Yesterday In Love

Aphrodesiacs in whispers on the air above the terrace. Who resides there in the twilight? Clinking glasses, laughing, talking, in an undertone of sharing. Faceless to our silent queries. Who distills the silver starlight into potions heavy laden, sprinkled with the dust of moonbeams. Who remains to see the sunrise................. Could it be the ghosts of lovers down below and lost in sorrow for a love that used to be?
