You are my husband, and I am your wife. You are a reader; for me, writing's rife. Supportive you are! My poetry stems a pleasure for you to read my word gems. My writes are not done till you critique each; you seem to enjoy my inspiring reach. Now, this has become a shared time of cheers we look forward to; have done so for years! My worry is that my keenness will drop; will you love me still if my poems stop? Would you love me if a poet, I'm not; leave a hollow space in your reading slot?

Its such a blessing to have a partner or husband that would be a true reader and supporter of our poems. I really love how you’ve written for this inspiring prompt. Especially that ending is so profound. “ would you love me if a poet im not” so poetic you are. Exquisite rhymes too. Wishing you all the best for the contest
