Yet

One never knows whether indecisive and hypocritical folks are coming or going, whether the face they wear is true or false. They say one thing yet do another. They swear up and down its all love, yet their words and deeds indicate otherwise. They assure you they'd be there for you, yet they leave you stranded in the cold. One promised to never break your heart, yet here you are, in pieces. Why do they do this? Are you just as confused as I am? Is it human nature?

                                                                           indecisive folks
                                                                           toughest puzzle to solve, yet...
                                                                            a confusing bunch

I Am Anaya April 18, 2024 at 9:56 AM Music to my ears, Edward, a great entry! Borderline, contradictory, teetering. Many make up their minds, by policies they endorse (no taxes, keep immigrants out, etc.) love or not this makes up their minds! That's where pietism begins. Share and be kind, we’re taught as kids, but society teaches ‘get all you can’ no matter the consequences, who you hurt. Hypocrisy is the coin of the realm and that’s unfortunate.
