I just want to re-iterate how wonderful this poem is before making a suggestion. I see that you are submitting this poem for a Clerihew contest. I hope the eight lines won't disqualify it. Because you have a winning poem here. But, to improve the Clerihew I would suggest you use only the last stanza in the contest. The whole poem is absolute genius. And I Hope this poem is a winner because it should be.
