexus, I AM Solar Rexus, I AM Infinity
 above your Evil Eye and Pride, I RISE
 for my Wings are Wide, my Perspective Upright

 You See, Heaven is a mindset so there I Fly
 where Spirit is Eternal, there your Religion Dies
 through the Lesser Creeds which like a web you have weaved and Spun
 I find myself Triumphant,    Yet, I Rise Like The Sun
