Wrong Places

When you meet a guy at a bar A drunk is what your going to get If you meet a man at the track Trust me that's not his last bet When you meet a man from rehab His addiction is not you You want a man that's Clean loving and true In order to find this man You have to be smart Try church at least you know He's got god in his heart You meet a guy from jail and He just can't let go his past Meeting these guys on line The relationship just ends to fast If you don't want all Your time and energy wasted Stop looking for love In all the wrong places

Very wise and true, Faleshia! But sometimes we'll have a problem and take the wrong place for the right one....Happy Easter!...Gert

Hi Faleshia, These words of yours are true to the core and that's why we must be selective in our choices and not go for anything less especially when it comes to the desires of our heart that we want the most but in reality hardly anyone is perfect and we can take a good look ourselves as an example and we too are far from perfect. This poem that you have written has embraced my thoughts and if only for a moment I enjoyed seeing through your eyes instead of my own,Have a wonderful day, Dean

Excellent write Faleshia..but how about you can meet a guy in church and still he can betray you, lead you astray as any of the others would? Maybe we all need to stop looking for love, period; go about our business and hopefully let it find us? idk! Nevertheless, this is well-written, as usual. You are a gifted poet!Peace, love, Audrey
