With a frisky fifteen knot wind blowing
Our ship departed with two tugs towing.
Right away I was feeling excited
Looking at mom's face, she was delighted
Dad booked this trip and I was invited.
Cruising from port to port around the world
Riding a schooner with her sails unfurled.
Under a star studded ebony sky
I felt free as a bird that's learned to fly.
Seeing each port for the very first time
Every nuance, left me feeling sublime.
