~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When the buds quietly form
Pouring out wonders, a song
Coloring the sunrise so warm
Whispering a gentle so strong
When the rain stills the dust
And joy lingers on the soul
There is hope hearts can trust
Blessings who make you whole
When the nights are alive
With starlight and fireflies
His sweet grace will survive
Growing joy beyond the skies
When the sorrows fade away
And everywhere, there is praise
Remembering the happy day
When His sacrifice will amaze
When every dream is shattered
All the light turns to shadows
His love and light surely scattered
So when we see the One He chose…
The One who died and then arose,
There is a breathless hope inspired
Hope for a time when He’ll oppose
All the doubts the accuser fired –
On that day, despite every shame
We’ll meet the One we so often praise,
The Savoir who took our blame
Even though, His purity would amaze
Without a doubt, He is the light
Shining into our broken hearts,
He goes before us, making things right
He brings us hope that never departs.
Wherever you go, know there is hope
He is my light, the reason I know
Whatever comes, I can always cope
Jesus! To Him, my love I surely owe!
