Writer's Block
Waiting for inspiration
Like waiting for a train
Sitting,
Watching people get on
Get off
Watching people,
Seeing short moments of their life
What they do
Who they are
And forgetting myself
Saw a man running,
What was he late for?
Saw a woman break her heel
Now what will she do?
Saw young teens just waiting
Not in a rush
Then I saw someone sitting across the platform
Sitting
Watching
He was watching me
We looked at each other for a few seconds
Held the gaze
And released
Maybe like me,
He was waiting for the train of inspiration
