Word Impression Poem 4: Bayard

What a splendid state of delusion you inhabit, my friend!
Afloat upon a boundless sea of ignorance,
You drift towards disaster
With all the courage of an Alexander.

When it overtakes you, I'll never say,
"I told you so!"
Since no one could ever tell you anything.
