You're like “Plato” they say—Do they think
I'm that colossal

This made me laugh, Yes my brother Bill we were friends for the most part. On death, he would say " when you're dead Deb, that's it. I'd say there's more to it. So those got a bit heated. So I'm 100% sure that's why I saw him at my front door. He came back to tell me I was right . That there is an afterlife & he came back to tell me :)

That makes sense. We can see all kinds of things depending on our slant. Seen things myself--while I am awake! I know that sounds strange. I was having therapy at the time, and my social worker/analyst described this as a vision. I can believe that the two of you had heated arguments about whether the afterlife exists. Regardless, we still should live the same way here on earth. That's my two cents.

Funom, we are trying to make this world better. There are, however, many who want to hold onto the ways of the past. I am certain you have seen much.

Absolutely clever!!! It's always fun and mind boggling reading your limericks! Words do matter? Some take words really deeply, others in a whole new way. It's interesting as the poet or writer to see others' takes on their work. As the reader, I say, anything with Plato's name in it forces one to think! And thinking is oppressive for some.. Always, Laura

I can only imagine how you perceive the world. You are operating at a high baud rate. Thinking and empathy are important and you are so well endowed with these characteristics. I really do appreciate your presence.
