Yesterday Gone, Letter To a Friend

Yesterday Gone, Letter To A Friend Curtis Johnson Dear Lee, It was a 'God thing' kind of day that came packaged with words that spoke about a 'Yesterday Gone'. 'Yesterday Gone' had quietly packed up its frustrations, its intimidating fears, its pains, and disappeared. In came 'God Thing Day' with words that more than 'made my day'. It was a reassuring day that had my name written all over it. I could not read it, but it surely had a specialized label. It did not say, 'Made in China', but rather, 'Made in Heaven'. You were that kind and gracious man who knew the agony of my frustration. "That Day Is Gone" were the four unforgettable words that you spoke to me. 03282017 cj FB PS
