I was invited by Robert James Liguori to do a collaboration with him. We created half each. We hope you enjoy...
( A COLLABORATION BY ROBERT JAMES LIGUORI AND NATASHA L SCRAGG )
Seeking meaning, I went on an adventure,
Deep in the forest looking for answers.
Pine cones, butterflies and lots of twigs,
Need I seek reasoning in all of this?
After so long, I came upon a little bridge,
That seemed to be in the middle of nowhere.
But that didn't need my best guess,
As there was a sign, " MIDDLE OF NOWHERE "
Centered in the bridge was a black and white squirrel,
With colours arranged like a Holstein cow.
With all this craziness, encountering me,
I needed my wisdom, I needed it now!
So I asked this little squirrel,
What is the worlds destiny?
He faced himself squarely at me,
He spoke responding happily...
" Please, perch yourself on this
Branch of my groovy tree.
Don't get distracted.
Listen carefully...
Destiny is not a mere
Turn of phrase.
It's made up by all
And how they choose to use their days.
Destiny is tomorrow
Determined by today.
It's made up in practice
Not by what people say.
So. Observe the world around you.
How do people act?
The Worlds destiny is determined
By the world - and that's a fact! "
