Yellow Sundress
Ah the sundress that I once owned
Bright yellow with pink roses adorned
It brought such pleasure to my heart
When I wore it and it set me apart
A very special memory it holds
Among its bright yellow folds
Its neck designed with tiny rose blooms
And a dash of an alluring perfume
I set out for a summer ball
With a dainty lace shawl
And there this dress played its lure
For I attracted my man for sure
Since then the dress has this magic pure
Used for every situation unsure
Kept among tissue and a lot of love
For my gals when they’ll be party doves
