Wretched Pride

How long oh Lord must I with my wretched eyes look upon creation with pride. How long must my mouth be filled with impotent words that pollute the air Would you oh Lord in your divine will, send a fool, that in my intellectual pursuit, would render me but a worm on this earth that I may look to the heavens stripped of my dignity with nothing but a foul vessel to offer up as a temple.
