It can’t be the same
Once a heart has been broken
Can’t go back again
Don’t offer that peace token
Please leave your words unspoken….

tanka do not generally rhyme, but they are more about content than form, and your content in this poem is stunning, love it

Sometimes peace and broken heart have to live side by side, even with the words unspoken. I like this, makes you think. Take care, Regards Richard
