World of Jews

World of Jews,
your name is written
in the pages of history.

Not in silence—
but in brilliance.

You are a people
of sharp minds.
Of endurance.

Tested by time.

I have seen your sorrow.

In Sobibor extermination camp
the air carried grief.
The earth remembered pain.

Even there—
your spirit did not break.

In another age,
in another life,
you built cities.

You shaped trade.
You mastered craft.

Hands of skill.
Minds of order.

Your culture carries weight.
Your tradition—dignity.

The world was not always kind.
Yet you endured.

And in endurance—
you became great.

Your achievements speak.
They echo in every nation.

But greatness is fragile.

It can be stained
by the actions of a few.

Do not let your name
be carried into darkness
by men like
Benjamin Netanyahu.

Power, when misused,
destroys even the noble.

O sons and daughters of Israel—
guard your legacy.

Do not allow
those without conscience
to speak in your name.

No cause
justifies the breaking
of moral law.

No vision
should demand
the loss of humanity.

The world does not hate you.

The world watches you.

And it remembers.

If you are just—
stand for justice.

If you are good—
protect what is good.

Let not a few
reshape the image
of the many.

Choose wisdom
over pride.

Choose peace
over dominance.

Support balance.

Support a future
where two peoples
may live—

Not in fear—
but in dignity.

For power alone
does not secure legacy.

Only justice does.

And history—
is never silent.

Remember this is a huge difference between Jews and Zionists. As for building, historically was the phoneticians build many Jewish cities, just an interesting afterthought. Lovely poem.
